Wanna watch someone after they just got shot? How bout watching a Worcester hood rat run away from a cop and directly into a sea of other cops? Well, you can see it all in this collection of short videos from Worcester’s Latin American festival on Saturday:
The best part was right around the 30 second mark when the girl summed up the Latin Festival in 8 word:
“This is why we can’t have nice things.”

Just thought we’d point out that the Italian Festival was also taking place on Saturday. No one got shot and there were no gang fights. But according to the Worcester Police 18 people were arrested at the Latin Festival as part of a huge gang brawl. And you know what the best part is? No one is the least bit surprised. Pretty standard. Same time next year.

We disagree that you “can’t have too many minorities in one place for too long.” But then again, this Turtleboy is white, and we’ve been told many times that white people need to keep their opinions to themselves when it comes to issues of race.
Anyway, who’s paying for all this? The Italian and Greek festivals happen on private churches, and they fund the whole thing. But this is obviously taking place on Main Street, which requires crazy amounts of police details, plus they’re shutting down a public street.
Word is that Centro Los Americas fits the bill. Centro is another one of Worcester’s “non profits,” just like Mosaic Cultural Complex was. In other words, they are a taxpayer funded entity. Which means that the taxpayers pay for the Latin American festival. Of course the only reason we have this is because politicians who have lived in white neighborhoods their entire lives can score some diversity points and take a few pictures:

So yea, this thing needs to move to a private parking lot or it needs to end. Pretty simple. The City Council has the ability to do something about it, so we suggest they actually do their jobs instead of trying to ban Turtleboy from being discussed at City Council meetings.

So many things make this sad. Biggest one was the Denholm building in the background. Do any of you know Worcester history enough to know what downtown was like before the immigration of people who couldn’t pass the brown paper bag test? I wish I had been born earlier to see it. Shopping, store front displays, Christmas, fashion, just walking around…

I live in a place now that is 99.9999999% white and when we have a problem, it’s always a colored person or a while person that got involved with a colored person. Typically, it’s been a black kid recruited for the college football team who can’t stop “keepin it real” and not doing homework in the Communications program. I am looking to move to a 100% white place within the next 2-3 years because being there is basically poverty and crime free. There’s no handouts because your a black or Latino or poor. You work, you make money, you live well. I am educated, hard working and I don’t put up with giving my tax money to diversity because the diverse do nothing but take money. I want my money to help make the place I live beautiful and that’s what I’m living.
Basically, white folks don’t want this Latino shit. And we can still move away from it and just leave it to rot. Look at Detroit. Let Worcester rule itself, at least downtown, and let them be police free since they hate authority so much.

When me and my friends were growing up, we had aspirations to “be something” and for the most part, most of us grew up in pretty good shape. These people have no future, no dreams, no morals, just the gutter, ghetto life. What will they look like when they ‘grow up’ ? 30-40 yr old ghetto slugs if they live that long?
My suggestion is, walk along the railroad tracks, make sure there is a rail on either side , listening to rap, until the inevitable happens WHAM over and done, problem solved, and nobody will miss them
