Just to see what would happen we called up the Dudley District Courthouse today to see if cop killer Jorge Zambrano’s brother’s girlfriend was working at her job in the probation office. And what do ya know? She’s not there today!!! Shocking. They said she’d be back Tuesday. Surprised she has personal days to spare with all the vacations and trips to Florida she’s gone on with Giancarlo Zambrano’s money.

Anyway, Masslive was the only media outlet to point out that this story wouldn’t exist without Turtleboy Sports. So we’ll link them. They reported this hilarious little tidbit:

Worcester Police heard discussions on wiretaps of individuals saying they had received helpful information from “Ashley L,” according to the report. One conversation discussed contacting her to get information on their case, while another states he saw “Shorty” in court and she gave him a signal he was going to be all right. Police said “Shorty” was a moniker for Losapio.

HAHAHHAHA. Shorty. Priceless. Of course that was her street name. Goddamn SHORTY!!! Think of that. This girl is the daughter of a freaking JUDGE!!! She went to catholic school!!! And despite all that relative privilege she enjoyed, she grew up to be known as “Shorty” to a bunch of criminals.

Seriously, Paul Losapio’s gotta be thinking, “what the hell did I do wrong?” She’s supposed to be a trophy wife for a doctor, not for some shady dooshnozzle from Miami named Giancarlo.

According to the Turtlegram’s interview with Smashley’s lawyer Ed Ryan, she didn’t know nothing!:

“She (Ms. Losapio) had absolutely no involvement with the Zambrano matter. She has never spoken to (Jorge) Zambrano, the fellow that executed the police officer, and has no involvement with him whatsoever. No one has contacted me with regard to any investigation. I fully expect her to go to court on Tuesday and perform her duties as a probation officer. My client has her name being brought into this for absolutely no good reason and she has absolutely nothing to do with it.”

Absolutely no good reason? Check page 298 of the Ware Report. Ya know, the investigation into the probation department that revealed that Smashley was using her position in the probation officer for illegal things:

According to investigators, Ms. Losapio allegedly admitted during the interview that she was acquainted with people identified by police as violent offenders and involved in the drug trade. They said the names and phone numbers of those offenders were found in Ms. Losapio’s personal cell phone contact list. During their investigation, Capt. McGinn said, police learned that Ms. Losapio allegedly had provided one of those offenders with information about the location of a woman. The individual needed the location so that the woman’s car could be repossessed.

And this:

“During our interview with the Worcester Police, they stated that they believe Losapio notified her criminal associates when witnesses might be testifying before the grand jury and, as a result, they appeared at the courthouse to intimidate witnesses. They also stated that Losapio used Probation Department databases to locate an individual owing money to a used car dealer, whom they believe was subsequently accosted by Losapio’s criminal associates.”

Yup, nothing wrong with that!!!

According to Paul Ware, the special investigator who was paid to compile this gigantic report, he concluded that she should have been fired. But instead she not only kept her job, but she got moved to Westborough District Court where she also got a $3,000 raise!!!

This happened eight years ago, which means she was 23 years old when it happened. Do you realize how easy it is to cut bait with a 23 year old? It’s not like some old timer who’s been there forever. She literally just started, and the second she got her job she was doing shady things.

Think about that for a minute. She got away with something that NO ONE would normally get away with. She got a second chance to start fresh. Make some new friends. Turn her life around. But what does she do? She goes right back to being a gangsta pass around. Anyone with common sense stays as far away from people like Giancarlo Zambrano as possible. Obviously she did not learn her lesson.

You gotta blame Paul Losapio for this too. Granted he can’t control his stepdaughter because she’s an adult. But are you trying to tell me Losapio never met Giancarlo? Are you trying to tell me that he couldn’t Google him and find his many court appearances or extremely shady non-licensed contracting business? Are you telling me that he continued to be cool with the fact that she seems to exclusively associate herself with known criminals while continuing to work for the probation department? Because common sense tells you that his influence was used to allow her to keep her job. Wouldn’t he demand that she get her act together after she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar the first time? Anyone else would have been fired on the spot AND prosecuted. Not Smashley though. She got a raise.

Since we’ve written this article we’ve gotten dozens of messages and emails from people who have dealt with Smashley in the past. All of them say the same thing – thank you for calling her out. Many have told us that “the judge card” has been in play since high school. No matter how big a scumbag we’ve written about, there are ALWAYS people lined up to support them in the comments section. But we have not heard a word in support of Smashley. That silence speaks volumes.

Honestly, I’m wondering if she’ll be in Tuesday. I don’t know how she can ever face the music and go in there again after hundreds of thousands of people read our story about her. You gotta think that with Charlie Baker looking into this now it’s only a matter of time until they can her. Better off quitting than getting fired. Either way, we’ve got a headstone waiting in the Turtleboy graveyard.

P.S. Word is the funeral for Jorge Zambrano was also today. Was Smashley there? She’d be a pretty shitty girlfriend if she wasn’t. Just sayin.
