This is Alena McNamara of Belmont, MA:
She is a librarian at MIT:
And she was recently very offended when she drove by Brasco & Son Memorial Chapels funeral home because they were flying a flag that read, “Blue Lives Matter.” Ya got that? Suggesting that the lives of police officers are valued is now offensive and even racist. So offensive that it merited a letter which Alena proudly displayed on social media for the world to see. Let’s see what she wrote to them…..
These people are amazing. The mental gymnastics they have to perform to reach these conclusions are mind blowing. And it’s always the librarian too. Add that to the list of jobs that the Turtleboy children will never be allowed to pursue.
“Why, and in what way does your funeral home support the police?”
Imagine being such a self-serving nudnik that you think you have the right to demand that other people have to explain to YOU why they support the police? I mean, is that even a question? I support the police because they’re the only thing standing between a civilized society and anarchy. But that’s just me. Maybe the funeral home likes them because they’re blood thirsty racist murderers.
“the interpretation I have of your flag horrifies me.”
Well then, why didn’t you just say so? It’s perfectly normal to describe yourself as “horrified” because you saw a flag supporting the local police. And because you’ve chosen to interpret this flag in such a triggered manner, it’s up to everyone else to cater their ways to you. You don’t have to change though. It’s perfectly reasonable to be “horrified” by this flag.
“these come off as supporting police killing Black citizens without even a trial.”
Hey Alena, here’s a thought – blue lives matter means that the lives of officers who were killed in the line of duty, do in fact matter. I know, I know, I’m fucked up like that. But that’s just the way I interpret the slogan. You’re probably right though. What it really means is, “we support lynching black people here.”
“Your flag is saying: We are fine with police murdering Black citizens, because more deaths create more business for us as a funeral home.”
She cracked the case!! It’s a huge conspiracy. Funeral home supports cops. Cops kill black people for sport. Funeral home makes cash-money. This is the conclusion a reasonable person would make.
“That is a terrifying statement to make to our African-America neighbors in Belmont.”
Oh yea, all those black neighbors she has in Belmont sure are “terrified”:
Thank GOD we have white people like Alena McNamara to speak on behalf of how terrified ALL the black people in Belmont are of a flag that supports the police. There’s nothing racist at all about a white woman suggesting that all black people think and feel the exact same way. Nor is their anything racist about a white person putting words in their collective mouths, as if black people are a group that is incapable of independent thought.
Oh wait, yes there is. Turns out the only racist here is Alena McNamara. She even shaved her head. Ya know who else shaves their heads? Neo-Nazis!!!
And since I’m willing to be that the words “Nazi” and “white supremacist” are regular words in her vocabulary which she uses to put others down and in turn prove that she’s one of the “good ones,” then I guess there’s no harm in assuming she’s a Nazi too. It’s like the “whoever smelt it dealt it” situation. The people screaming racism the loudest are almost always the real racists.
Whatever you do, DO NOT contact the MIT Library to let them know that they employ a potential white supremacist Nazi as librarian:
And DO NOT flood the MIT School of Architecture and Planning’s Facebook page with one star reviews. They probably don’t even know that they employ such a bigoted person.
Just like the White Rose Coffeehouse assholes, they don’t get to get away with this shit anymore. They have free speech rights and so do we. This isn’t some harmless line of thinking either. Telling black people that the cops are out to get them, and that any business who supports the police is complicit in the murder of black people, further divides us along racial lines. It also endangers black people AND the police by potentially escalating conflict between them. For too long these nutjobs have monopolized the conversation. They make the most noise so they get their way a lot. But turtle riders aren’t really known to keep their mouths shut, and we’re not putting up with their shenanigans any longer.
