WPD Facebook page: As a result of the homicide investigation over the weekend, two suspects were place under arrest. On October 3, 2015, at approximately 11:04 PM the victim, identified as 33 years-old Carlos Estrada of Worcester, was found lying on the sidewalk near the entrance of Crystal Park suffering from a stab wound. Mr. Estrada was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Detectives were notified early Sunday morning that Mr. Estrada succumbed to his injuries.
During the course of the investigation detectives were able to obtain the identities of a male and female who were fighting with the victim when the stabbing occurred. As a result, probable cause was established to arrest the pair.
Detectives continue to work to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. However, police believe that this was not a random attack.
Ms. Erika Mullen, 31-years-old, of 26 Sever Street, Worcester was located Sunday afternoon and subsequently placed under arrest later during the evening. Ms. Mullen was charged with Accessory after the Fact of Murder and Misleading a Police Investigation.
On Monday, October 5, 2015 at approximately 7:10 AM police investigators located and arrested Mr. Anthony Chambers at 48 Barclay Street, Worcester. Mr. Chambers was charged with Murder.
Don’t worry folks, this isn’t a big deal. It’s just the media trying to make you think that Worcester is dangerous, when it’s really one of the safest places to live in New England. I mean, it’s just Crystal Park. Our streets are safe….as long as you live in Joe Petty’s neighborhood and send your kids to private school.
But if you don’t live in those neighborhoods then you might have to deal with a few dead bodies from time to time. As long as you don’t make eye contact with anyone and you’re inside before sundown, you have a pretty good chance of not becoming a victim yourself. Don’t worry though, Mayor Petty will start admitting that your neighborhood is dangerous once you start voting in high numbers and donating to his campaign. Until then we’re just gonna give you free “Sarai River District 4 City Councilor” t-shirts and have you vote for the craziest woman to ever serve in public office. If you need, he’ll be with people that actually matter to him at another fundraiser, just like he was while this poor guy was getting stabbed to death.
Anyone remember back on July 21, Jumpin’ Joe put together a slum sociable through Main South with the mayors from Revere, Chicopee, and Newton? We do. They got all dressed up and walked through Kilby Street and Beacon Street and showed off these redone apartment buildings:
But the problem is that spraying shit gold doesn’t mean it’s not shit anymore. Puddy wants us to believe that with his whole “the streets are safe” thing, but when you have people getting stabbed to death down the street it’s pretty easy to see through his bullshit.
Like we’ve said a million times, we could respect Jumpin Joe if he were at least honest. If he said, “I’m disgusted by this crime wave and I’m willing to use whatever resources that are necessary to combat it. ALL citizens of Worcester, not just those fortunate enough to live on the west side, deserve a certain quality of life that clearly doesn’t exist right now.”
But we don’t get that. Instead we get lip service about how we’re less dangerous than Brockton and Fall River, according to their charts. Take your city back from these chumps on November 3 – vote for Mike Gaffney, Rob Sargent, and Konnie Lukes for City Council.

There goes Farrakkan’s JusticeOrElse plans for a million man reunion in Washington with the arrest of this thug. Gonna be 999,999 now.
Does Joe Petty remind anyone else of “crazy eddy”….
Remember those commercials .
Petty is pathetic.
Mayor McCheese and his merRyan band of race baiters have more pressing issues, like diversity training and funding anti American organizations.
Worcester is not safe and no neighborhood is safe. And all corners have been touched by gang violence including Salisbury and Tatnuck. True is you drive almost to Holden or Paxton, say Tracy Novick neighborhood it is probably ok, for now, but those are just slivers of a City that has become remarkably unsafe in past 5 years. Hamilton Street infested, Junes Street infested.
I have a friend who’s kid wanted to go to Clark. Her Dad said no just because of the neighborhood. True story.
We need white collar professionals like doctors and engineers to run for office. These blue collar losers (some with Walmart law degrees), for whom municipal office is a step-up rather than a sacrifice, are killing this city. The entire city council is a clown-fest.
That has got to be one of the scariest, most grimacing smiles in the world.
Kinda reminds me of Mr. Burns from The Simpsons.
