So this Turtleboy was at the UMass-Boston College game today at Gillette Stadium. As usual, the good guys got their ass beat 26-7. What can I say? UMass is the Cleveland Browns of college football. What sucks is that BC kids are the absolute worst. There’s literally no point going there if you’re not an athlete. The only reason you go to BC is so you can tell people you went to BC. And the only reason you tell people you went to BC (which is usually the first thing you bring up when you meet someone if you went BC), is because you want people to know that you spent a lot of money on your degree. Therefore it’s worth more in your mind than some state school degree from UMass. But it’s not.
Oh yea, and you have to dress like you’re applying to get into the yacht club at all times. Especially at football games. Everywhere you looked today there was lucky sperm from Needham wearing the official uniform of BC grads and students everywhere – boat shoes with khaki shorts:
I can just see the dooshnozzle oozing out of their pores. I might only have a state school degree, but at least I don’t have to see a Nantucket reject every time I look at myself in the mirror. Just sayin.

Boat shoes are comfortable. Shorts are comfortable. Boat shoes cost less than your average pair of running shoes. A pair of regular Sperry’s, which are pretty much the best, run you about $50. And you don’t have to wash socks. Not seeing the down side to being comfortable, spending less money, and doing less laundry.
Really, an article about khakis and boat shoes. Kinda lame don’t ya think?

Nothing wrong with khakis and boat shoes, that’s what normal dudes wear. I picture Turtleboy in jean shorts, socks with sandals and a chain wallet.
Meh – I wear khaki shorts because they’re comfortable when it’s 100 degrees out; usually paired with a funny or offensive T-shirt. Wouldn’t be caught dead in those stupid fucking shoes though.
