Good for them. It’s honestly about time cops started doing stuff like this. And they worded that letter a million times better than Turtleboy would have. It’s professional and it still gets the message across – cops believe that black lives matter, but this group has inspired violence against police that has resulted in the deaths of lots of police officers. By saying “black lives matter” it implies that the Somerville Police don’t already thing that. But they do, just like 99% of normal human beings. It’s a slap in the face and it needs to come down.
Naturally the chief of police gave a press conference the other day saying he was for it:
Because for the most part police chiefs aren’t really cops once they reach that level – they’re politicians. The chief of police was appointed by the loony-toon mayor Joe Curtatone. A man who has gone on record to support the 19 idiots who blockaded I-93 and tried killing several law abiding citizens on their way to work.
He’s a complete sellout and a fraud, just like Curtatone. He sold his officers out and basically spit in their face. Good for the union for giving him the middle finger right back.
Cops are professionals, but they’re also American citizens with the right to protest their government. Maybe in a nutjob paradise like Cambridge Jr. people like Joe Curtatone are liked and appreciated. But the rest of civilized society recognizes him for the joke that he is and supports the Somerville Police Department 110%.

Seriously – Thank God we will never have that problem here in Worcester with Police Chief Steve Sargent. He is a Cop’s Cop and the rank and file are very psyched that he got the nod after Chief Gemme retired. Chief Sargent would never take a posture like that in a million years against our Police Officers. No way.
And as much as we have our fair share of boobs lurking around in city hall, I also doubt that they would have the bollocks to hang a banner in front of the building like they did in Somerville. -Fingers crossed-

Joe Curtatone’s main mission in life is to support criminals, not help the citizens who elected him. Somerville is a sanctuary city and he loves to kiss ass to illegals breaking the law. Now he’s using city resources to advertise his love for what has become a domestic terrorist group encouraging or directly acting violently against the police or torching inner cities. I am sure the brainless voters in Somerville will keep electing this moron because it makes them feel good about how diverse the city is.
