So Uncle Turtleboy wrote one of his epic angry blogs earlier this week about how to deal with bullies. Here’s a quick recap of the blog:
- Woman posts whiny, virtue signaling post on Foxboro community Facebook group about how she’s moving from the town because her biracial daughter allegedly saw the n word written on a bathroom stall, and it was directed towards her, which could only happen if the person who wrote it knew she’d be popping a squat in that stall.
- The girl never took a picture of it, and Mom never told administration. Instead she posted on a Facebook group which does nothing except elicit sympathy.
- Uncle Turtleboy basically wrote a blog giving the girl advice on what she should’ve done by showing her how he handled a much, much more direct and serious death threat after the entire town of Holden received a flier in the mail from Mike Gaffney accusing him of sexualizing children.
- Running away doesn’t solve anything. Plus, all of the towns near Foxboro have no diversity, so moving anywhere but Brockton is gonna be the same kind of crowd.
- No one moves to Brockton for the public schools. It was all just attention seeking behavior.
The Clarence Woods Emerson account, which him and NSTB and SSTG and a couple others have access to, was a member of that group, not that it matters because it’s completely open and anyone can see it. It was completely fair and pointed out a major problem in modern day parenting – the rush to victimize yourself instead of teaching your kid to stand up for themselves. That and the fact that it probably never happened in the first place.
Anyway, there was some blowback from the Becky Snatcher admin Nazi and it looks like Clarence has been outed!!
Well, I found a FDG member who works for TBS, removed and blocked him. I’ve searched many other names associated with TBS and this is the only one I could find at this point, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anyone else.
Oh hunny, this isn’t it.
I’m still in your stupid group and you have no idea who I am. You can’t block Turtleboy. We are everywhere. If you try to purge your group of Turtleboy moles you’re gonna have a bad time, because most normal people like Turtleboy and agreed with the common sense take in the blog. They’re just too afraid to say it publicly because they don’t want to get kicked out of your group. But they’re all thinking it and nodding their heads while reading this. Although I do love a good Turtleboy moles purge. Plus, your group is completely wide open, so you don’t have to be a member to read it all. Blocking Clarence is probably the least effective thing you’ve ever done in your life.
I am truly sorry members of Foxboro Discussion Group were used in such a despicable, misleading, manner.
Nothing about the post was misleading. It was really good advice about what to do if someone says mean things to you.
I’m pissed that someone would use our community’s willingness to discuss subjects, and support each other, especially by an outside hack who could care less about Foxboro.
There was literally zero discussion going on. It was a woman posting an unconfirmed anecdote for attention and pity, and then hundreds of people posting meaningless virtue bombs to the effect of, “That’s so horrible, racism has no place in Foxboro,” as they sit in their all white cul-de-sac neighborhoods that people of color have been priced out of.
TBS is a horribly destructive, negative and racist Blog/Website.
When you lack facts, just make shit up, amirite? Name one racist thing we’ve ever published. Just one. I’ll wait. And it’s gotta be real racism too, not the usual, “everything I disagree with is racist.”
Newsflash Traci – you chose to live in Foxboro. A town where 4% of the population is black. Try to find the black friend that Traci has in her hundreds of pictures on Facebook. Spoiler alert – they don’t exist. It’s like playing Where’s Waldo with the Bernstein Bears. Living in a predominantly white town does not make you a racist. But you can always spot the racist in these towns because they’re the ones calling other white people racist. This is commonly known as “projecting,” and it’s what you do when you know you’re a racist, but you want to make people look at someone else instead of you.
I don’t read them, but have had personal knowledge with the subjects of three of their articles and all three contained slanted half-truths that caused unwarranted negative attention towards innocent people
If you know three different people who have been in three different Turtleboy articles, then you need to pick better friends. We’ve never blogged about anyone who’s innocent, and we only post documented and verifiable facts, which is why the Washington Post and Boston Globe regularly use Turtleboy as a source.
All these simple minded clams care about is living in an echo chamber. They are incapable of independent thought, don’t like to have their narratives challenged, and think we all live in Worcester.
Actually babe, I had the misfortune of living in Lawrence. You wouldn’t like it – too many icky brown people. There aren’t enough pearls to clutch for racists like you to live here.
To show you how much these people desire an echo chamber, watch what happens when someone with a functional brain is like, “I kind of agree with the points being made in that common sense blog.”
I don’t think you should be using that article to form an opinion.
Translation – how dare you think for yourself! How dare you type anything except, “We have to stand up to hate!” How dare you be interesting!
…the things you just stated are false.
Ummm….the things he just stated are opinion. That’s why he said, “in my opinion.”
I find it disturbing that you are defending it after the racist rude content.
Translation – I cannot comprehend how you or anyone else could by typing anything other than, “I am SOOO sorry, and so angry, because I totes hate racism!!!” It’s racist because I said it’s racist!! And anyone who disagrees with that is also a racist!!
Then the OP chimed in:
Yea, fuck her. I kind of reserved judgement about whether or not she was lying at first. Then I saw her baselessly call us “racial hate,” so it’s clear she’s willing to lie about racism in order to get cheap likes. She definitely made that whole thing up.
Anyone, Traci’s still planning on how she’s keeping me and others out:
Please, please, please spend your entire weekend going through all the members, leading to a Salem Witch Trial-esque purging where tons of innocent people get accused of being Turtleboy. I love when that happens. But even if you do find me (you won’t) keep in mind that most people in your group secretly read and enjoy Turtleboy, so we’re still gonna get juicy gossip whenever it comes up.
