Apparently Worcester North High School is about as safe as a feminist academy in the middle of Afghanistan. I just saw on GoLocalWorcester that 599 of the roughly 1,300 students at North today are absent from school. Last night the teacher’s union led by one of my favorite Worcesterites himself Lenny Zalauskus, petitioned the School Committee that there weren’t nearly enough staff in that gigantic megaplex of a building to handle the savages that the government won’t let school’s discipline. They were basically told by Superintendent Melinda Boone that she’d already given them plenty of teachers. In other words – sit down, shut up, and magically fix all these problems:
Following the bomb threat on Tuesday, Worcester Police responded to a fight between 30 to 40 students on the third floor of North. During the fight, a male teacher was punched in the head twice and an assistant principal was spit on.
Another teacher was assaulted by a 6’0”, 235 pound 17-year-old male student. The teacher was struck in the chest by the male student while the teacher was attempting to get his students away from the fight.
What the fuck is going on down there? Bomb threats, 40 person fights, principals getting spit on, teachers getting punched. Don’t forget, a couple years ago a police officer was assaulted there as well. Basically what I get out of this is, why would anyone want this job? You gotta be a pretty great, upstanding member of society to care about helping kids learn THAT much that you’re willing to get punched in the face and spat on for shit money. If every teacher there had nice student like this:
then it would be a great job. But they don’t.
So who is to blame for all this? Deadbeat parents who let their kids run wild? According to local race baiting journalist Clive McFarlane from the Telegram and Gazette, the problem is there’s too many honkies at the front of the classrooms:
“The city will have to seriously address why its nonwhite teachers consist of only 14 percent of its 3,177 teaching staff;”
Newsflash Clive – an educated minority with a Master’s degree would be insane to wanna be a teacher. Teachers ARE required to get Master’s Degrees. We’re living in a world where a minority with a Master’s Degree is pretty much as appealing as you can possibly be to an employer or company. The opportunity to make lots of money, be treated with respect, and not get punched in the face by 19 year old freshmen, isn’t something that any sane person would turn down.
Oh yea, and if you were a minority with a Master’s Degree, would you want your job performance to be based on how a bunch of savages do on a standardized test? Teacher’s livelihoods are also directly tied to their students’ test scores and failure rates. Imagine doctors’ jobs were tied to how much weight their patients gained. Imagine the police’s jobs being tied to how many crimes were committed. It’s insane.
Clive went on…
why for a decade Worcester Public Schools has been a leader in the out-of-school suspensions of Latino and special needs students.”
Ya see that right there? That’s the reason that kids are punching teachers, calling in bomb threats, and spitting on principals. Because people like my man Clive here will infer that they are racist in his columns if schools suspend too many kids of a certain ethnic group. So then schools have no choice but to let kids stay in school who should be suspended.
I’ve heard people say that suspensions aren’t a good punishment because the type of kids who get suspended aren’t going to be punished by their parents at home. They’ll just get into more trouble. While this is true, it’s not my problem. If they wanna start the thug life at such a young age then let them. Not my problem. My problem as a parent is that my kids don’t feel safe going to school because schools are being pressure by people like Clive not to suspend assholes.
The bottom line is this. The Busgate parents are everywhere in this city. Kids are being raised by savages who think it’s OK to ransack a bus full of six year olds and put it on Youtube like you accomplished something. Never forget this video:
It all comes back to Busgate. You think the parents who stormed that bus and assaulted the bus driver read to their kids at night? Do you think they grew up watching Sesame Street or Teen Mom? Do you think their homes are filled with leather-bound books? If you do then you need to contact me about purchasing my world famous Nantucket horse ranch IMMEDIATELY. We’ve seen in that video that the poor children are being taught from a young age that they don’t have to listen to authority. Do what you want, when you wanna do it. Fuck procedure. And if you don’t get your way then violence is an acceptable alternative.
This is what they’re learning at the most impressionable age. Do you think the Busgate parents are going to help them apply to colleges, or will even mention the word “college” when they get to high school? Do you think they’ll magically start telling their kids to respect authority?
The bottom line is schools are places where kids are supposed to learn. You can’t possibly have an atmosphere that is conducive to that when you have bomb threats, kids punching teachers in the face, and spitting on principals. Good for the parents who kept their kids at home. This is an actual social movement I can get down with. Keep them at home until the School Committee and the Superintendent get the message. More teachers, more support, or the strike continues.
P.S. We’re going to be doing an upcoming blog about horror stories from teachers. If you are a teacher at North, or any school for that matter, who has had experiences where kids DO NOT get suspended when they probably should be getting suspended, then we wanna hear your story. Send them to us at [email protected] or message us on Facebook. Of course when we write the article you name will not be used.
