District Attorney Joe Early and Worcester State Senator Harriette Chandler sat in the front row today at Ron Tarentino’s funeral:

The guy who said that “prison wasn’t working out for” Jorge Zambrano, and the woman who just yesterday voted against a bill that would pay for bullet proof vests for police officers. They went and sat in the front row. No words. Shameful.

Next time Harriet Chandler is up for re-election, I hope TBS brings this whole thing up. This will definitely be Harriet’s last term.

I hope Joe at least went up and apologized in person to the family for getting an officer Tarentino killed

    “LE” is law enforcement.

Who would investigate this the AG Maura Healy, Federal Atty Carman Ortiz or some other investigator?

Thought Joe Jr. Was smart but that was a stupid statement to make. You know the Judge who made the decision and brothers girlfriend should be investigated along with Joe and Judge letemgo the stepdaddy.

Is that Anne Gobi sitting next to McGovern? Looks like she is looking at her phone. At a funeral, really? How self-absorbed can you be to do that? She’s another one that needs to retire.

I’ve seen the term “le” used many times in the blogs and comment section the past few days. Pardon my ignorance, but what does it mean?

I love how these STAINS are the ones taking up space in the church solely based on their political positions. News flash no one gives a fuck about you or you’re political positions in this corrupt system that without a doubt, if had done its job appropriately, would not have resulted in an amazing mans tragic death. Those seats should have been filled with LE, Family & Friends and the obviously heart broken community. These fucks didn’t go door to door searching every address related to Zambrano moments after the attack, putting their own lives on the line to serve TRUE justice for a fallen brother. These SCUMBAGS did not escort the ambulance, Ifficer Tarentino or his family before or after the tragic news of his passing. They didn’t spend every second looking for this vehicle. Nor did they stop their families lives this past week to assist the Tarentino Family or escort Officer Tarentino to and from. What did they do?? Nothing, except use their position of power to make headlines over horrific incident. FUCK ALL OF THEM, this system needs to be turned upside down and revamped. SUPPORT LEO 100%. THANK YOU OFFICERS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO. It does not go unnoticed.

Listening to the court room audio it seems like that judge had something influencing him and realized it was wrong. There was something up. He seemed like he was inclined to hold him but he had been asked and probably already agreed to cut him loose. Then he gave a half ass ultimatum. First call is to his brother, who was most likely his wholesaler for the coke business. Then his brother called the whore. She called her old friends in the courthouse probation office and someone went to the judge. Shes not the first probation employee or RMV employee caught giving info and its always a broom job. Her step daddy might have made the call for her too. BTW-Howie Carr is dead in my eyes. No excuse.

In fairness, the law in Massachusetts with regards to compensation for the family of both fire fighters and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty is substantial , as it should be.

        (c) The killed in the line of duty benefit shall be a 1 time payment of $150,000 to the family of a deceased public safety employee who, while in the performance of his duties and as a result of incident, accident or violence, was killed or sustained injuries which were the direct and proximate cause of his death.

I believe it’s $150,000. Substantial? A slap in the face if you ask me…

One payment of $150,000 ? That’s not a lot at all.

Yep. One. How generous of the Commonwealth, isn’t it?

That’s a judge’s annual pension. They should donate it to Mrs. Tarentino.

I have to step back and give the DA a pass on one dumb statement at the wrong time and. I believe he does care deeply for police officers. No, I’m not a political hack and normally lean to the right so I guess it’s no surprise that I do find Sen Chandler and Rep McGovern’s presence slightly hypyctical given their votes and stances on BLM matters.

Unbelievable! These political hacks have no idea how it is to live paycheck to paycheck like Mrs. Tarentino will now have to. No overtime, no extra things for the house, no private college for her kids…disgusting. And I heard Chandler’s rat trap has dust on it.

Hopefully she will receive some help from the memorial fund started & his brothers in LE. Also I’m sure there’s some measly state payment for his death.

Hey I see St. John’s own Jim McGovern in attendance. Did he and Early made good examinations of conscience before they strolled up to communion?

    • Bigskybill
      May 27, 2016 at 2:11 pm

Haha what consciences do they have. But for the record the funeral was a Baptist service, not Catholic.

      • Lambodiesel
        May 27, 2016 at 2:22 pm

Funeral was at St. Joseph in Charlton. Not too many Baptists named Tarentino. Rule of thumb, if the name starts or ends in a vowel, the smart money is on Catholic.

        • Bigskybill
          May 27, 2016 at 2:43 pm

Well this time is the exception to the rule. Funeral was Baptist, they had it inSt. Joseph’s because of the large number of attendees. Try to keep up

Her -I just can’t even stand. Him, I believe there was more to just those few words and I think he meant that the system was not keeping him locked up and key thrown away as he should have been and as it should have been. He is a good D.A. just my humble opinion. Our state’s laws & judges need a huge over haul.

  • Mark
    May 27, 2016 at 1:29 pm

As someone who has spoken with members of the DA officee, some information I gathered was that the reason the quote was said it because his lawyer, tony scola, worked in the same office as the judge on his cases and was going to be set free unless the DA made a plea deal. But that should be confirmed

      May 27, 2016 at 1:30 pm

And by he I mean Zambrano. Mr. Early was working against a fixed system

    • Jon
      May 27, 2016 at 2:45 pm

      Fucking horrible.

I passed some info along to Federal ADA Fred Wyshak – who is a good customer of mine – which I’m sure he already knows, but decided to anyway to make sure I did all I could to ensure this corruption ends…and he is the guy who heads the anti corruption division (this is the guy who put John Connolly away and finally got to send Bulger away to rot in prison when he was found.)

I just don’t understand how Joe Early can say “prison wasn’t working for him” like he did, and keep a straight face. I cannot believe the audio of this judge allowing this dangerous animal out on bail after seeing his record. I don’t care if Losapio was his best buddy in the whole world, you do NOT pull favors for that type of person – multiple A&Bs on police, the DA recommended revoking bail, what the fuck?!
