We’re doing a new daily blog, going chapter by chapter through “I Am Turtleboy” and answering questions directly from turtle riders. Last night’s episode was removed by Facebook so you can only listen on SoundCloud or iTunes. The reason? “Offers of sexual services, solicitation of sexual material, threats or depictions of sexual violence, threats to share intimate images or any sexual content involving minors.”
The irony of a book club discussion about a book about censorship being censored for something that clearly was not happening is amazing. We will not be silenced.
The Turtelgram’s Clive McFarlane had it out for Turtleboy and decided to “out” Turtleboy in a hit piece full of lies that many critics of the blog still reference today. Here’s the real history between Clive and Uncle Turtleboy, and how he inadvertently started the “I Am Turtleboy” movement amongst turtle riders.
