So there was a pretty bad accident in Shrewsbury on Route 9 yesterday:
Luckily the local hero who witnessed it told everyone about how he pulled a girl out of the car, kept pressure on the big cut on her head until the paramedics arrived, and tried calming down the passenger who was running around like a crazy person:
Just another day at the officer for DJ Wile E!!
Not only is he a hero who literally climbed up to the top of the car and risked electrocution and the car blowing up, but he’s also humble too:
Unfortunately for him one of the girls who was in the crash ended up seeing his post and showed up to dispute some of his heroic tales:
Oops!! Didn’t see that one coming! That’s when he pulled the, “You don’t remember me?” card:
Translation – “you must have hit your head pretty hard if you don’t remember me.” LOL. Basically he’s been caught at this point but he’s trying to salvage something out of it. That’s when he changed the subject and started to ask if she and her friends were OK:
He has since pulled down the post and messaged her, still trying to convince her that he was indeed the hero, she just might have forgotten about it:
Finally he had to admit to her that he did in fact embellish his involvement in the rescue, and went right back to changing the subject:
And what do you do when you’re caught red handed in a lie? Try to offer help for a non-existent day in court:
Because routine car accidents often end up in court.
Anyway, I actually feel bad this guy. Kind of. I mean, it’s a chud move to make up a lie for some Facebook likes, but at least no one got hurt as a result of his lie. Normally the people we rip on hurt other people. This guy just hurt his own reputation. It’s just embarrassing man. He obviously posted that assuming that this chick would never see it. But Worcester and the surrounding towns are a small world, and two or three degrees of Facebook separation basically ensures that you can no longer tell lies like this on the Internet without getting called out on it. Lesson learned.
