Most of the news that’s been coming out of Baltimore has been bad news. The unnecessary death of Freddie Grey, rioting, looting, assaulting police officers. All of it sucks. But the one good piece of news to come out of Baltimore yesterday is Turtelboy’s candidate for mother of the year. Most of you have probably seen this video by now because it’s been all over the news, but obviously we need to talk about this:
God bless you angry Mom. You’re way better at parenting than Namond Brice’s Mom!! Kids do dumb things. We all know that. Especially boys. I was kind of hoping Turtleboy Jr. would be a girl when he was born because boys are walking death machines. At least 90% of adult males have been in a situation from their younger years in which they probably should’ve died. Because that’s what teenage boys do – make stupid, reckless decisions. Like joining a mob.
Look, one of the biggest problems here that the hippies will deny, is a lack of parenting. We’re raising a generation of kids who apparently think it’s OK to violate our laws and cause mayhem. It was refreshing to watch this Mom go all old school on her dooshnozzle son. Because she loves him, and she knows that he’s putting himself in danger by being out there.
Yet I don’t hear anyone ever blaming the parents of Michael Brown or Freddie Grey, for raising young men who think it’s OK to attack police officers and flagrantly commit crimes. The protester crowd is only looking at the net result – a dead African-American male – instead of addressing the root causes of this.
These young men aren’t dying because of racism, they’re dying because they apparently think breaking the laws is a birthright that comes with no consequences. And instead of their parents laying the smackdown like Momma Baltimore – they’re blaming the police, teachers, and everyone else besides themselves.
Just like everyone else, I’m sick of rogue police officers not doing their job properly and giving these people ammunition to riot. If the procedure was to buckle Freddie Grey into his seat in the police van, then that’s what should’ve happened. You’re paid to be professional, and you need to act like it.
But then again I am not a Baltimore police officer. And quite frankly, from what I’ve seen in the past 48 hours, I don’t think it’s fair for anyone to put themselves in the shoes of the Baltimore PD, because NONE of us has a job comparable to what they do.
Have you seen what they’re dealing with? People are literally throwing burning barrels full of trash at the police. That fire at CVS looked like Andre Rison’s home after he cheated on Left Eye. People in the crowd were essentially anonymous. Any of them could’ve tried to be a hero and shoot a cop. None of us knows what it’s like to deal with that type of stress on a daily basis.
We’ve seen people smashing and burning police cars and attacking civilians, including this woman in a wheel chair:
Yet I’m watching politicians on TV preface every statement about this with, “people are angry, people are upset.” Newsflash – I don’t give a fuck if you’re upset or not. This is America. We have due process here. This is not the wild west. This doesn’t help you win any support from anyone. It only marginalizes people who would be inclined to support…..whatever it is you’re trying to do.
The bottom line is we need less enablers and more angry Baltimore Moms.

And what is wrong with using the word Thug to describe a coat-tail ridding group of individuals that take advantage of what was supposed to be a peaceful protest for citizens to vent their issues against government? This is the one and only thing Obama got right when describing these criminals in Baltimore. Thugs are exactly what that group of mostly disillusioned teens / 20 somethings were conducting themselves, as we saw in many instances in our country recently, and literally blew the whole message about the alleged legitimacy of oppression and grievances against those less fortunate and struggling opposing the local, state and federal government in particular law enforcement. You “Thugs” fucked that whole thing up. Congratu-fucking-lations. Nice job and I hope your free stolen Samsung HD TV that you looted has a great fucking picture because in the BIG picture that was one step forward and ten steps back. This ruins the whole anti-whateverthefuck you’re bitching about’s creditability.

According to reports from the Washington Post- Freddie Gray was irate and intentionally trying to injure himself insde the van.
She should be the Mayor.
In MA she would have been arrested for child abuse.
She’ll be brought up on child abuse charges after the riots are over.
What is up with the misuse of the word hippie on your blog turtleboy? Whenever you use the word hippie, it’s not describing anyone who is an actual hippie. I’m a hippie who is a parent and my child will not get away with this crap. There is no lack of parenting in the hippie world. It might be a little more peaceful and laid back – but we don’t raise our kids to be disrespectful criminals.
Because Baltimore Angry Mom knows right from wrong, has morals, integrity and is trying to teach this to her unfortunate disillusioned son who just happened to get caught up in a bad situation with bad people. This is not rocket science. It’s common sense. Their needs to be more parents and Moms like Baltimore Angry Mom to take control of a predominant youth movement that somehow believes it is ok to become a domestic terrorist / civil disobedient person and create chaos to everyday people trying to live their respective lives. This shit needs to stop.
BUT, at the same time, isn’t this just more violence? Are the black folks not just “moms” to the cops or small businesses and such? I’m not condoning any of this rioting but…how is the mom better than the kid on the street throwing rocks at cops?
No one is getting hurt by her “violence”. The kid will learn a lesson, get embarrassed in front of his friends and be better for it. Nobody is better for it after a riot…except for the looters.
The Mom isn’t Amish so imposing a non-violence, Amish religion standard on her won’t work for her and her son. You’re looking at things using a rule that says all violence is bad; a universal rule of non-violence, no exceptions.
The mom is better than the kid on the street throwing rocks at cops because the two situations are different. Different situations with different rules to the game.
The cop vs. thug game has simple rules.
Thug threatens cop; cop takes out gun in response.
Thug threatens cop with potential injury to cop or bystander; cop shoots thug in response.
The angry mom knew her son was doing more than the usual misbehaving. Her son was dead wrong in what he was doing AND she knew that her son was playing the cop vs. thug game.
The mom put herself in jeopardy to drag her kid out of there. In a riot anybody can get hurt. The mom was justified in her actions; she didn’t beat her kid to death with a club. She was pretty ticked off but stayed within reasonable limits.
The people at the CVS didn’t do anything to warrant an attack on their store. There is no justification for the looting or destruction of any of the property.
Oh so now its ok!!!
I think they should take the police out of that town and let them burn it down, empty all the stores and fend for themselves…I am sure they already know that the government will rebuild their city because it’s okay to act like animals that have rabies everytime a person dies in police custody.
Everyone’s praising angry mom – and I’m glad she’s laying the smack down on him…
…but if she truly were mother of the year he wouldn’t be in this situation in the first place. Too little too late if you ask me.

Obama should hand over his Nobel Peace Prize to her. She is fine example of what parents should be doing with their kids. Watching over them and letting them know when they step out of line. No cops required. No city services. Mom handled her kid.
