The Turtle Rider Golf Tournament is coming up in just a week, July 26 at 10 PM at Kettle Brook Golf Club in Paxton. Sign up to golf or sponsor a hole here. In preparation for the event the organizing committee arranged for Sam Adams to sponsor the tournament by donating 15 cases of beer, which I picked up in Jamaica Plain last Wednesday.
I knew this would drive the cancel culture crowd mad, and right on cue this toolbag blue checkmark Chip Goines, who is friends with Monica Cannon-Grant and whose sole accomplishment in life is being labeled as one of “10 people on Twitter” who made sure the Olympics didn’t come to Boston, reached out to Sam Adams to demand to know why they did this. The intern he spoke with who runs the Twitter account claims I lied about the donation.
Luckily I always bring receipts.

Here is the email Sam Adams sent one of our organizers telling us that they would be providing 15 free promotional cases of beer for our organization’s event, with instructions on how to pick them up on Wednesday.
Here is our email back to them alerting them that I would be there Wednesday around 5 to pick up the beer.

This makes total sense that the Country Club would have TB deliver his own beer because the last thing any Country Club wants to do during a golf tournament is make a boat load of money selling beer.

I’m torn like Chip Goines’s prolapsed sphincter. On the one hand Sam Adams still brews good beer on the other hand Sam Adams is located in the shit hole Jamaica Plain and no doubt engages in social justice, racial affirmative action hiring practices out of fear and young woke management. 1. Sam Adams Brewery is much smaller and rattier than I imagined.
2. Turtleboy needs to paint his front bumper.
I’ve never been to a golf tournament where the beer is served out of the back of a shit box but I like the idea!
Wouldn’t the beer delivery truck just drop the donated beer off at the country club with it’s regular order? That’s how it’s done.
Maybe it’s done that way if they were donating the beer to the country club. They weren’t doing that- they were donating the beer to a golf tournament. Confused much?
No, Sam Adams always has you pick it up donated beers. They’ll sometimes donate a “bucket of cheer” that they’ll ship, but that is more a silent auction or raffle item and has a voucher for cases of beer for the winner to pick up at the brewery. Most will have you pick up donated beers at their distributor, or you can arrange for the distributor to deliver it, but they’ll often charge. Only a handful of breweries will deliver donated beer themselves.
Sam Adams is brewed with warm, rich bowel movement and thick, creamy feces!
