Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship.
The Lucy Parsons Project is a non-profit in Jamaica Plain. On their website they advertise themselves as,
The Lucy Parsons Center is an independent, non-profit, radical bookstore and community space. We are run collectively by our volunteers—no bosses, no pay. We are kept alive by dedicated volunteers who contribute their time to keeping this project on its feet. Read more about our collective or sign up to volunteer and get involved if you are interested!
Lucy Parsons Center INC is a registered non-profit, with over $200,000 in net assets according to their 2015 tax return.
According to this write upon WBRU they have a lot of books celebrating violence, radicalizing their customers to try to reclaim their identities by using violence:
Kyle was traveling with her sister and a friend. At Lucy Parsons, she said, she noticed a lot of books about violence, especially in Latin American countries, and how “violence might be a way of reclaiming identities.”
Obviously then they celebrate cop killers like Assata Shakur:
They do, since the center’s publications endorse fighting discrimination and injustice, as well as its radical and countercultural views. Artwork includes a “Refugees Are Welcomed Here” poster on the entrance and, on one wall, above a transgender-friendly illustration, a row of vintage revolutionary posters, including one declaring, “Assata Shakur Is Free.”
So it’s probably not surprising that they have signs like this hanging in their storefront:
“Cops Rest in piss.”
This is a non-profit that likely gets significant amounts of money from state and federal grants, because they say the right buzzwords and open wide for liberal politicians to feed them. Who cares if they’re putting up tombstones for cops on their windows? Who cares if they’re encouraging violence inside and celebrating cop killers? As long as you’re pro- BLT-123 and denounce white nationalism you’re worth giving money to.
Remarkably they have no public board listed online anywhere. They do however have a Facebook page and a phone number: 617-522-6098. Do NOT call that phone number!!
On their Facebook page they’re starting to receive some one star reviews, which is bringing out some of their defenders:
JerDore Aurora Williams is at the store every day. This is the crowd they’re catering to:
This is what your tax dollars go towards. Her and him:
Oh good, an Antifa chud who lectures people about how voting for the candidate they don’t like means we want Jews to die. Seems reasonable.
They weren’t the only people defending this place, which is clearly advocating for the death of police officers:
As someone else pointed out, Gabriel Sobalvarro is what it would look like if a queef had a face.
Not sure how many genders that thing is, but I’m sure they’re all made up.
Isadora Strouthos and Shoshanna Lee van Leeuwen to be two of the ringleaders.
Comrades don’t call cops, they call fellow comrades. The problem is that unless comrade’s Mom is home they’re gonna have a hard time getting there in time to save their fellow comrade.
Shoshanna is actively pursuing a career as a folk singer. Feel free to listen to her greatest hits. You’d be the first.
Jay Scheide is a volunteer at this cop-hating, taxpayer funded establishment.
So yea, I would love to hear from Marty Walsh about this. What does he think of this “non-profit” advocating violence against police officers doing business in the heart of Jamaica Plain? Send him an email and ask: MAYOR@BOSTON.GOV.
