I know some people will probably say, “hey that kid shouldn’t be hitting the ceiling down.” But when you surround kids with shit, how do you expect them to treat the building? These kids have the misfortune of going to a school where the interim principal, superintendent, and chairman of the school committee don’t give a shit about them. They never have, and they never will. If the people who run the school district don’t respect the building by keeping up with the maintenance, then why would they ever expect the students to?
How much would it suck to go to school a welfare school like this?
Look at all those buckets. This is what the SEBRSD is spending money on – buckets. Because apparently they’re all out of money. Gee whiz, maybe they shouldn’t have spent the last six months and over $100,000 investigating if two teachers stole imaginary money that the district already admitted mismanaging. Oh yea, and the investigation still isn’t complete which means the Law Office of Robert J. Hennigan Jr. is still billing them by the hour.
Anyone who thinks it’s OK to spend that kind of money while kids go to school in this type of environment, is a danger to children.
Meanwhile we have idiots like Bob Cirba:

Sorry kids, you can’t have normal things that kids in other schools have because this miserable dooshnozzle in your town thinks that part of growing up is “wanting sometimes.”
Here’s something else we found out yesterday – Patricia Jordan didn’t leave Jacob Hiatt. She was FIRED by Melinda Boone. Do you understand how bad you have to be at your job to be fired by Melinda freaking Boone???!!!! She has no business being around kids. And God knows Kevin Hayes and Tracy Crowe are dangerous, and their incompetence is directly impacting the safety of students in this school. What if a ceiling tile falls on some kid in math class? What then? Who cares about that right? We’re too busy investigating if the show choir director had a slice of pepperoni pizza which was paid for via the student activities fund.
If I were these kids I would go back to protesting. The only time you got their attention was when you skipped class and occupied the gym. That got actual headlines. Crowe and Hayes HATE headlines. They liked it more when they were running a corrupt, small school district that no one cared about. But the second you guys occupied that gym, they suddently acted. Because at the end of the day they just hate the negative publicity. Crowe is going to try to get a job somewhere else after this, and she can’t have a scandal on her resume.
This time you need to have real demands instead of falling for their lies and bullshit. Tracy Crowe, Kevin Hayes, and Patricia Jordan must resign. Until then, no classes. You guys have the power and your parents will back you up. Time for a revolution. We’ll back you 150%.

Ya they are probably punk millenials……… Well there are probably them bc kids these days are unhinged to an extent but come on!! I blame the school committee School was a piece of shit when I left in 07 and its a bigger piece of shit now. My son will not be going there and hopefully won’t even live near east brookfield or spencer much longer.
When are the parents in the towns going to take some action? Has anyone called the Dept. of Elem. and Secondary Ed. in Boston yet? How about NEASC? Oh wait, the school is already on probation from NEASC…
To me, is is unfathomable that the HS has been allowed to get this bad…I wonder though, how much have the parents in the two towns done to turn this around?
i hope to god someone is that district wins powerball and donates the money directly to the school so they can get a new state of the art facility.

We all thought it was bad when we went there (mind you it wasn’t very good) but this is insane…
I have always heard how bad that district was. Heard it for the last 20 years. Hear friends thinking about moving to Spencer or EB because of the lower home values and how cheap the taxes were especially in EB. My comment was always “Ya but the school system sucks, so prepare to send them to private school” I never realized actually how horrible they really are. I just have to wonder how the townspeople and selectmen and even the state haven’t done anything to correct it. I honestly have to say shame on the people in town for sitting back and waiting for someone else to do something about it. Obviously no one cares or it doesn’t matter. Shame on them
