Poor Spanky McFarlane. Things just aren’t going his way these days. Guess what he wrote about today? It’s gonna blow your mind……….

RACE!!!!

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 12.07.40 PM

I know, I’m shocked too. But he’s really angry that the School Committee hired a white woman (Maureen Binienda) to be superintendent. Check it out if you wanna have a good laugh. Here’s some of our favorite parts:

After our “Community Dialogue on Race” and after hiring a diversity officer for the city, we orchestrated and concluded a superintendent search in which the minority community, and the community as a whole for that matter, was strategically shut out of the process. This tells us everything we should know about the dialogues and the diversity position. They are shams.

unnamed-19

Yea, obviously it was a sham. I could’ve told you that a while back Spanky. Ya see, Ed Augustus and Joe Petty brought the DOJ here because of something called “white guilt.” As “progressives” who have almost ZERO people of color in their inner circles, they have to make it seem like they care about people of color. So they threw some of the wackjobs like WANDA and Joyce McNickles a bone by having these race dialogues, and letting them get up on the microphone and whine about how Turtleboy is ruining their life. Ultimately they were just venting sessions with free food so Deb Powers and Gordon Davis didn’t have to go grocery shopping. The things some of these morons were saying about teachers being racist were so absurd, but Petty and Augustus smiled and nodded anyway because they wanted you to vote for Petty in November. And you all fell for it. Because you are dumb.

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 12.22.17 PM

“Yet, the appointment of Ms. Binienda, whom the staunchest critics of the process – including myself – believe is a wonderful educator and a capable leader, is not the betrayal that has branded this city as backward and provincial and even scary in the eyes of many. The betrayal is the stunning abandonment of the city’s moral and ethical obligation to its diverse community by the search process.”

So let me get this straight Clivester. You think Maureen Binienda is a “wonderful educator and a capable leader.” But you feel “betrayed” because they chose a “wonderful educator and a capable leader” because she’s not diverse enough for your “diverse community.” Makes sense. Perhaps they should’ve throw a couple token black candidates into the mix. Someone from Virginia or New Mexico or California with no knowledge of Worcester, not background working with Worcester children, and no understanding of the community. Definitely.

To sum up the charade, members of the School Committee publicly declared their support for Ms. Binienda before the search process began. They then eschewed the advice of community groups and organizations such as The Research Bureau, the Citywide Parent Planning Advisory Council and the Latino Education Institute and restricted the search to current Worcester public school employees.

Translation – the Latino Education Institute, and other unelected groups, told the School Committee they wanted a national search, and therefore the elected School Committee had to listen to them. Makes sense. Although, I was always under the impression that “advice” means they are encouraging you to do something. I guess when Clive says “advice” he really meant “demands.”

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 12.27.17 PM

Mayor Joe Petty, the one leader we would expect to stand strong in defense of the city’s moral and ethical underpinnings, kept throwing up his arms in showcasing his defeatism.

LOL. I love this part. Spanky and crew got behind Joe Petty sooooo hard in November because they were shitting their pants about Gaffney. Little did they realize that Petty never really cared about their misguided agenda. He was only humoring them. If he thought another candidate could’ve won he would’ve voted for them too. But he realized the people and their elected official wanted Mrs. Binienda, so he jumped on board. Just check out his Facebook page:

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 9.45.42 AM

HAHHAHAHAHAHA!!! Everyone knows that Petty did not want Binienda to be superintendent. He privately told her several times to ease up. But she didn’t. And now that he realizes how popular she is, and how much the public supports this choice, he jumped on board too. Because at the end of the day Joe Petty stands for nothing but himself.

Spanky is also a big fan of Jack Foley, the only SC member who voted for Marco Rodriguez:

Prior to the official vote on appointing Ms. Binienda, Mr. Foley lectured his colleagues on what should have been the process, the process that the community wanted.

Newsflash Jack the Shot – this IS the process the community wanted. We the people just elected this school board four months ago. We picked two new members, and got rid of some dead weight, specifically because this is the way we wanted it done. The superintendent search was by far the most important issue in the election, and the people made their voice heard loud and clear. It’s the reason why Brian O’Connell, Donna Colorio, and John Monfredo all beat you. Because we the community wanted what they had to offer more than we did what you had to offer.

Prior to soliciting candidates’ applications, the school system should have created a strategic vision that looked at “where we are as a school system and where we want to be in the next 10 years,” he said. This vision should be fine-tuned through engagement with the community and used to draft a search document to appoint the right person for the position.

Yea, we could do that. Or we could just pick the highly qualified and universally respected principal from the most diverse school in the city. That might work too.

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 12.30.47 PM

Screen Shot 2015-12-28 at 1.20.12 PM

The ending is such classic Spanky too:

But, if you are a member of the minority community, how can you trust these members when they are the same ones who drove Ms. Boone away, the same ones calling for more police officers and cameras in the schools, the same ones seeking to buck state guidelines by expelling more students from the classrooms; the same ones who frown on cultural education being an option in our schools, and now the same ones treating minority children – now the majority of the system student population – as an acceptable loss?

So let me get this straight Clive. If you are a member of the “minority community” you automatically have to, 1) like Melinda Boone (because she’s black and all), 2) dislike police officers (particularly officers who make schools safer), 3) not want cameras in school, and 4) want schools to be forced to keep violent offenders in school for the sake of graduation rates. This is what ALL members of the “minority community” MUST feel according to Spanky. Lumping all people of color under one umbrella? Nothing racist about that!!

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 12.33.48 PM

Anyway, as usual it’s the same 10-15 people who think they’ll get their way because they yell louder than everyone else. They showed up in force at some of these meetings in a vain attempt to bully the SC into doing a waste of time and money national search. But their silly opinions were ultimately disregarded and now they don’t know what to do. Because for years they’ve been able to get their way by yelling louder than everyone else. But thanks to the pure unadulterated goodness of the Turtleboy Sports Revolution, we’ve made it clear that we control this city, not the crazy people.

Nancy Smith is one of these crazy people. It’s probably not her real name, but she is without a doubt a upper class, white, “progressive” woman, who has never had a black person over for dinner before (we’ve asked her). And she is PISSED!!!

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 11.38.47 AM

This article had nothing to do with race?? Wait…..what??

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 11.38.06 AM

HAHAHHAHA!! “I’m as white as they get and so are my friends and colleagues.” Yup. That sums up progressivism in Worcester right there. Upper class white people who have gone out of their way to move to parts of the city where there are almost no minorities. Here’s my question for Nancy Smith. Since you married a white guy, did you at least go out with a few African-American and Latino guys before choosing your husband? I mean, what’s a bigger decision – choosing your life partner or choosing a superintendent? Because I’d be willing to bet that Nancy is a pearl clutching honky who has never tasted the forbidden fruit. And since you expect the SC to interview a more diverse set of candidates, shouldn’t you be expected to date a diverse set of dudes before you get married? Just sayin.

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 11.43.16 AM

“They willingly turn a deaf ear to people who don’t look like them.” Yup. No mentions of race in this article!!!

Does Worcester have a lack of diversity in high ranking, highly paid positions? Yes. But it has nothing to do with Turtleboy, or the Tea Party, or Trump, or Gaffney, or any of the other people who are unfairly labeled as racists. Worcester doesn’t have representative diversity because of this picture right here:

12325551_121453904915804_2050667985_o

Eight “progressive,” “liberal” white guys in suits. Shaking hands and patting each other on the back for being so open minded and progressive. This is why Worcester isn’t diverse. Because almost everyone in this picture has been handed their current position by other entrenched, “progressive” wealthy white guys. Tim Murray got handed his $250K job with the Chamber of Commerce. Jim McGovern was put in place by the Joe Early Sr. machine and has since become his own machine. Ed Augustus, who is completely unqualified to manage a city, was appointed by his rich, white guy friends to be City Manager nonetheless. Baby faced Dan Donahue was the handpicked machine candidate to fill the vacant East Side state representative seat. They could’ve gone into the minority community and tapped some up and comer, but instead they picked the white guy with the Irish last name and the baby face. THIS is the real reason Worcester does not have representative diversity.

If Clive finds that white Americans are racists at heart, and they make up the majority in the USA, why does he stay here? Maybe it’s time for him to pack it up and move back to Jamaica where there is a black majority. Otherwise he should shut the fuck up.

      Why?
A: Because Jamaica is a crime infested shit hole with one of the highest murder rates in the world. Maybe he’s afraid his Mercedes will be stolen too.
B: He won’t be able to peddle his only way to make income, race bating.

I’m afraid were stuck with him. But then, he’s 50% the reason I canceled my T&G subscription over a year ago. The other 50%, the now defunct Old Balls.

It’s because he doesn’t actually care about black and white. The only color that matters to him is green.

I love to read Spanky’s rants, they make me feel intelligent and unbiased in comparison.

Ohh and this process was bullshit and biased but sneaking Augustus in the back door without any search or application process at all wasnt? What the fuck?

    Petty is hack fuck.

    The hypocrisy is astounding.

I love this shit. Now “minorities” are begging for hiring based on race? Wats the next? “People of color only” meetings? Ohh wait, “Black Lives Matter” already does that.

So if Leicester (which is %99 white) only hires whites, Clive will be ok with that right?

Wat about Old Ball’s hometown of Sutton? Thats %99 white. they better not have any minorities over there!!!!

After all, how can a minority relate to the student body if its all white kids right? Fucking hypocrites. Everyone of them.

This is another reason why Trump is gonna win this whole thing.

The race pimps are at it again. Instead of celebrating a qualified candidate they turn it into another made up race issue. I already cancelled my subscription to the Telegram because of good old Clive and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Speaking of “white guilt” the BLM people have the Amherst Police Chief hanging a banner next week across the busiest street in town as a result of the fall out in Northampton BLM banner on city hall. Of course he’s essentially endorsing a domestic terrorist group whose soul purpose is to harass cops. Does he believe in this movement, hell no! Does he have white guilt? Hell yes! Shame on him for not having blue backs and crumbling to their demands.

Now, let’s use the same logic to get a good, qualified, city manager, who actually lives with his or her spouse of the opposite sex ,along with their city-schooled children, in the city of Worcester, rather than some unqualified, hack, Nancy-boy, driving in from Millis.

      March 16, 2016 at 4:33 pm

Of the opposite sex is where you lost me. Nancy boy? It’s people like you that make it so nuts like Clive can say “look at the hate that comes from turtleboy”. Think before you say stupid shit!
