He was visiting the Dominican Republic when some desperate shithead tried robbing him and shot him in the leg. (New reports are saying that he was shot through the left side of his lower back and the bullet went through the abdomen.) Of course Big Papi is going to be OK because guys who end 86 year curses can survive a shot or two in the leg. This is his fucking island after all. And on the bright side he can officially launch his rap career now.
Honestly, this is the least surprising news ever. The Dominican Republic is a nice place to vacation, but I would imagine it’s a terrible place to live. No offense to any Dominicans, but odds are if you’re Dominican and reading this right now, you’re probably in Lawrence, which means you LEFT that shithole because of how terrible it is. Sadly you ended up in Lawrence which is even worse.
