If you have the documentation to prove this person hacked into your accounts and their actions rise to the level of a criminal offense, I’m fairly certain you don’t need the police department to file the charges. If you have the suspects name and address as well as the criminal charges (chapter/section, criminal violation description), you can petition the court, file the charges yourself. I’m sure the court charges some type of administrative/process fee. For example, it’s no different when two people are involved in a physical altercation, when the police aren’t present to witness the battery; that these people want to press charges against the other, the police may simply advise these people to seek criminal charges in court. My perception is the police don’t wish to investigate this incident, if that’s the case, at the very least you could provide the police department with your documentation and request they file a report you’re reporting an alleged criminal offense, you could then use that formal police report as part of your complaint package. I believe most courts in this state anyway, require a report made to the local police department where the offense occurred. I hope this helps.

As a woman who has relied on a restraining order and the benefit of the doubt from the police and court for my safety, I resent the hell out of this woman.
