Source: The Pembroke Pines police chief demanded – and quickly received – an apology Wednesday from the Arby’s restaurant chain after one of the city’s uniformed officers was denied service “due to being a police officer.”
“I am offended and appalled that an individual within our community would treat a police officer in such a manner,” Chief Dan Giustino said in a news release issued Wednesday morning. “It is unacceptable, and I will be contacting the Arby’s CEO to demand an apology.”
Less than two hours after that release went out, police said Giustino had contacted Arby’s by phone. “Immediately following, Arby’s Chief Executive Officer Paul Brown, and Senior Vice President of Operations Scott Boatwright, contacted Chief Giustino to convey their sincere apologizes on behalf of their organization,” police said.
“Both gentlemen assured Chief Giustino that the employee’s behavior was unacceptable and not representative of the company’s values. Chief Giustino was appreciative and accepted their apology and now considers this matter closed.”
See that? This is why they got rid of that Arby’s on Park Ave and there’s five million people lining up down the street and causing traffic at the Popeye’s every day.
Look, everyone with a brain knows that this was bound to happen. We’ve got police officers everywhere getting assassinated for wearing the uniform, you think they’re afraid to deny them a roast beef sandwich? I we’ve got hippies blocking streets and taking over presidential candidate’s rallies while spouting the same song and dance rhetoric that police are trained to kill unarmed black men. Society created this monster by letting these idiots think that they’re participating in the democratic process by protesting. They’re not. They’re terrorists. Always have been, always will be. They’re a hate group, plain and simple.
And if I were to guess what state this would happen in first, obviously I’d lay down a lot of money on Florida. Because Florida only exists for our amusement. If we had a Miami chapter of Turtleboy Sports we’d be millionaires by now.
And Pembroke Pines, a city about the size of Worcester, is in the most magical of all the Florida counties – Broward County. Don’t forget, Broward County was the reason it took two months to figure out who won the 2000 Presidential election. That’s because 1,800 buttnuts there couldn’t follow basic directions when casting their ballot. Ya see in Broward County you had to punch a piece of paper all the way through or else the machine didn’t read it.
Well 1,800 of Broward County’s finest must’ve stopped halfway through because their hands were covered in Arby’s grease, and they didn’t feel like washing them. The result was that 1,800 “hanging chads” had to be scrutinized by three biased officials, who had to determine what the “intent” of the voter was. Naturally they bickered and never reached a conclusion, so the Supreme Court had to decide for them. Because, Florida.
Anyways, Arby’s sucks. That Arby’s on Park Ave has been there as long as I can remember, and I don’t think I ever once had any desire to go there. Their buns are covered in onions, and it’s way too expensive for fast food. Plus, when I’m trying to eat and run, all I want is a burger patty or nuggets. But Arby’s tries to get too fancy with their “roast beef” and fancy rolls. Hey Arby’s, either you’re fast food or you’re not. Pick one.
