Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.
Terrible story out of Westfield….
The 8-month old baby who was on life support from injuries suffered after having been apparenly slapped hard by her father had died, according to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, and now the father may face additional charges. The baby girl died during the night at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, said James Leydon, spokesman for Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni. The child had been on life support since transferred from Baystate Noble in Westfield Saturday night. The child had reportedly been struck so hard with a slap that she stopped breathing, according to court records.
The father, Daniel A. Torres, 28, of 14 Parker St. Apt. 3, was arraigned Monday on charges of assault and battery on a child with substantial injury, assault and battery, reckless endangerment of a child and misleading a police officer. At his arraignment Monday in Westfield District Court, Torres denied the charges. He was ordered held on $1 million bail. He is due back in court Aug. 28. Leydon said that as of Tuesday afternoon, Torres had not been charged with any additional offenses in the baby’s death.
The state medical examiner’s office is scheduled to perform an autopsy, and the results will determine if Gulluni’s office will seek additional charges. According to court records, police were initially called to Baystate Nobel Hospital on Saturday for a baby girl who was not breathing. The child was resuscitated at least six times and was eventually transferred to Baystate Medical Center for further treatment. While removing her from the ambulance, CPR had to be administered twice more to revive the infant, court records said.
“Doctors informed police that is was unlikely that the infant would recover and there was almost no brain function at all. As of the time of this report the infant was on life support as medical authorities stated she would not survive without it,” Officer Richard Mazza said in the court records.
Medical staff said the baby had significant bleeding on the brain, severe swelling of the brain, retinal hemorrhages and bruises on her face. The child also had a large bruise on her right shin, court records said. There were also three long red marks ono the child’s forehead that appeared to be a handprint, records said. Torres initially told police he did know how she had been injured. He later told police that he had slapped her in a moment of frustration.
Absolutely awful. I for one am not buying that he just slapped her. There’s no way you can kill a child with just a slap. Not that there’s ever any justifiable reason to slap an 8 month old. They don’t understand commands. They can’t do anything besides shit themselves and roll over. They are not old enough to be disciplined. I can’t even wrap my head around how someone who supposedly loves their child can inflict deadly harm on them because they’re “frustrated.” If you can’t handle babies crying then don’t have kids.
I almost don’t even wanna talk about the baby killer. Although he did play the loving Dad on Facebook:
But it was all just a facade. He’s an animal with no regard for human life and he should do the taxpayers all a favor by playing phone a friend with Michelle Carter. Maybe she can give him some good advice.
Someone shared a link to this story on a Westfield Facebook page….
And of course Westfield’s finest decided to offer their thoughts on this vile piece of human garbage….
“I never heard Danny say that shit about no one.”
Oh good, we’re using the baby killer as a moral barometer. Off to a great start.
“I used to be knocked around and I would never want my mother dead.”
Oh OK. So you were the victim of child abuse, therefore abusing an 8 month old baby until they die is just kind of part of growing up. Except this time the girl doesn’t get to grow up.
“Was he trying to balance the fine line of teaching our children respect?”
She’s 8 months old. Eight freaking months old. An 8 month old isn’t remotely familiar with the concept of respect, and they don’t respond to physical abuse.
Then again this is what we’re dealing with….
Participation trophies for being clean for 2 weeks straight, and of course….the hat.
Oh, and she reproduced herself.
Good to know that beating disrespectful babies is in the immediate plans for the future.
Kaitlynn Small had plenty of other excuses though, like how it wasn’t his fault because he didn’t know his strength, and he might’ve been angry or under the influence….
Yup, that would make it way better.
And of course she blames the Westfield Police……
Because she’s had so many encounters with them that she’s able to have formed a strong opinion about them.
The bottom line is it’s never OK to beat your child, and there’s no way this baby died from one hard slap. I’ve heard the girl had broken bones. That’s not a slap, it’s a beating. And it takes a special kind of animal to inflict that kind of pain on someone as precious as this.
