You may recall that Turtleboy Sports was the first media outlet to publish the name of suspected cop killer Jorge Zambrano, because we had an inside source with a towing company that had towed the car he was driving on May 16. Since this was the vehicle that police were on the look out for, we were able to speak with the company and find out who was driving it last, and who picked it up.
However, a lot of people have been asking a really good question – why was Jorge Zambrano’s trashbag girlfriend Heather Philip allowed to pick up this vehicle, which would later be used to murder Ron Tarentino, if she did not own the vehicle. This was a really good question we didn’t have time to figure out last week because it was so hectic. But we did end up speaking with someone who works at this tow company, and they explained it to us:
The Mass State Police don’t always take the plates off when cars are unregistered. That’s a question best directed to them as to what their policy or protocol is. Sometimes they take them right on the spot and sometimes they don’t. Not sure why. Most customers show us the new registration, pay the fee and a person with a valid license drives it out.
However, if they don’t get it re-registered they can tow it out. Unregistered cars can be towed out and placed on private property. Absolutely not driven out. And not parked on a public street. It would just get towed again if the police notice it. The WPD and the state police allow us to do that.
Heather Philip paid an independent company to tow it out for her. We had to show the police that (video) so they were assured we followed the rules. Where he towed it to is up to her. We took her ID to kept a record of who the car was released to. We already knew that she was okay to take the car because the MSP had told us she was coming to get the dog that first day it was towed.
They often times they have us write on the tow slip “registered owner” only if there’s an issue with ownership or unauthorized use etc. It’s sad to say but this animal would have probably found a way to drive that piece of crap car any way he could. Even if they took the plates off.
Boom. Mystery solved.
By the way, it’s been almost two weeks since Ron Tarentino was assassinated. A normal person would take down their profile picture of themselves schmoozing with the murderer. But since Heath Philip is human garbage, she still has this up for her’s:
Arrest this idiot.
