Half an hour ago we shared this video with you, showing Mayor Joe Petty calling the mob he organized “friggin morons” several times.
First time he’s ever been honest. He’s not dumb. He knew exactly what he was doing. He used and abused these morons.
But somehow we also missed him calling them “stupid” (at the beginning of this video) and then saying, “these people are not educated, they’re not educated at all.” Listen again:
Amazing. This is the difference between Gaffney and Petty. Gaffney wears who he is on his sleeve. He’s not afraid to take on a mob of social justice warriors as long as he’s fighting for what he believes in. Joe Petty stands for nothing except power. He’ll say and do anything to stay in the good graces of the Godfather – Uncle Jimmy McGovern. And sometimes you have to incite a mob and bus them in from Northampton. His supporters are saying he was talking about Gaffney not them. It shows just how stupid they really are. They don’t even know when they are being made fools of.

Getting really sick of the City Council trying to vilify Gaffney (and to some extent Lukes) for simply trying to make them be more responsible. I guess they really do want to have a perfect echo chamber.
