Thankfully, after ten days, missing Bridgewater teen Shaina Hauter has been found safe and unharmed in Wareham this morning. She will now return to her family, where we can only expect the little princess to up and runaway again for the THIRD time in the near future.
The curious case of the missing Bridgewater 16-year-old Shaina Hauter had many locals in a frenzy over the last ten days. Friends, neighbors, family members alike were frantically searching for the missing girl, sharing her picture on social media sites, talking to people that might have known where she was, trying to figure out what had happened to her. Many were worried that she was taken against her will, and some expected the worst. It was an extremely trying time for hundreds if not thousands of people.
On top of that, police all around Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island were following leads, responding to hundreds of tips they received by concerned citizens via phone tip-lines and email. Plenty of tax dollars were spent and thousands upon thousands of man hours were wasted, all because this perfect little peach ran away with a boyfriend yet AGAIN and didn’t have the decency to inform everyone during her ten day hiatus – where she was, who she was with, what she was doing, when she was coming home, or if she was safe. All of these people wasting their time searching for Shaina could’ve been looking for or helping other children that really had been harmed, taken against their will, or were involved in other dangerous situations.
Very few details were released about this case originally, in fact many were afraid she was kidnapped. We were first told that she was the beautiful straight-A student from an amazing, caring family, beautiful cheerleader, teachers loved her, most popular, helps old ladies across the street, blah blah blah. However, now that she was found safe we have a very different picture of Shaina, and perhaps her perfect all-American family. While it’s completely impossible to speculate what may be going on at home with this girl and her family – literally no information has been released about her parents – it’s safe to say, somethin’ ain’t right here.
A few months ago Shaina had run away with another male friend to Rhode Island and was gone for “a few days” without telling anyone. On both occasions, she did not inform friends or family where she was going, what she was doing, who she was with, and didn’t respond to any phone calls or text messages, leaving her loved ones in a panic and again wasting everyone’s time and money.
Shaina there’s an old saying – three strikes and yer out – and the next time you wanna disappear for a few weeks and do whatever you may be doing, don’t expect a search party to comb the earth for your selfish ass, when they could be looking for thousands of other kids that have been kidnapped. Better yet, stay home.
