Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Check out the latest viral alleged hate crime out of Boston College.
I know what a lot of you are probably thinking – fake hate crime. I could hardly fault anyone whose initial reaction to such blatantly racist behavior was to be skeptical, especially in light of the seemingly never ending sea of fake hate crimes that have occurred locally.
Before we go any further, let’s just look at this statement from the “Black Student Forum,” which seems to be an organization that discriminates based on the color of your skin. Here’s some things they said that are just dumb:
“They continue to act behind a guise of post racialism yet as this hate crime illustrates, white supremacy still exist at BC.”
White supremacy exists at BC because one student, who is unknown at this point, wrote the n word a bunch of times. Yup, that makes sense. One racist person operating under the cover of darkness = white supremacy. This is just so stupid it makes my head hurt. No moron, white supremacy would mean that the University condones this type of behavior, which of course is the exact opposite reaction we all know the school will have to this, regardless of whether or not it’s legit.
“These kinds of acts are nothing short of traumatic and malicious.”
Traumatic? Worst case scenario some idiot tried to get a rise out of everyone by writing a racial slur in a public place. It’s a fucking word. You erase it and it’s gone. Anyone who is traumatized by a word has no business being in an institution of higher learning. Ya know who’s traumatized? Firefighters, paramedics, cops, nurses, doctors, soldiers, and other people who routinely witness people die. Try living with that and then come talk to me about how a word commonly used in most rap music traumatized you.
“Tonight at 6pm in the Vandy Cabaret room there will be a safe space for Black students to discuss what occurred.”
The second you mention the words “safe space” you officially become a joke.
With that said, it appears that this is not a fake hate crime. How do we know this? Because according to the school and the Boston Globe, the individual responsible has been caught, and he is in fact a crazy person who is getting psychiatric evaluation right now.
Here’s what this proves:
- This is a completely insane person. They discharged a fire extinguisher for no reason, wrote this shit everywhere, and then assaulted a campus cop when they were caught. This has nothing to do with widespread racism or white supremacy. It’s just a crazy person doing crazy people things.
- The fact that they caught this guy so quickly, only further validates that the rest of the hate crimes that have been reported locally are indeed fake. You know who’s never been caught? The kid who wrote the threatening note to the Muslim girl in Framingham. The student who wrote racist graffiti all over dorm room doors at Westfield State. The student who wrote “hang n words” in the bathroom at Melville Hall at UMass. The racist who threw the hatchet (that disappeared) at a kid getting off his bus in North Brookfield. Seriously, look at all the hate crimes we blogged about. Not ONE of them has been solved. Not one. Yet this one was solved within hours. Because when someone commits an actual hate crime, it’s pretty easy to find the culprit. Criminals talk, they leave behind evidence, they’re not smart, and they’re easy to catch. This incident only further validates everything we’ve ever said.
I have two questions though:
- Why is only the Globe covering this? Kind of odd that the newspaper most notorious for race baiting is the only one who found this newsworthy.
- Why haven’t they said the name of the student if he was indeed arrested? Wouldn’t they want to make an example of this student to show how intolerant they will be for intolerance?
