A clear message was sent in Worcester District Court today – if you ever commit a crime and are going on trial, kill everyone. That’s honestly the best advice a lawyer could give you at this point, thanks to today’s brilliant not guilty verdict for Chad Easter. Mr. Easter was on trial for the armed home invasion in the Columbus Park neighborhood in November of 2013. The two people whose home he invaded (Alex Lora and Jessica McKeon) were rumored to be drug dealers, and more than likely he was there to rob them.
Unfortunately Mr. Lora and Ms. McKeon could not testify against Chad Easter because they were murdered on March 10 at another apartment on Forbes Street. Mr. Easter’s rented car was spotted by police license plate detectors less than a quarter mile from the house, just minutes before the murders took place.
Yet Judge Janet “let you walk” Kenton-Walker decided that this could not be brought up in the trial for the home invasion because there wasn’t enough evidence to tie Chad Easter to the murders.
Even though he’s from BOSTON, has no reason to be renting a car in Worcester, and was right near the apartment when the murder took place. So here’s what the jury had to go on:
Prosecutors alleged that Mr. Easter, an ironworker whose fingerprints were recovered by police in the apartment, was one of the couple’s assailants. Testifying in his own defense Thursday, Mr. Easter admitted being in the apartment on the morning in question, but denied he was there to commit a home invasion. He told the jury he went alone to the Circuit Avenue East address to collect a $1,000 loan he had made to Javier Pagan, who lived downstairs from Ms. McKeon and Mr. Lora. Mr. Easter testified that an argument ensued after Mr. Pagan paid him back only $600. He said the argument turned physical when Mr. Pagan came at him aggressively and that another man then emerged from a bedroom with a gun in his hand.
Mr. Easter testified that he darted for the door and collided with Mr. Pagan, who fell backward into the man with the gun. He said he heard a gunshot and felt someone tugging at his backpack before he managed to flee from the apartment. Assistant District Attorney Michael D. McHugh called Mr. Pagan to the stand Monday morning as a rebuttal witness. Mr. Pagan testified that he did not know Mr. Easter and said he was not home on the morning of Nov. 5, 2013. He also testified that he was never employed as an ironworker.
Detective Kelly Carpino, a second rebuttal witness for the prosecution, testified Monday that she and Detective Michael Tarckini interviewed Mr. Easter after his Dec. 12, 2013, arrest. When asked at that time whether he was in Worcester on Nov. 5, 2013, Mr. Easter “shook his head no and said he had no clue,” according to Ms. Carpino.

So just to review. Chad Easter said he came to that address to collect money owed to him from the guy on the first floor, who was a fellow iron worker. But the guy on the first floor testified under oath that he had no idea who Chad Easter was, AND he was never an iron worker. Oh yea, and he also wasn’t home either, so that whole unbelievable story that Chad Easter told obviously can’t be true. And of course he told the cops that he wasn’t even in Worcester on the day of the home invasion in 2013, but that story evolved over time just as much of his tall tale of this encounter has as well.
Even without the testimony of the dead witnesses, how is this not enough to go on? Dude had no business to be in their apartment, yet his prints were all over it. He was allegedly in an apartment in which a gun went off, yet he never called police or reported it to anyone. A jury of 12 morons believed that.
Were Alex Lora and Jessica McKeon innocent people? Not if they were selling drugs. But the fact of the matter is that they were cooperating with the state and helping to put a dangerous man behind bars where he belongs. Chad Easter isn’t going to be able to get a job after this because his name is gonna come up in a home invasion every time an employer Googles him. So what do you think he’s gonna do for money? The only thing he can do – rob, steal, and murder. Janet Kenton-Walker helped make that happen.
Turtleboy is enraged about Ashley Losapio too. The more we think about how she was allowed to keep her job after giving up confidential information to criminals, the more disgusted we get. Did she know Chad Easter? Who knows. But how many more Ashley Losapio’s are out there? How many more leaks are the in the probation department? Because as you can see, no one can ever get fired from there. Clearly someone gave them up to Chad Easter and he made sure they weren’t around to testify.
I know you’re reading this right now Ashley. Do the right thing for once in your scummy life. Resign. If you think we’re gonna stop writing about you then you are wrong. We won’t rest until your mugshot is added to the Turtleboy Sports graveyard.
