Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. Everyone with a functional brain knows that white privilege is a myth. If you need a reminder why, then here’s 11 reasons. But white privilege has never been exposed quite like it was when CNN’s Areva Martin scored an own goal on herself by accusing a black guy (who she thought was white) of speaking from a position of white privilege. This conversation between her and Fox Nation’s David Webb, in which he explains to her that he got where he is today based on his merits, is one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever heard.
Black guy: “I considered my qualifications the issue.”
CNN: “That’s another long conversation about white privilege, and things that you have the privilege of doing that people of color don’t have the privilege of.”
Black guy: “How do I have the privilege of white privilege?”
CNN: “By virtue of being a white male you white privilege. We could have this whole long conversation but I don’t have time to get into it.”
Black guy: “Areva, I hate to break it to you, but you should’ve been better prepped – I’m black.”
And that right there is definitive proof that not only isn’t white privilege a real thing, but the people who complain about white privilege don’t think it’s real either.
She ASSUMED he was white because he’s on Fox Nation and he’s successful. She has set the bar so low for black people, that she ASSUMES they are incapable of achieving anything on their own because their lack of white privilege. She views people as part of a group, rather than as an individual, which is inherently racist in and of itself.
If you’re willing to assume that ANY successful person got to where they are because of white privilege, without doing ANY amount of research (like finding out that you’re talking to a black guy) to find out how they got to where they are, then you are incapable of having an adult discussion on anything. Your only card is the race card because you’re lazy and your opinions are so weak that they cannot be backed up by facts, because those facts don’t exist.
Keep in mind, this woman is employed by CNN, and despite being a world class moron, she still has risen to a position of relative influence, and has a comfortable job working for a well known “news” network. She obviously got her job because she checks off a couple diversity boxes, and she would not have gotten her job if she were a white male, thus completely debunking the notion that white privilege is a thing that exists in real life.
Plus, look who she’s friends with.
Maxine Waters. The most ratchet individual to ever serve in Congress. A woman who is friends with Louis Farrakhan and once encouraged people to form mobs at gas stations and grocery stores, and tell Republicans that they’re “not welcome here.”
This is who delivers “news” to the American people, and this is who Twitter elects to give blue checkmarks to.
Either way, this was the funniest shit I’ve heard in 2019. And as you can see from how hard she’s getting ratioed…..
….she will never, ever live this one down. She will ALWAYS be the chick who accused the black of having white privilege. And rightfully so.
