Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. We’ve done blogs on the Connecticut Facebook vigilante group called “Pop Squad” that catfishes would be kiddie diddler, films them in the act, and then posts the encounters on their Facebook page. Like that time they got a Westfield Middle School janitor who tried to meet a 14 year old boy at a Southington Walmart.
Or the Storrs high school teacher who had been exchanging sexual text messages with a person he thought was a 14 year old boy, and when he went to bang them he found the Pop Squad instead.
They do not directly collaborate with the police, but their videos are often seen by law enforcement and have been used to make arrests. They’re important because they show just how prevalent this problem is. They pretty much only get people within a 50 mile radius of Hartford, and they have no shortage of diddlers to work with.
Naturally NBC News (not your local NBC Connecticut channel, we’re talking about Lester Holt’s NBC News) is now trying to smear them.
Stop the fight!! They’re “smearing” child predators?? You can’t expose people who diddle kids – that’s mean!!
But wait, the diddler ended up committing suicide! This is what people always throw in our face – “what if someone you blog about kills themselves.” Simple:
This is such unbelievable horse shit. It’s not Pop Sqaud’s fault that the kiddie diddler killed himself. He chose that route rather than live with the shame. It should also be noted that what Pop Squad did was prevent a child from being sexually assaulted by an adult. His intent was to do that, and because of Pop Squad he never got the chance. I know I’m being optimistic here, but I believe that some of these diddlers might stop diddling after being featured on Pop Squad. They operate in darkness, but once the light is on them it’s the shame and humiliation they need to seek help and stop feeding into their disgusting desires.
This is the same bullshit we deal with on a daily basis. The mainstream media HATES people who do their job better than them. We are a threat to their way of life and monopoly on the way news is disseminated. Pages like Pop Squad use social media to bring criminals to justice. We do actual research. Stuff journalists used to do before they decided to do this:

This is not news.
This is not real:
President Trump becomes first president since 2002 not to visit troops at Christmastime. https://t.co/6GS2MTeaLZ

NBC does not have time to catch predators because they’re too busy obsessing over the President and making up shit as they go along. This is why they smear media outlets like Turtleboy as “alt right,” and try to make Pop Squad the villain. And instead of pointing out that Pop Squad is doing a public service, the mainstream media is making them the bad guys. They wrote this terribly one sided, completely bullshit article that makes the potential kiddie diddler out to be a sympathetic victim because he committed suicide after getting caught.
On a cool evening in October, Alain Malcolm, 20, walked into a vacant two-story colonial house in Bristol, Connecticut. Two members of a local internet vigilante group — who regularly try to expose and shame alleged child predators they entice online — were waiting for him. Malcolm was tall and handsome. The oldest son of Jamaican immigrants, he wholly subscribed to the idea of the American dream. In high school, Malcolm was vice president of the Future Business Leaders of America club, assistant captain of the tennis and swim teams and a member of the student council and Model United Nations. He started a social marketing business at 15.
Tall and handsome? He was there to fuck a kid. This is the lowest thing I’ve ever seen a mainstream media outlet do. Ever. But these particular diddler goes along with their political agenda. He’s an immigrant of color living the American dream. That matters more than the fact that he liked to fuck kids on the side.
After graduating in 2016, Malcolm filled his Instagram and Facebook feeds with photos of New York high-rises, bathroom selfies in three-piece suits and links to news articles in which he was featured. He went to community college while working as a junior buyer for a local circuit-board manufacturer and was the subject of a Connecticut Public Television series that profiled recent high school graduates. Earlier this year, he was named one of Litchfield County’s 40 Leaders Under 40.
I don’t care about any of that. While he was doing all that he was trying to bang children. End of story.
Malcolm was also gay, which was difficult growing up in a religious family in Torrington, a sleepy former mill town in the northwest part of the state, friends said.
“It’s not easy to be black, Jamaican, a Jehovah’s Witness and gay in Torrington, Connecticut,” said Allie Morrissey, a friend of Malcolm’s.
Starting in high school, Malcolm used apps like Tinder and Grindr to meet men from around the state, friends said. On that October night, he had come to Bristol to meet someone younger, purportedly a 14-year-old boy “going on 15,” according to a video posted by the digital vigilante group known as POPSquad.
He’s black and Jamaican? These are excuses for pedophilia now? Oh wait, he’s also gay, which explains why he wants to bang a 14 year old boy. Because evidently homosexuality is the same thing as pedophilia, at least according to NBC News. I just am amazed how they spent 5-6 paragraphs hyping this man up, and then at the end they throw in that he was going to meet a 14 year old boy, “going on 15.” Like that’s no big deal.
Now I will say this, I might’ve handled this slightly differently:
Confronting Malcolm with copies of the alleged sexual online messages sent to a POPSquad member, Erdmann asked: Why had Malcolm come? What disgusting things was he planning to do? What would his family think? “I don’t have anything to live for,” Malcolm said as he stared at the ground.
“Your family is going to see this. How do you feel?” Erdmann asked, according to people who saw the video.
Malcolm honked twice as he sped away, driving 30 minutes back home to his parents’ house in Torrington, where he hanged himself.
If my goal was to keep him from raping kids and he said that, I’d make a deal with him. From this point on, I own you. I will not post this video. Yet. But I reserve the right to. In the meantime, you are going to report into me every other day and let me know your whereabouts. You and I are going to sit down with your family and I’m going to show them this video privately. Then we’re going to sit down with the police and do the same thing. You are going to get counseling and learn how to not act on these sick impulses that you have. If at any time in the future I think that you are a danger to children, I will post this on our Facebook page.
Then of course NBC News urged Facebook to censor pages like this, because they are an activist network, not a news network.
“These kind of stories, visceral and violent, are more likely to be shared on Facebook,” said Mitali Thakor, an assistant professor at Wesleyan University and expert on digital vigilantism and online child exploitation. Facebook’s focus on local stories and groups could also amplify the predator hunters’ content, Thakor said.
“You’re more likely to see these kind of local stories because Facebook suggests content based on location, and because it’s hyper-localized it seems real and relevant, like this content is from your community newspaper.”
Translation – Facebook should change it’s algorithms to hide pages like Pop Squad.
Facebook told NBC News that it is aware of these groups and does not ban them outright, although much of what they do appears to violate Facebook’s rules against shaming or cyberbullying.
There it is – “bullying.” This is NBC’s passive aggressive way of taking shots at Facebook for not censoring these pages. This is not reporting the news, it’s activism. If Pop Squad “shames” people then so does NBC. Every time they report on someone who has committed a crime, or a politician who has done something dumb, they are “shaming and cyberbullying” them. And because Facebook won’t get rid of them, NBC is trying to make the case why they should.
Looks like it worked:
“We want people to use Facebook and our products to raise awareness about threats to public safety, including those who may pose harm to children,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News. “However, we do not want people to use Facebook to facilitate vigilante violence. That’s why we have policies against threatening real-world harm and to protect people’s privacy if they are being publicly shamed. We will remove content that violates these policies when it is reported.”
Facebook does not allow posts that “reveal personally identifiable information” or amount to cyberbullying, the spokesperson said. The company reviews posts when they are flagged.
You have no privacy on the Internet. If you show up to a house to fuck a child you have given up the right to not have your name put on the Internet. Facebook readily allows “personally identifiable information” on pretty much everyone on their platform, especially if they do something racist or xenophobic. Just look at what they did to Justice Kavanaugh, and the stories they ran with. He didn’t diddle any kids. These people are vile.
Ultimately NBC bragged about getting what they wanted:
After an inquiry from NBC News, Facebook temporarily suspended several predator hunter accounts, removed some individual posts and deleted at least one group entirely. Some groups voluntarily removed their own pages to escape what they saw as a purge. POPSquad appeared to be unaffected.
“Look at us – we got a Facebook page shut down that exposes kiddie diddlers. We’re real news!! Now a bunch of kids will get raped, but at least the rapists won’t have their feelings hurt. But why haven’t they taken down Pop Squad yet? They should definitely take them down too.”
They also go on to shame the guy behind Pop Squad by pointing out that he has tattooes, he’s on probation, and although many have plead guilty after being exposed, others beat the charges. I don’t care about any of those things. The fact that NBC is trying to expose the whistle blower instead of the people he’s blowing the whistle on is everything that is wrong with the MSM.
The mainstream media is the enemy of the people. Trump’s not lying when he says that. What would you call an organization that is actively taking steps to shut down a group of people who prevent children from being raped? What would you say if your child ended up being raped by one of these predators because NBC cared about their feelings, and silenced the people who were preventing them from raping your kid? You’d call them the enemy of the people. Because that’s exactly what they are.
