The other day we broke the story about the video from Boston of police officers arresting one of the world’s biggest dooshnozzles, who was quite angry that police were taping him while his buddy was taping them. Because apparently this rocket scientist doesn’t know what irony is. Here it is again:
Well now this model citizen is lawyering up because of “police brutality”:
The attorney of a Hub teen said his family is mulling a lawsuit after a Boston police officer was captured on a now viral video putting his hands on the teen’s neck — a move Mayor Martin J. Walsh said yesterday was “no choking.”
The incident, captured in a video that surfaced online Monday, prompted an investigation by the Boston Police Department’s Internal Affairs division and a criminal case.
The teen was identified as 18-year-old Elvin Vargas by his attorney Stephanie Soriano-Mills, who said he was arraigned and released on a disorderly conduct charge a day after the Aug. 16 incident.
But Soriano-Mills said a civil lawsuit is a “possibility,” and slammed the cops’ actions as “excessive force.”
“He puts his hands around his neck. There’s no procedure or policy that I know that involves strangulation. Nothing. So to justify that by any means is wrong,” Soriano-Mills said.
“That is assault and battery. We’re going to demand that this be rectified. … And we hope that the Boston police recognize that actions were taken that were not OK.”
In the video, a handcuffed Vargas is seen shouting obscenities at police as they try to put him into a police cruiser.
At one point, an officer puts his hands on Vargas’ neck for several seconds and he’s ultimately pushed into the backseat.
Police Commissioner William B. Evans identified the officer in the video as Teddy Rivera. He also defended the department, saying police had 20 complaints for excessive force last year, down from roughly 74 in 2011.
“We’re using very little force. We have very few complaints. I think we’re an excellent department when it comes to using force,” he said, noting in this instance Internal Affairs examined the video.
“Let’s put it in the context of what it is,” Evans said. “I am very disturbed that this whole incident is focused on our behavior. To look at the behavior we were subjected to there — the vulgarity, the sexually explicit things that were said to my officers to do — it’s troubling to me.”
Walsh told reporters he saw the video and thought “there was no choking there.”
“If there was choking, he would not be able to speak,” Walsh said. “I don’t know all of the particulars … but I don’t view that as choking.”
Soriano-Mills called the comment by Walsh “inappropriate.”
“We are extremely disappointed in the mayor’s rush to judgment,” she said.
“As far as I know he has not spoken to my client or the family of what happened that day.”
See that? That’s why Turtleboy is a big fan of Marty Walsh. Immediately backs up the police in no uncertain terms. Sides with the good guys instead of the criminals. Common sense tells you that if you’re being choked you can’t yell “fuck the pigs nigga!!” You know, because you’re wind pipe is supposedly being obstructed. Joe Petty would’ve had a closed door meeting with the hippies and ministers by now, and offered them a full apology.
The sad part about this is that the city is probably gonna settle with this clown. Because professional chiselers like Stephanie Soriano-Mills have made a lucrative career out of suing the police, because they realize that it’s cheaper for the city to settle than it is to pay lawyers to fight it out in court. Then idiots like Kevin Ksen will point to all the wasted taxpayer money on police brutality lawsuits, as if it’s some sort of indicator that police are out of control. They’re not. Lawyers and criminals are.
Here’s a pro tip for you if you’re getting arrested – shut the fuck up and get in the car. Then the police won’t have to force your ass into it. That’s what a normal, civilized person would do. Think you’re being arrested without cause? Talk to a lawyer afterwards. Rest assured though, you were arrested for violating a shitload of really good laws.
Let’s look at the quick play by play. First you have captain cop block proudly and confidently spending his afternoon yelling racial slurs at police officers on film:
Then you have him him cuffed for disturbing the peace, still keeping it real as they attempt to put him in the back of the cruiser:
Then you have him resisting their attempts to put him the backseat, by refusing to put his head down. So the officers are left with no choice but to push his head down, so he doesn’t bang it against the car.
Apparently this kid wanted his head bashed against the cruiser instead. But the cops didn’t want to hurt him. However, the kid then turns around and faces them while yelling “fuck the police.” And since pushing his head down clearly wasn’t effective, the officer tried to push him down by the throat instead:
Clearly this isn’t a “choking” though, as when your’e being choked you can’t open your mouth and yell “fuck the police”:
Meanwhile the cops have a camera literally inches from their face while they are dealing with a volatile situation in a dangerous neighborhood. At one point one of the model citizen’s fantastic friends reaches over and tries to hit the police officer:
This is what cops have to deal with on a daily basis. A situation that easily could’ve been averted if people didn’t choose to be buttnuts. Instead of letting them do their job, everyone there contributed to making it a dangerous environment, in which someone easily could’ve gotten hurt. So in the future, the next time you’re arrested, just do what they ask you to. Or better yet, don’t get arrested at all.

Unreal. Somehow I’ve managed to live 33 yrs without ending up staring at the business end of a police dept issue firearm. Am I doing something wrong??
The Attorney referenced here is the daughter in law of former disgraced State Senator Diane Wilkerson. If you Google, “Cornell Mills”, you will find her husband, along with some very damning convictions against him over many years.
You can tell by the cops hands and arms he wasn’t choking. That said this kid got off easier than he deserved. The cops showed amazing restraint.
These idiots are about winning the day not the “war” . I’ll admit some things have happened throughout a country of 315 million people that’s fucked up, however no group is special there’s assholes of all races colors creeds, etc. The idiots in ferguson were chanting we’re ready for war, I mean are u kidding me they could hardly dress themselves. No the problem with BLM, in worcester is Sarai is no priest, they lack simple social skills and their education is zero. Street Stupid and Book stupid. The right to speech, arms, etc comes with responsibility otherwise no one would of fought for these precious rights. Think. Stop chasing the same 100 bucks and rap is useless now, the only one to use rap to get a message out was 2pac if you read between the bull.
That poor child’s parents should be disappointed in him.
Oh and beside Rob Gronkowski, Marty Walsh is another famous person I’d love to pound beers
with.
Marty Walsh just plain gets it. When in an era where many of those voted into office do not. I see him as a future governor, senator or beyond. Thank you Mayor Walsh for your service even though I am a Worcester resident and do not reap the benefits of your talents. You bring hope for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts politics both locally and beyond. Rock on Mr. Mayor.
ok so the kid sues the police they better not settle cause if this goes in front of a 12 man jury in suffolk ct theyll come back and award the kid nothing and waste the lawyers time. have family at the courthouse who say all the time these jury doesnt award shit. just wasting there timeplus who are there tax payers not trying to give away free money. this kid wont get shit and his lawyer will drop the case in a few weeks. was probaly looking for free pub for auto claims.
I’m sure his maltreatment is race related a worth at least 100 Beelion Dollahs!
Have fun never getting an interview for a decent job, ever. What a clown, and that cameraman, fuck him with an aids dipped pineapple.
Why would he even want a respectable job when he can live like a king off the taxes of actual working people?
This man has the freedom to say “fuck the pigs nigga!!” whenever and to whomever he wants, and doesn’t have to work a day in his life. He’ll probably get a nice little lump sum thanks to our court system.
Thanks hippies.
I commend that poor innocent youngster who got arrested. He was very courageous and elegant and would make a fine Worcester city councilman one day.
Can we get a Marty Walsh in Worcester? Gaffney’s good, but Marty is the full anti-hippy.
