CBC News: Members of the Black Lives Matter Toronto group briefly halted the Pride parade today, holding up the marching for about 30 minutes. The parade didn’t re-start until after Pride Toronto executive director Mathieu Chantelois signed a document agreeing to the group’s demands. The organization was given the status of Honoured Group for the parade, which is the grand finale of Pride Month. It did not give Pride Toronto advance notice of their planned sit-in.
Alexandra Williams, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto, told CBC’s Natasha Fatah that they held the sit-in because they wanted to hold Pride Toronto accountable for what she called “anti-blackness.”
“It’s always the appropriate time to make sure folks know about the marginalization of black people, of black queer youth, black trans youth, of black trans people,” she said. “We are not taking any space away from any folks. When we talk about homophobia, transphobia, we go through that too … It should be a cohesive unit, not one against the other. Anti-blackness needs to be addressed and they can be addressed at the same time, in the same spaces,” she said.
The group released a list of demands, including a commitment to increase representation among Pride Toronto staff, and to prioritize the hiring of black transgender women and indigenous people. Some of the other demands Chantelois agreed to are that the parade will no longer have police floats, and the organization will hold a public town hall with groups such as Black Lives Matter Toronto within six months.
Pride Toronto, in response to the sit-in, said it welcomes the opportunity to “continue the conversation” with Black Lives Matter Toronto.
“During the parade, BLM-TO started a conversation with us to explore how we can create an even more inclusive and safe festival. We, like BLM-TO have a commitment to ensure our most marginalized communities feel safe and welcome at the festival.”

Is just one of 15 people on the Toronto Pride’s board of directors, and he has no say in the matter. The signature was meaningless, and it will get voted down by the board, because they actually enjoy working with the police. Ya know, because cops protect them from getting beaten up by homophobes.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – black lives matter is a terrorist group. I dare anyone to say otherwise. This is gang activity. It’s an organized group of people who break the law and use fear and intimidation to gain power. That’s what gangs do.
Ya know who wouldn’t have been able to issue a list of demands to the organizers of the gay pride parade in Toronto? A group called “white lives matter.” But wait, I thought white privilege gave REAL societal advantages to crackers. So confused right now. Are you telling me that white privilege isn’t actually a real thing, and you get special privileges afforded to you if you are part of the black lives matter terrorist group? Mind blown.
It’s about them, because it always MUST be about them. When the terrorist attacks happened in Paris the black lives matter nudniks from Missouri were whining that no one was feeling bad for them anymore. They can’t stand when other people get attention. The cameras must ALWAYS be on them.
Black lives matter doesn’t give a shit about black lives. They never have. Their entire existence revolves around being anti-police. They are anarchist loser leftovers from Occupy Wall Street, and they showed it today. Why would one of of their “demands” be no more cops in the gay pride parade? If the cops are there, doesn’t that mean they’re supporting gay rights? Why is that problematic?
Oh yea, because they don’t want the cops to build relationships with the community. Black lives matter wants people to believe that cops are homophobic pieces of garbage like them. And the best way to do that is to keep them from the parade. But here’s the problem – the cops met with organizers of Toronto Pride a couple weeks ago, because they wanted to make sure their parade was not threatened after the Orlando attacks:

The best part is that BLM was the honorary guest of this parade, and they didn’t even have the decency to let the parade organizers know that they were going to pull this stunt. Because…fuck you, that’s why!!
And of course the Pride organizers gave in, because they are the biggest frauds of them all. What a bunch of gutless naniburgers. Anyone with a set of balls on them tells these assholes to fuck right off. But because the Pride organizers are nothing more than a band of social justice warrior, white guilt-laden Canadians, they signed onto this list of demands so that these terrorists would LET them march through the streets of Toronto. Because you MUST get the permission of a gang of terrorists before you celebrate pride in your sexuality.
Seriously, the parade is called “Pride.” But what is there to be proud of? You’re only having the parade because you gave into the demands of a bunch of losers who don’t like the fact that some gay people are white, and many of them have no beef with police officers. You literally had to sell out and send a middle finger to the police in order to celebrate your sexuality. If this is something you take pride in then you are a loser.
Turtleboy is fully in support of gay people and their right to do whatever the hell they wanna do. Murica. But our problem with the Pride folks is that their leaders aren’t concerned with their best interests. They are nothing more than career social justice warriors who want to pose for photo ops, wave the rainbow flag, and dress up weirdly. The fact that they have been so silent on the dangers of radical Islamic migration to their community, proves this.
And what the hell does this have to do with being gay?
Gay people are regular people. They have regular jobs and live in regular homes. So why does every gay pride parade have to be a competitive freak show? You want people to take you seriously so you dress up like a bunch of erotic power rangers? Yea, that makes sense.
If there was one group that everyone would rally behind if they stood up to these idiots, it’s gay people. Forty nine people were just massacred in Orlando for being who they are. This day was about them and it was stolen from them by a bunch of children. If a bunch of gay dudes came over and beat the shit out of every single one of them, everyone would cheer.
But instead they cowered and gave in, because that’s easier than standing up to bullies. The radical left is eating itself, and eventually liberals are gonna have to pick a side. Either you’re with gay people, or you’re with the people who are REALLY oppressing them. You don’t get to do both anymore, thanks to black lives matter Toronto.
Normal gay people need to take their movement back. We highly suggest they rally behind our boy Milo, because unlike the fraudulent social justice warriors who gave into the demands of terrorists today, Milo actually stands up for what he believes in and wants what is best for gay people.

What is black lives matter even doing in Canada? Shut it down!
I think when blm activists call the police they should have to identify themselves as such so police can respond in a timely manner…. 35 minutes later or not at all. Hate cops so much? Be sure not to call!

I would be interested to know, from a gay person, why the need for parades to celebrate you gay-ness? Im being serious, what is the point to shove it in everyone’s face, can’t you just go along, be gay and live your lives like other people do? Nobody else has a parade to celebrate, for example, we’re heterosexual, and no need to display it to the world. I honestly don’t get it. Unless you are a gay black man you could never understand our conundrum these sorts of events puts us in. On one hand you want to show your gay pride and march but on the other hand you want to shut down the streets and be heard in protest. So at the end of the day you are torn between your gayness and your blackness. It’s a constant struggle. All the while being oppressed by the white devils in blue uniforms.

In my humble opinion I could not disagree more. I think that if BLM wasn’t a racist hate filled organization they would have Marched in solidarity with the Gay Pride Day Parade instead of disrupted it by stopping & protesting it. BLM won’t go to Gang Area’s and protest when Gang Members lead a little boy boy down an ally & shoot him in the head for payback, but they will protest a peaceful gay pride parade, when this community just suffered a horrific event. BLM does not support they just want headlines. If BLM was serious about there cause they would resolve the issues in there own communities with Gangs, Gang violence & maybe just maybe the Police wouldn’t have to go to these areas knowing that a better part of the males 15-35 are carrying illegal guns. The police job is to stop crime & criminals & go how alive not give there lives cause it MAY OR MAY NOT be a toy gun. If BLM wanted to stop crime & change the world they would look at them selves, police there own communities, act in a manner which there mothers would be proud. Jay sayin….

I never see any BLM people in front of planned parenthood. I never see any BLM members protesting in their own communities about black on black crime. Where are BLM members in support of black owned businesses? Oh, I’m sorry – they get looted during riots that are supposedly happening to create a “movement” for black lives matter. Essentially, black lives only matter when white people are on the other side of that fence. Any other scenario doesn’t matter to them because it’s not “racist” enough for their agenda.
