If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.
Last night we published this blog about a butthurt local Dad who was smearing his daughter’s former daycare provider on Facebook with some serious allegations that were investigated and found to be untrue. Colonel Boothe alleged that Candice Ross, the owner of Wachusett Children’s Center in Holden, threatened to put her daughter outside in the cold last spring without any shoes or a jacket, because of poor behavior.
He urged his followers to share it several times, and hundreds of them did, because he was upset that she had taken him for $450 in small claims court after he failed to give two weeks notice before pulling his daughter out. He failed to mention that he dropped his daughter off with this evil woman, who he claims he believed was a threat to his daughter, the day after his daughter told him this, because he had to go to work. This was all we needed to hear. No one who actually fears for their child’s safety would let them stay another day at a place where they were in danger.
Anyway, Colonel is sticking to his guns. The post remains up on his page and people are still sharing it. So how is he handling his newfound Turtleboy fame? This way:
Yup, he’s playing the pornography card. Evidently we shared a picture of his child (we didn’t) next to ads for porn (I wish there were ads for porn on our site).
Except that’s not porn. It’s a Revcontent generated clickbait story. It appears at the top and bottom of lots of websites out there, as Revcontent, Taboola, and Outbrain are three of the biggest native advertising networks on the Internet.
I’m not 100%, but I’m pretty sure they’re generated by your cookies and previous sites you’ve visited on the Internet. So you might not want to share that with the wifey Colonel. These are the ads I get:
So I have a thing for washed up celebrities and cannabis. Sorry, not sorry. But yea, I don’t get the same ads Colonel does:
The bottom line is that this is how you know we were in the right. When you’re so devoid of the ability to debate the facts that you have to resort to criticizing the cookie generated ads that appear on your phone, you’ve lost the battle for the truth a long time ago.
Colonel also was upset that we didn’t point out that other parents shared harrowing tales about the daycare as well:
- We definitely mentioned some people who had negative things to say about the daycare.
- Unconfirmed anecdotes in an echo chamber prove absolutely nothing.
The bottom line is that you blindly believed the misconstrued story of your 4 year old, violated a contract, lost in court, and tried to destroy a small business because you’re butthurt. You also put your daughter out there for the world to see because you were using her as part of your revenge plot, not caring at all that she might not want this. But then again, it was never really about the girl, it was always about Colonel.
