If you haven’t heard the news yet, an appeals court has sided with Roger Goodell and the NFL and upheld Tom Brady’s initial four game suspension. Turtleboy has no idea how any of this works, nor do we care. But from what we’ve seen the decision ultimately means that Roger Goodell and the NFL are not subject to any sort of laws or regulation:

It’s a sad day for American labor more than anything. Your boss can literally just steal money from you now and then appoint themselves the “arbitrator” and uphold their suspension without any evidence or facts to back them up. Everyone knows that Brady did NOTHING wrong. Science has proven that they never deflated any balls. More importantly the Patriots continued to beat teams this year by more than they did last year, despite the fact that there could be NO DOUBT that every single ball was properly inflated at all times.
Meanwhile Peyton Manning, who just won the Super Bowl, was never even QUESTIONED by the NFL despite the fact that he was having HGH shipped to his house the year before the greatest season in his entire career!! Oh yea, and Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, and every other woman-beating piece of shit who played in the league didn’t get half the scrutiny Brady has gotten over some balls. What an absolute fucking joke.

I’m serious too. This should be the most important political topic at every debate from this point forward. I don’t wanna hear about walls, or healthcare, or transgender bathrooms, or ISIS. Trump is our only hope. He’s had Brady’s back 100% since day one. Haven’t heard a peep about this from Bernie, Hillary, Cruz, or Kasich. Time to start holding their feet to the fire. Either you’re with the people and you stand with organized labor and justice, or you’re with Goodell and pure evil. There is a spot on the Supreme Court up for grabs, and we can’t afford to have anyone appointed who is anti-Brady. Your move Hillary.
Anyway, we don’t know how these appeals work or whether or not Brady can get an injunction to play while he fights this, but in the end it might actually work out in our favor. They just pissed Brady off again. BIG mistake. Plus, after the opener at Arizona we have one crapbag team after another, all of which are at home. We get to see if Garoppolo is a legitimate NFL starter while our defense eats up chumps like Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Tannehill, and Brock Osweiller. At the end of the day we’re guaranteed to win the division and make the AFC Championship game. Even when we lose we still win, because God loves us more.

Goodell does not even have a MBA. His undergrad is Economics. How in the world does he even get a clue to issues of due process and appropriate punitive measures? That’s like asking my accountant for legal advise on a case involving air in a fucking football.
That job, which pays some 300 million annually according to the NY Dailey News, should be bestowed upon a former judge at best or a lawyer at the very least…
The player’s association, the union, gave away the store when they agreed to the language in the current contract. That is the reason the appeals court ruled the way they did. Like it or not, the artful dodger (Goddell) has the power to bitch slap the players because they gave him the right.
