All the buzz in the last 48 hours has been in Charlotte, where “peaceful protesters” are burning everything and attacking cops because they believed a lie that a black man named Keith Scott was shot by police while reading a book and waiting for his kid’s to be dropped off by the school bus. Turns out the whole thing was a lie. He didn’t have a book, he had a gun:
Chief Kerr Putney said Scott posed a threat because officers saw him exit a vehicle twice with a the gun and didn’t drop it when police ordered him to do so. WSCO said Chief Putney said he saw some of the video from the scene, but not all of it.

This peaceful man also had a lengthy arrest record, with charges including “felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and misdemeanors assault on a child under 12, assault on a female and communicating threats.”
It doesn’t matter if it’s true or not. The mob believes what they want to believe because they’re looking for a reason to be victims, because without being victimized then they don’t have a reason to protest. And they based their outrage all on the testimony of his lovely family members
According to his daughter,
“The police just shot my daddy four times for being black,” she says. “They Tased him first and then shot him.”
They shot him for being black. Except as it turns out the cop who shot him is a black man, and a highly decorated police officer named Brentley Vinson.
A black man shot another black man for being black? Yup, that makes TONS of sense. Oh yea, and chief of police is also black because…..institutional racism.

Sure, she wasn’t there and has no idea what she’s talking about. But that shouldn’t stop her account of the story from being believed.
Now that the facts have come out and proved that there was no book, Keith Scott brandished a gun at police officers, he was told to put the gun away, and then when he refused to do so he was shot, the protesters have admitted that the shooting was justified. LOL. Just kidding. Facts don’t matter to protesters. Instead they’ve decided to do what they do best – block highways and light shit on fire:

This is the black lives matter movement in a nutshell. Facts are irrelevant. Lies are preferred. Destroying property, beating up innocent people because of the color of their skin, and blocking highways are the only ways to gain social justice from imaginary oppression. Career criminals who pull guns on cops and don’t do as they’re ordered to do are really dedicated fathers randomly reading books in their cars. I mean, come on now, that’s not even a believable lie. Might as well have said he was on his way to the hospital to deliver the cancer vaccine he just invented. Black lives matter continues to be nothing more than a violent, terrorist, hate group that gets a free pass because they’ve convinced dumb white people from the burbs that their cause is legitimate. This is what Colin Kaepernick and the Doherty High School football team are taking a knee for. These savages.

I am so angry that NC has not called out the National Guard and shut this down ASAP. Looting, marching around with pants hanging down (saw one photo of thugs attacking a car – one guy’s saggy pants had actually fallen down and he was standing in his boxers), supporting the poster board industry with their stupid slogan signs…that is all par for the course and bad enough, but then they started throwing objects off overpasses onto I-85 (a major thoroughfare).
There is a right to assemble…there is NOT a right to start anarchy.
