Who is Worcester’s best rapper? For the last few months this wasn’t even a question. Everyone knows who’s Feeling Goooooooood around here:

Get Down Productions was the unquestioned King of Worcester hip-hop. But there may be a new kingpin – Worcester Bling Bling. Ever heard of it?

Often I drive past the one on Stafford Street and just imagine the world of enchantment that lays inside. Turtleboy is not nearly as fresh to death as Mrs. Turtleboy would like him to be, so we might have to go there on my next romantic Webster Square date. Especially after seeing this amazing commercial:

Only $9.99 for a paid of jeans? He’s right, that IS pretty baller. And I know that only Worcester’s finest buy pre-paid minutes for their cell phones, so I’m assuming I should put on my Sunday’s best before I go in there. But I dunno, I think I still like Get Down Productions more. Just look at the setting. Worcester Bling Bling is shot in a  bare room with bare walls:

It’s not bad I guess, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the Building 19 parking lot:

So who you got? Worcester Bling Bling, or Get Down Productions? We need a Worcester rap battle and we need it now. I say let’s do this at either the Turtleboy Statue or Whitco.
