The verdict has finally been handed down since this shitstorm saga of Kyrie/LeBron started over a month ago. Danny Ainge finally whipped out those balls of his and made a blockbuster trade that quite frankly – shocked the NBA. I don’t think anybody expected Cleveland to trade Kyrie Irving to Boston – who is their biggest contender in the East for yet, another inevitable Eastern Conference Finals matchup.
This could be a tragic flaw for LeBron’s career. Don’t forget LeBron is chasing Michael Jordan currently – and all of his remaining playoff appearances will dictate the results of that. He can’t lose to Boston for the sake of his legacy, and it’s possible he could. If he goes west to the Lakers, he’s not beating Golden State. Which would mean last year could possibly be the last NBA Finals he will play in.
It has never been clearer that Boston will rule the Eastern Conference for years to come. Yes, Cleveland will have the draft pick. But, Boston has a much more sustainable core – and a functional front office. On top of their core, Cleveland still has four shitty contracts on their books including Iman Shumpert, JR Smith, Kevin Love, & Tristan Thompson (who’s under the Kardashian curse don’t forget).
Don’t be the guy who is mad Isaiah Thomas is gone. He is a shorter version of Kyrie Irving who’s a worse defender and has the hip of my grandmother. The Celtics still have the Los Angeles Lakers pick for next season – so that subsidizes the loss of the Nets pick. It’s never made more sense for Ainge to go get a star. Every piece fits for long term success in the Eastern Conference. Let’s not be mistaken – Golden State will sweep Boston if they make the Finals, it won’t even be close.
Despite the fact this was a good deal – Boston still sent a lot to Cleveland. That gets me thinking – if they did this deal, what did Chicago want for Jimmy Butler?? I feel like Chicago would’ve took this deal and ran away laughing like a schoolgirl. Ainge REALLY redeemed himself here, although I still think Jimmy Butler would of been a better to trade for.
This trade has never made things clearer that LeBron has one foot out of the door. Cleveland made this deal for the future, there is no doubt about that. Cleveland got one of the most valuable contracts in the NBA in Jae Crowder. Crowder’s deal is worth $35M over 5 years and his deal will be up in 2020. That’s pretty solid for a guy who will play good defense and give 14 points per game & 5 rebounds.

This article presents clear idea for the new viewers of blogging, that really how
to do blogging and site-building.
Hi there, all the time i used to check webpage posts here
early in the daylight, since i love to find out more and more.
Crowder really is the hidden gem in all of this – he’s a solid round-out support player, but the writing was on the wall that he would be on the way out with Hayward coming in – but you never get something good for nothing.
Now if they can just round out the lineup around these few good players they have, and keep them all healthy, this could really be the start of something good.
Idiotic title to the article saying Danny “finally” had the balls to pull off a move. Is it that fucking hard to understand that the “right” deal most likely hadn’t present itself? Had Danny made a move just because he had the assets (Butler or George), we may have not been in position to make a move like this one. This was the opportunity that he was patient to take advantage of. The same people that had been bitching that he didn’t make a move last summer would be the same people bitching that we should have held onto the assets and made a move for Kyrie because Butler didn’t help us win a championship.
