A purple haired Texas Democrat who fled the state in order to avoid voting on a voting reform act says that she is “brave,” for resisting what is being called Jim Crow 2.0 by the mainstream media. Tonight on Turtle Club we will compare and contrast voting rights laws during Jim Crow in southern states to the ones being proposed today, and see who was braver – purple hair lady or civil rights leaders from the 1960’s.
