Kingston Teacher Wants To Keep Getting Paid Not To Go To School And Spreads Misinformation About Kids Dying In Order To Do So

Rutland Police Detective John Songy died from COVID in May. It was awful and tragic. But nobody suggested that we shut down the police or do “remote policing” because we all recognize that police are essential. More importantly police are not cowards and understand that what they do is essential, so they’d never suggest that. Schools and teachers are likewise essential, and “remote learning” is not an acceptable option if you want your kids to learn effectively. Any teacher who is refusing to go back to school because they fear a virus that has almost no chance of killing them is a coward and should resign in disgrace. I get messages every day from teachers telling me just that, and they’re ashamed at some of their coworkers leading the charge to keep schools closed.

One of these teachers is Courtney Viveiros, a Duxbury resident and 4th grade teacher at Kingston Intermediate School.

And she is perhaps the most uneducated fear mongering teacher I’ve seen yet to date. The Duxbury Public Schools are voting tonight about whether or not they should open schools and she has some strong opinions on that. Keep in mind, a grand total of zero children under the age of 20 have died from COVID, out of a population of more than 1 million in that demographic. The average age of teachers in Massachusetts is 42. A total of 457 people under the age of 60 have died from COVID, which constitutes over 5 million Massachusetts residents. That’s 1 in every 10,000 people, the majority of which had pre-existing conditions.

But this data doesn’t concern people like Courtney. Here’s the letter she posted explaining why she doesn’t wanna return to work.

You know what else affects children’s social emotional needs? Child abuse. Teachers are more than just teachers. They are mandated reporters. They make up the majority of 51 A’s that are filed after noticing something wrong with a child. Being abused is far more detrimental to a child’s well being than having to sit in rows.

Then she became a scientist.

1. If you don’t feel safe sending your kids to school then don’t send them. But your ridiculous fears shouldn’t prevent my kids from getting a quality education.

2. My kid shouldn’t be deprived of an education because your kid’s grandparents live upstairs. What she’s basically saying is that her kid’s right to hang out with Grandma is more important than my kid’s right to an education. If you’re worried about your kids giving COVID to Grandma then don’t let the kids see Grandma. All of my kid’s grandparents choose not to live in fear like this.

She’s also an HVAC specialist because she read “scientific articles.”

Remote learning isn’t learning. My school district’s plan to reopen involves an hour of Zoom time with my kid. She can’t sit there by herself which means I have to sit with her. After that her day is done and now I’m the glorified babysitter. I pay taxes for teachers to teach my kids, not me. I’ll help them with homework, read to them, and make sure they’re prepared for school. But it’s not my job to be a co-teacher because you’re afraid of a virus. Start telling teachers that you’ll cut their pay if they don’t return and watch how quick they get over their fears.

Keep in mind, this woman is a teacher and wants her kids to stay home too. So who’s gonna take care of her kids while she’s working? Because teachers are insisting that remote learning is just as time consuming as real teaching. If that’s the case they should be busy the entire day and thus will have no time to tend to their kids. But of course we all know that’s not what remote learning is.

Then again, a quick look at her page shows that the fearmongering and brainwashing is strong in this one.

This one made me laugh.

You’re a teacher who is demanding not to go back to work. I will not be kind fo you while you insist that you continue to be paid for not doing your job.

This one seems rational.

Just a teacher sharing a book called, “So you’re an orphan now” to spread fear porn about a disease that has almost no chance of killing your kid or you. There’s just so much fear mongering.

She also says that she can’t “give her full self” to her work because she’s scared.

OK then, quit. You’re obviously not up for the job and the obstacles that have been thrown at you. Good luck finding a job where you don’t come in contact with other human beings and get paid to sit at home doing a couple Zoom calls.

She’s a big fan of sharing articles about kids dying.

I’ve clicked on a few of these, and of course they never list the name of the child or their family. There’s no way to verify any of this and find out if the kid was already ill. She doesn’t care about any of that because she would prefer to live in the fantasy world where COVID is killing kids. It’s not.

This one says it all.

Your “actual life” isn’t in danger from COVID. I don’t just care about my kid’s “social life, and fuck you for suggesting that this is the only thing parents care about. My kid needs an education, structure, and yes the social aspects that come along with school. Their right to do that is infinitely more important than your right to be irrationally scared, especially when I’m paying your salary. If you’re a teacher pushing this kind of nonsense then don’t EVER tell me again that it’s about the kids. It’s clearly. It’s about you.

Courtney also isn’t worried about your kid falling behind in school because it’s just “our created expectations of where they should be by a certain age.”

Well that’s great news. Turns out school isn’t really important at all. As long as our kids don’t die they really don’t need anything else. If you actually believe this then it means you don’t believe your job is very valuable or necessary.

And finally this.

Wrong. We don’t shut down the world so that ZERO people die. We don’t shut down the police because some police officers have died from COVID. We don’t stop putting out fires because 9 Worcester firefighters have been killed in the last 20 years. Every single teacher who is refusing to go back had no problem going to the grocery store and didn’t seem to mind that the employees there who make much less than them are “risking their lives” to be there.

It take this issue personally because I’m a parent and a former teacher. If I was still teaching I’d be dying to get back into the classroom. Last night our school committee voted to do remote learning for an unspecified amount of time. This was one of the School Committee members who voted for remote learning asking the taxpayers to vote for a budget so that teachers don’t lose their jobs.

Give us your money and in return we’ll keep the schools closed. The nerve. Now the district won’t have to pay for school buses, heating, electricity, or any of the other day to day costs of keeping schools open. When will the taxpayers receive a refund?

They keep saying we’re going to “re-evaluate” in November. What does that mean? What happens if in November we’re in the same situation? What happens if a year from now we’re still in the same situation? The virus isn’t going anywhere and there is no way to stop the spread as we’ve seen with the lockdown. How long is it acceptable to keep this going? Because we all know that “re-evaluating” in November means we’re just gonna do the same thing again. The virus is here. It’s part of our world now. We have to live with it and continue on. If you wanna hide from it that’s your choice. You have no right to force everyone else to do the same.

They want to “re-evaluate it November” because once the election is over COVID will no longer be an issue. Just like homeless people and unemployment. If Biden is elected all these major issues will disappear.

Fire all teachers who wont work!! This is the same subgroup of teachers that will teach your kids not reading and math, but how to suck dicks in the boys room and take estrogen. Take this opportunity to fire them and hire some older married christian ladies. Fucking win-win. I wish we had a republican governor, so we could get this done.

You are really reaching for content huh? This article is the dumbest fucking thing I’ve read all year. I am dumber for having read it. I have multiple family members that teach. Some are for schools fully opening and some are against it. Which ever side they are on they can agree that remote learning was an excruciating amount of work. Just because they were not on zoom for 6 hours with the kids doesn’t mean they were not busy correcting work, emailing parents, preparing lesson plans and attending mandatory staff meetings online. Just because your wife took it as a vacation does not mean every teacher did. But what could we expect from a loser blogger who was fired for sexual harassment? You are literally ripping this teacher apart for her views because they don’t line up with yours. You are a pathetic pile of shit. Find a real job and help people out instead of tear them down.

If that’s your mentality on any child or a teachers well being and safety you are no Einstein. Let’s all throw caution to the wind and pretend we hold all the answers and put our children out there as guinea pigs in this world of uncertainty putting them in jeopardy. This disease is not judgemental in who gets it and who will live or die, it’s reality. Listen to the medical profession its right there every day. A parents creed is to raise, protect, care and love your child and always look out for their well being. But that is and as a parent something that you have to figure out on your own. I wonder if Courtney’s opinion regarding the Wuhan Flu would be different if she, and every government worker, had been furloughed without pay instead of being put on an indefinite paid vacation. Here’s a fun fact. Did you all know that the schools in Massachusetts have been closed for learning, but they’re all open to serve “free” breakfasts and lunches to welfare crotch fruits? So, the virus fairy strikes if you’re in school to learn, but it ignores you if you’re in school to scarf a free meal? Another thing to ponder. What happened to the teacher’s union’s opposition to home schooling? If remote learning has been so successful, then perhaps its time to start laying off teachers. After all, tax collections must be DOWN big-time, due to the lock down. At some point the state is going to run short of funds. I’d say massive cuts in education are in order. After all, home schooling and remote learning has been a huge success story during the manufactured crisis, right?

Folks we’ve been overrun. To quote my character, Captain Harris, in harrowing scene at the end of the movie Platoon:

“Be advised, we got zips in the wire down here.”

Truly, my fellow Americans, our public education system is experiencing the relative equivalent of “dinks in the wire”. If you’re not a BLM supporter, a commie, our or BLT123, you have been all but overrun. America needs to drop snake and nape all over the public education system in this country. But I don’t think that our collective onions are heavy enough to really go through with it. We need to channel our inner Captain Harris.

I say, fuck all these ideological freaks! Let’s fill our onions with pent up goo and righteous rage, and and proceed to nut all over’m in a way so creative that our 3rd Grade teachers would be filled with a variety of pride known only to those who know a job well done.

History lesson for the teenagers, millennials, and college kids….

In 1968-1969, the Hong Kong flu was a pandemic that spread across the globe. It infected nearly everyone, and was especially fatal for people aged 65+.

There was no lockdown, and no mask hysteria. Roughly 1-4 million people died.

And things like the 1968 Olympics were run in Mexico, the Presidential election was run in the US, and it turned out to be Nixon Vs. Humphrey.

There were protest events and riots, and the murder of Robert Kennedy.

And the Woodstock Music Festival occurred in upstate NY, with a million people rocking.

You kids got screwed. No summer rock shows. No graduation parties. No senior year sports.

All every day that goes by, it looks more and more like your summer, and all your year was screwed, because some people have wanted to make Donald Trump look bad.

I hope those of you that are going to vote don’t forget who drove the hysteria, who sent COVID patients in to nursing homes, and who recommended the counterproductive treatment of the ventilators. It wasn’t Donald Trump.

What should have been one of the best years of your life was screwed for politics.

You actually wrote that ‘kids get a break from learning”. Please explain to me why kids would need a break from learning? Also, explain to me how kids that go to school year-round suffer from not taking a break from learning.

Summer breaks were actually caused from not wanting students and teachers in the super hot classrooms during the hotter months. This was decided before air-conditioning. When this happened, a huge ‘summer vacation’ market opened up, and money being made has been the strongest support for summers off.

So, your task is to show me any evidence that summer break is because students need summers off, or that summer break is for them.

If summer breaks were for students, and not dictated by the teachers’ contracts, explain to me why students wouldn’t get staggered summer vacation, and teachers would be in the classroom year round. It would make sense, and it would be easy to implement. In fact, in the over-crowded schools, it would be beneficial to have teachers there year round, while some students took different months off. But this isn’t the way. Teachers dictate when summer is and how they work it. Teachers may sign up for summer school, but there’s no way anyone is going to make them teach during their 2 months off.

Let’s also get back to my original argument: It was stated in this article that teachers are essential workers. If that is the case, then how does the world spin during summer breaks when teachers are not working?

Holy shit “Teachers are essential” that’s a fucking good one.
Today’s average teacher is typically a very liberal girl or a feminine male who just graduated studying at UMass Amherst or Hampshire College and therefore are qualified to stand in front of little kids and read to them from an assigned Textbook.
Fact, every teacher at one time or another has been brought to the point of tears after being picked on by the kids in their class.
They were made fun of when they were students and they are still made fun of when they’re teachers.

Hahahaha. So teachers never had to make a will before Wuhan Flu came around? Is that what I’m being told? Not once since the creation of education has a teacher made a will until now? Got it. And these people are responsible for educating the youth? Shit on a shingle.

There’s and epidemic of stupidity that’s saturated the country. When you hear these people or read their social media posts it’s glaringly obvious that a significant majority of the population think that the world began when they were born or that nothing of significance happened unless they decided so based on whatever social media posts they fall for that day. I read it on the internet, it has to be true….
What we’re seeing now is a lot of really dumb people (the result of getting an education from people like this twat), who get easily confused by facts and logic, be manipulated. The longer the dumb dumbs stay confused, the angrier they get because inevitably they begin to realize how dumb they truly are and when that realization happens you get “peaceful protesters” murdering innocent people, lighting cities on fire and destroying everything in their path. When Trump wins again in November, you better be armed because all bets will be off.

  • We don't need coward teachers!
    August 6, 2020 at 1:39 pm

Education is essential to our society, therefore teachers are essential. If those who don’t want to go back to school to teach, should quit and find another job that will allow them to stay home…PERIOD! Let other teachers who are truly passionate to teach our kids go back to school and not make them stay home because you have selfish teachers who rather stay home and get paid! Keeping kids at home is not good for them overall. I would not be surprise to see suicide rate go up in ages 0-19. Covid-19 is safer on kids than forcing them to stay home to suffer in silence with their depression, mental and physical abuse!

  • Homey D. Clown

Pretty simple solution: Teachers teach, aka, do their fucking jobs, or they don’t get paid.

This part-time “remote” learning is a farce, and everyone knows it.

Why the hell are government employees being paid when they aren’t working?

No teach (in person, none of this remote BS), no pay.

Tell the teachers. Show up to work or get fired.
