Kevin Ward Jr Insane Video Getting Run Over And Killed By Tony Stewart Was Bound To Happen With NASCAR

So the big news in sports the past 24 hours is the fatality which occurred last night on the race track. Kevin Ward Jr., a 20 year old race car driver, was killed by NASCAR moron Tony Stewart, after getting out of his car to confront Stewart. Ward was apparently provoked to get out of his vehicle in an attempt to confront Stewart after Ward’s car was driven off the track, causing it to flip over by Stewart. If you have the stomach for it here is the video:

So obviously this whole thing is tragic. Any time someone dies it’s a sad thing. Also, I know very little about the unwritten rules of NASCAR, so my thoughts on this may or may not be very different from the NASCAR establishment. Then again anyone who likes NASCAR probably couldn’t beat Forrest Gump in hangman.

With that said, Kevin Ward Jr. played with fire and got burned. He tried to be a hard ass by walking directly into oncoming traffic going at dangerous speeds and he got run over. That’s really all there is to say here. It sucks that he died, but I can think of a million other people who deserve sympathy over him. You know, like anyone who has ever gotten cancer, or been killed in a car accident that WASN’T their fault. Those people didn’t do anything wrong and had to die. This guy ran into oncoming traffic in order to show the world how big his junk was.

This one is 95% Ward’s fault. Some people are saying that Stewart revved the engine before hitting him. If he did then he should be arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. It also makes him an asshole. He was trying to show Ward that it was in fact him that had the bigger bulge in his pants. I’m sure he didn’t mean to hit him. And just like Ward, he played with fire and burned the house down.

If you think I’m being insensitive then you’re missing the big picture here. A soldier who dies in battle takes a calculated risk by going into battle. There is a chance they can die. But it is for a greater good. What the fuck was Kevin Ward Jr. trying to accomplish? A stern talking to? Prove to Tony Stewart that he may only be 20 years old, but he’s still a bad ass NASCAR driver?

I’ve never watched a NASCAR race and I never will. Anyone who can watch cars go around a track hundreds of times and feel entertained is someone whose ancestors were taking a nap while evolution was happening. But the few highlights I’ve seen have involved people like Kevin Ward Jr. acting like badasses. Apparently this is the cool thing to do when your entire job description is turning left. It’s like a non-stop competition to see who can drive the fastest while at the same time proving to the world that they have way bigger balls than everyone else.

Obviously Ward was a young driver who grew up thinking shit like this was cool. Pretty simple solution here for NASCAR – no one gets out of their cars and walks on the track. Ever. Seems like pretty common friggin sense and it probably should’ve been a rule in the first place.

As far as Stewart goes he was actually planning on racing today, but pulled out at the last minute. At the start of the race the reverend who blessed the racers decided not to mention the fatality that occurred the previous night and instead thanked God for the good weather. Because that’s what was on everyone’s mind that day. The fucking weather.

The real miracle here is that somehow NASCAR has found a way to make NFL discipline seem harsh. How Stewart was given the option to race today is beyond me. Ummm, probably should keep a low profile for a little bit Tony, because you may be wanted for murder. The NASCAR governing board somehow managed to find a way to make Roger Goodell look like Mr. Hand. Even Ray Rice had to take a two game breather for beating the shit out of his wife. Maybe if Tony Stewart smoked weed he’ll be banned for life?

Well let’s just hope Stephen A. Smith doesn’t get wind of this. After all, he’ll probably just say Ward provoked him.

Feel free to share your thoughts to keep the conversation going.

wow…the dumb factor in this post is staggering. maybe you should stick with commenting on home and gardening or perhaps a rousing game of bridge? you’re connecting completely disconnected sports here. i hate nascar as much as the next person with a brain but maybe you think Nascar should punish F1 drivers for spinning out on a world rally cross track too? i mean they have about as much in common as what you’re talking about here. oooh….maybe the MLB can fine LeBron for an incomplete pass at Wimbledon?

Stick to the stuff you watch at Hooters and can regurgitate what the ESPN analysts say after the games. Venturing out on your own like this seems to be ill-advised. 🙁

I’ve read this comment several times and I still have no fucking clue what you’re talking about. I award you zero points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Wow I didn’t realize that loud mouthed douche bags came in as large of bulk as you. Running your mouth and disrespecting the dead, karma is a bitch and I hope she finds you SOON!

Occasionally people die doing dumb things. It sucks, but remember that humor = tragedy + time. Like that stupid movie My Sister’s Keeper was on last night. Again, not much on the comedy scale at first, but after watching that dreadful film a few times it is at least as funny as any of Adam Sandler’s work in the last 15 years.

Disrespecting the dead? Looks like we have another enforcer of unwritten rules on our hands. OK maybe this works for you – Kevin Ward Jr. should be held in the highest regard for running directly into oncoming traffic on a speedway made of dirt. That was a really smart decision on his part. I really RESPECT that, since he’s dead.

Nice to see you didn’t let your lack of knowledge prevent you from (incorrectly) commenting on a tragedy. But just to enlighten you, this accident didn’t happen in a NASCAR race, nor with a class of car even remotely similar or even on the same type of surface, for that matter. It is akin to claiming MLB should enforce rules on cricket matches since, you know, they both use a bat and ball…

But don’t let your ignorance stop you; spew away.

It’s a bunch of fucking cars going in circles. And Tony Stewart is a NASCAR driver. Not that at all fucking matters or has anything to do with my point – Kevin Ward Jr played with fire and got burned. Period.

Oh boy. Unfortunately for you, he’s right. Educate yourself on what you’re talking about or don’t speak at all. You sound like a boob. Actually, you’ve sounded like a boob in your last few blogs. You need to re-focus.

As I said, I’m well aware that this was not a NASCAR event. But Tony Stewart is a NASCAR driver. And NASCAR also involves driving around him circles and acting like a hardass. Got it?

            Re-read your article. Got it?

I just re read it. Turns out I was exactly right. Anyone who gives a shit that this wasn’t technically a NASCAR event is a moron
