I really hate blogging about national political stories, but this mother fucker right here is the worst person in the media.
CNN’s Jim Acosta loves him some Jim Acosta. I had no idea who this guy was until Trump became President, which was probably the greatest thing to ever happen to Jim Acosta’s career. Basically he makes a name for himself by putting on these displays at press conferences under the guise that he’s asking the tough questions, but he really just makes it all about him by hogging the microphone. Then Trump yells at him and he victimizes himself by pretending that he’s somehow in danger of being assaulted at Trump rallies because people shout “fake news” at him. Oh, and he’s constantly pretending that he’s being censored by Trump even though he’s on TV and has almost a million followers on Twitter. One of the great victim complexes of our time.
Everyone on Facebook and Twitter has been sharing the news that he’s now banned from the White House after he once again made a press conference all about him by refusing to hand over the microphone to a White House intern.

In fairness, Trump brings out the worst in these people. He’s intentionally douchey to them because he knows how they’ll react and then he can feed into the us against the media schtick. By taunting CNN about their low ratings, although I find it hilarious, he’s obviously looking for a fight. Either way, Jim Acosta is an asshole and a disgrace to journalism, and he definitely karate chopped that White House intern for trying to do her job. Watch the video.

This is why I hate these people. Turtleboy is permanently banned from Twitter, despite not violating any of their rules. We’ve had 32 Facebook pages taken down. We are constantly being censored. These people are allowed on all these platforms, get access to the White House, and appear on TV stations that broadcast around the world. And they’re whining about being censored. Amazing.
Meanwhile this is exactly what Jim Acosta wanted. This guy gets off on his newfound celebrity status and virtue signals like he’s going to war on his Twitter.

The bottom line is, I don’t think he intentionally tried to hurt this woman or anything. He was just being a a douchebag per usual, Trump put an end to his “look at me” show, and he inadvertently karate chopped her arm. The only thing that matters is that she tried to take the microphone from him and he wouldn’t let her. And that alone is grounds for losing your press pass. Should’ve happened a long time ago. But at the end of the day Acosta is the big winner here. He gains 500,000 followers, builds his personal brand, and becomes a victim and a cause celebre. He wanted to be banned because it’s good for business, and he actually plays Trump like a fiddle. On second thought he might be the diabolical genius of our time.

The best part of this is according to ratings more people watch ancient aliens reruns on history channel than watch any of CNN’s top rated prime time programs. Not a single CNN program scored in the top 20.
