This is insane. How anyone would believe this is beyond me. “Your name will not be on the class action if you don’t donate at least $5.00 to my GoFundMe” …..uh, what!? That sentence alone should be enough for anyone.
I was apart of a class action lawsuit in Massachusetts in 2011, settled in 2012. It was filed on behalf of employees of a popular restaurant chain and guess what? I didn’t have to join a Facebook group, donate to a GoFundMe, or do anything at all! I actually didn’t even know I was apart of it, or that a lawsuit even existed until I received a manila-envelope full of paperwork in the mail.
