Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is being criticized by some upstart City Councilor, with possibly the most hilarious politician name ever – Tito Jackson. I swear to God, his name is Tito Jackson. As in, “Im Michael Jackson, you Tito.” Basically it revolves around Boston Latin High School, a Boston Public School that evidently is nationally known as one of the best schools in the country. Students of color are alleging that they’re being treated negatively by white students, white teachers, and their white “headmaster.” And Marty Walsh isn’t doing enough to make them feel better about their lack of a safe space.
So Tito Jackson saw this as a political opportunity and he tweeted out how he’s got these kids’ backs and even used the hashtag #BlackAtBLS because he’s just hip like that. A student responded to him, and called out Marty Walsh for not being supportive, so Marty had to put this little poopsmooch in his place:
This is why I like Marty Walsh. Hey kids, you don’t fix things on Twitter. I know you think you’re being hip and cool because you’re all sharing this meaningless thing over and over again. But yea, that’s not gonna do shit. Only opportunistic morons like Tito Jackson think that. And in reality, he’s just using you because he knows you’ll be 18 when he makes a push for Walsh’s seat in two years. He’s not gonna do shit either.
Ya know why he’s not gonna do anything? Because you haven’t addressed a specific problem. All you have are unproven, undocumented anecdotes like these:
Yup, I’m sure your teacher said, “y’all look exactly alike.” I’m sure that DEFINITELY happened. Must be true because a kid wrote it on Twitter AND used a hashtag. People don’t fuck around with hashtags!! And yea, if your name is Precious, you shouldn’t be mad at people who are like, “what the fuck?” You should be mad at your mother for naming you after an adjective.
And Kylie Webster-Cazeau is a high school student who for some reason already has a LinkedIn account. She has a summer job working for the Boston Bar Association. In other words, she is being groomed and indoctrinated by adults for a career in activism. Because I’ll tell you right now, there’s no way an adult at her school EVER told her that the only reason she’d get into college is because she’s black. It’s just a lie she’s telling so she can have a reason to get her career in “activism” jumpstarted and toss some more stuff up on LinkedIn.
What other racist stuff is Mayor Walsh not doing enough to fix?
I don’t know how to describe you, you speak too white to be ghetto.” Seriously, how dumb do you actually have to be to think that a teacher said that to a student? I’m just curious. Because I’ll tell you right now, Tito Jackson knows that never actually happened. Because he knows teachers aren’t fucking idiots. They like their jobs and they don’t wanna lose it by saying something insanely dumb like that. But then again it’s easier just to pretend to believe a teenager who is obviously lying and use it as a tool to attack your political opponent.
This same thing happened in Worcester this past summer during the Department of Justice race discussions. Students handed out this flyer and it was used as a talking point:
Teachers never said any of those things except for the last one, which is harmless and only a PC dingbat would find a way to take offense to that. But yet adults at these discussions treated these things as if they happened, and hard working, dedicated WPS teachers were demonized without being able to defend themselves from pukey, little whining students who were being coerced by adults with agendas. The fact that we are allowing our teachers to have their credibility destroyed by a bunch of overprivileged high school kids is everything that is wrong with the state of public schools in 2016.
Ah yes, the ol’ I saw the “n” word in the bathroom scam. It started a campus wide movement at the University of Missouri, so it’s basically the go to play for faux outrage now. Hey kid, if you actually saw the “n” word in the girls bathroom, can we see the picture? We actually tweeted at this girl today asking if we could see a picture of it. She liked our Tweet, which means she read it. But we didn’t get a picture in return. Shocking.
And even if we did, how do we know who wrote it? Because in case you’re not familiar, there’s an entire genre of music that uses that word like it’s going out of style. And the PC police have deemed that people of certain racial compositions are allowed to use that word, while others are not. So how do we know who wrote it? Was it a racist, or just someone using a word that the PC police said they’re allowed to use?
Kylie Webster-Cazeau is also alleging that they gave the headmaster a folder full of printouts of their white classmates saying racist things on Twitter. They’re mad that she’s not doing anything about it. We found a couple of these things on the Twitter machine:
Ya see that kids? If you don’t like that this girl says she’s turning into a Nazi, just reassure yourself that you’re gonna be in college in three years and she’s gonna be getting dollar bills stuffer in her G-string at the Squire Loung in Revere. That’s just a dumbass teenager saying stupid things on social media.
But this is how free speech works Kylie. Welcome to America. If you don’t like what these kids are saying, you’re more than welcome to not follow them. But what they say outside of school on Twitter isn’t the business of your headmaster. Her job is not to make you feel like you have a safe space, contrary to what Tito Jackson is telling you:
Ya see that kids? That’s a lie a politician is telling you so you’ll vote for him in 2017. Adults know that there’s no such thing as a “safe space.” That’s just silly. Every time adults hear whiny college students say “safe space” we all laugh at them. Because it’s just that hilariously stupid.
Oh yea, and Tito Jackson is kind of…..rapey
Just your standard City Councilor showing up at a high school, hugging the 4% of the student body that happens to be black and female. Nothing to see here!!
If you really wanna bring the races together at Boston Latin, don’t have a “black out,” and don’t pose for pictures in the main foyer doing the black power salute:
Because what happens if a student chose not to wear black to school today? They’d be called a racist obviously. But guess what? Some people just wanna get their education and get the fuck out of high school, and that’s their right. By doing this you’re only further creating racial animosity.
Then there’s this:
See, this is the stuff that pisses me off. Attacking teachers. Teachers work their ass off every day and are some of the most under appreciated people in society. You have no idea how dedicated these people are to every kid’s education, and all this little buttnut is doing is whining about how the teacher allegedly didn’t realize she had switched seats with another student. Hey kid, why don’t you quit playing social experiments in class and actually listen to the teacher instead? How bout that? Nah, screw that. Let’s play musical chairs with the other black kid in class and see if the teacher notices. Then when she doesn’t we’ll call her a racist.
It’s just disgusting that a politician is endorsing this bullshit from kids. I don’t go to Boston Latin High School, but I know bullshit when I see it. And this is Grade A bullshit. This is just kids looking for a reason to get outraged about something and adults using them for personal gain. Just look at what my boy Tito is talking about:
Hey everyone, get a load of my charts over here!! Look, I fixed education and overcame poverty!! I’m like, the greatest thing that ever happened to public education, even though I have absolutely no idea how to create a lesson plan or differentiate instruction.
Ah yes, there it is. The ol, “white teachers can’t teach students of color” routine. Worcester also has a sexually inappropriate, race baiting Doherty High School vice principal who has been pushing that theory in this book he’s trying to sell.
Sure, Tito Jackson will tell you that he’s getting all fired up for you kids because he’s worried about you:
But at the end of the day he knows there’s nothing wrong and he just wants to make you feel special so you’ll vote for him. He’ll make your teachers go to diversity training (which a friend of his who works at a multi million dollar non-profit will get paid to teach), and he’ll tell them that “x” amount of black kids have to be in AP classes, and only “x” amount of black students can be suspended from school. But that’s just because he’s a politician who has absolutely no clue what he’s talking about and he doesn’t mind fucking up public education to get elected.
The bottom line is that people like Tito Jackson represent everything that is wrong with politics and education. Now Marty Walsh is gonna have to bend over backwards to accommodate this idiocy to prove that he’s not a racist, and the cycle will continue. Don’t worry though, Turtleboy will still be the only media outlet in Massachusetts that isn’t afraid to call out the obvious bullshit that we can all clearly see with our two eyes.
