MSP NewsEarly this morning the Massachusetts State Police Special Tactical Operations Team (MSP STOP) made entry into a residence at 253 South St. in Athol and served an arrest warrant on an adult male wanted for threatening a state judge. The entry and arrest were made at approximately 3 a.m. after a Troopers from Troop C and a State Police negotiator attempted for several hours to persuade the suspect, JEFFREY WHEELER, 56, to surrender. WHEELER, who lives at that address, refused to surrender peacefully.

Upon making entry into the residence, Troopers had to utilize a Taser electronic control weapon to subdue the hostile suspect in order to take him into custody without using lethal force and without significant injury to him or to them. Suspect WHEELER was transported to a hospital for examination and then brought to the State Police Barracks in Athol where he was booked.

MSP Troopers obtained the arrest warrant on Thursday after conducting an investigation into threats made against a state judge. Intelligence suggested that WHEELER, whose license to carry a firearm had previously been revoked, may still have access to a firearm. Late yesterday afternoon MSP Troop A issued a Be On the Lookout alert for the suspect.

At approximately 7 p.m. Troopers from the Athol Barracks located the suspect’s vehicle outside his residence at 253 South St. in Athol. Troopers established a perimeter around the suspect’s house, which appeared to have an outdoor camera surveillance system installed. Numerous attempts to make contact with WHEELER were unsuccessful, and when contact was made he indicated he would not comply with orders to surrender, leading to the eventual decision that MSP STOP Team had to make entry and effect the arrest to resolve the situation.

So let me get this straight. This Athol ath hat threatens a state judge, and in response the State Police tactical unit pulls out all the stops and raids his ratchet den at 3 AM like he’s Elian Gonzalez? It’s almost as if judges are a protected class of people in this state who get special treatment that no one else gets.

Do you realize how many times a day cops are threatened? When we say blue lives matter the counterargument from black lives matter is that cops get to take off their uniforms when they go home. Any cop who works in a high crime area laughs at this as the shitbags they arrest know their names, where they live, the names of their kids, where they go to school, and often let them know that when they are arrested or questioned.

So why is it a crime to threaten a judge but not a cop? Cops are out here getting killed because of the poor judgement of activist judges. It’s almost as if blue lives don’t matter, but judge’s lives do.

Hell, we get threatened all the time by people as bloggers. Do we get to have the MPS tactical unit go after every angry buttnut who comes after us? Fuck no. If you can’t deal with threats then don’t be a judge. You get paid $200,000 a year to work a couple hours a day and collect a fat pension. Every once in a while you’re gonna get threatened. It’s not the MSP’s job to go after every idiot with a big mouth in a trailer park in Athol.

Judges have a potentially disastrous impact on peoples’ finances and freedoms.
Judge is having a bad day, didn’t get laid, lunch sucked, etc? Your settlement is smaller or denied, you get four years in prison instead of nine months of probation, your best evidence gets thrown out and so on and so on…
Are they accountable for that shit?
No, as long as they stay within the bounds and guidelines.
I never understood why judges aren’t killed on a near weekly basis, given their frequent abuses of power and mindboggling legal decisions.

What the fuck??? This is such an idiotic article. It is a crime to threaten a cop. Go up to a cop, and say that you are going to shoot him. Watch how fast you are in handcuffs.

So when are they going to raid the probably 800,000 people that are now threatening judges?

Why do we need to kid glove cops of all people? Judges are workers with no real right to injure people who bother them, cops are trained and permitted to assault people with no legal repercussions.

Cops don’t need protection, they are protection, and the reason we value them so highly is because they’ve accepted the danger that comes with such responsibility. Justice comes at a cost and these men have stepped up to pay for it in the unfortunate event it comes to that. Judges don’t do that, they ensure just and lawful, not moral, application of force. Cops carry it out.

If judges were Army. You are the squad leader. You and your men fight their way into town. You capture the enemy commander, and some how survive with a platoon of enemies in chase. You make it back, and then the captain gives the order for everyone to move out, leaving you and the prisoner. Do as I say; not as I do.

Hey Brian, you fucking hammerhead… when you talk shit and tell people to show up where you are, it’s a good idea to not have outstanding warrants.

Kids, stay in school. Don’t be a Brian Albrecht.

They aren’t ‘activist’ judges. they are, unfortunately, inactivist judges who follow stupid rules about ‘ability to pay’ levels of bail, without also remanding to a dangerousness hearing, a Massachusetts oddball thing. (And useful. I know someone who got a 1 year sentence, but also was found ‘dangerous.’ Seventeen years later, he’s still locked up – what we need is more of these.

Remember how the stupid Americans embarrassed Russia in front of the world and destroyed the Soviet Union without firing one shot? We probably would have fucked their Soviet woman too just to add insult to injury, since they’re all whores and have no morals at all, but we didn’t want to catch their filthy Soviet crabs, and besides, they smell like skunked beer splashed on a German Shepherd’s asshole.

That’s true. I went to fuck a Russian chick one time, and I got her pantyhose off, and the last time I smelled something that bad was when we pulled a dead raccoon out of the chimney. I shit you not. That and that smell when you boil potatoes until the water’s gone and they burn. Air fresheners in Hell smell like Russian pussy.

I love how Russia thinks they’re so badass, when all they really do when they’re attacked is run away so that the enemy that follows them freezes to death in their shithole icebox country. That’s pretty much what a country full of little girls (with stankass cunts) would do. Bunch of faggots. They never even bombed anybody. We gave Japan a permanent suntan back in 1945, and Russia is stupid enough to think they can fuck with us. Clowns.

Wwwy is right on this. If it wasn’t for the russians in WW2, it would taken a hell of a lot longer to defeat germany and japan. And, there would have been a much greater chance that fighting would have happened on american soil. Without russia and and a smarter Hitler, history could have been much different.

And how many Japanese battleships or flat tops did they sink? Oh yeah they didn’t enter the war til after we had nuked Japan and were ready to invade.

Hey TB, anyone know what the deal is in Athol with the police chief?

    Paid leave.

Previous to that, a shooting happened that probably involves a cop. The DA says no big deal.
No one knows who did the shooting. No one knows who got shot.

All anyone knows is the police chief is just collecting a check with no reason given.

First off…what we’re Judges? Answer? They were, and still are, lawyers.
Your average lawyer has likely never gotten dirt under his fingernails, let alone work in a job that requires split-second decision making with a constant threat of bodily harm.
Their idea of physical exertion? Lets see :A daily jog in their gated neighborhood? A gym membership at the “club” ? A round of golf? Pilates with their physical trainer?
You are talking about members of the chablis sipping, brie munching crowd.
They don’t have a clue what life is like for a cop. And sadly, they don’t care to know. They are “above it”.
So……when some “mean, scary man” makes a threat against them, they soil their monogrammed silk undies……and call the police!
    Yeah, those guys.
    The ones “they are above”.
The ones who protect all people.
    Yeah, them.
Yet…. does the judiciary protect the cops? Nope.
Do the legislature protect the cops ? Nope.
But they do a great job of protecting themselves.
    Fuck them !

i share the collective frustration with what some of the moonbat MA judges have been doing recently, but electing judges is definitely not the answer. It just replaces one problem with a whole bunch of other problems.

    • z
      July 31, 2018 at 5:17 pm

When judges are elected and know they may not be lifers, they put their paw out to make sure they get theirs while in office.

Look up Mark A. Ciavarella Jr. and Michael T. Conahan.

They ran a kickback scheme with private jails for youths in PA. Got a kickback for every one they sentenced to the private facilities. They first forced the closure of the county run youth detention center. Then they had “No Choice” but to use private ones.

Yeah. Imagine the ass pain involved in electing Supreme Court Justices? I was thinking though, that we could but the honorable back in the honorific of your Honor, but it was just horrible a play on words.

We need a Governors Council that doesn’t suck and that isn’t just a stepping stone into better elected positions. Again, a law and order ticket.

Officer’s are trained to inflict a hurtin, if need be.
It must be scary being a judge. Even going to the grocery store. Do they get some sort of special protection?
Most judges i have seen are pasty and chubby. I’m sure they’ve all run into family and friends of people they’ve put away.
