Last month I caught Covid from my husbands best friend(heyyo! Jk, he is gross and was just hanging out watching football at our house)like a little bitch, who is otherwise the beacon of health, he ran down to get a Covid test which tested positive. Depending on who he is talking to would dictate how severe his symptoms were, he is a liberal twat. I spent the next two weeks (maybe) with no sense of taste or smell and if I overextended myself physically too long I would get excessively hot and sweaty. I was also pretty tired. It was annoying for sure but honestly, as far as a cold or flu goes it was the best one of my life! No coughing or gross snot or sore throat! I slept in a couple days and didn’t last as long on my treadmill. Most importantly- I didn’t tell anyone or get tested. The way I see it, nothing is going to change whether I have it or not- except the government will use that one more number to shut down small businesses. Either way I was going to stay home and work, fuck if I am going to give them ammo to close shit down. I urge you all to do the same should you get it. I understand when your company requires you to but otherwise I didn’t even have a temp- many of you probably already had it and didn’t even notice. My job is completely threatened as a small business owner that works on stuff that is event-based and the PPP ran out a long time ago. 4.) People craving interaction outside of their own damn households going to visit other family, friends, coworkers, ect thus becoming potential spreaders.
5.) The unintentional creation of speak easy’s by limiting bars and restaurants to how they serve, how much time they can, and other parameters that limit a decent experience. (How did prohibition turn out?)
6.) The homeless, the mentally ill, or any other rabble rouser that cares not for restrictions of any kind and will do what they may.
7.) One can not stop our own politicians, law makers, celebrities, and talking heads from abiding to the throw shit into the fan rules.
