Source: An Indianapolis man wanted to come up with a way to thank emergency responders, so he decided to hold a lunch called “Blue Lives Matter”. He says after talking to police, fire and EMS crews Saturday, he knew it was a good decision.
“You can see it in their face. You can see it in their eyes when somebody thanks them. They don’t get a lot of that, and a lot of times they deal with the worst side of society. They’re out there protecting victims and dealing with criminals,” said Matt Miller, who organized the event.
“It doesn’t happen very often, but it’s nice to be recognized for what we do every day,” added Mark Otter with Indianapolis Fire Department.
Miller says a lot of police officers and firefighters came to the luncheon. He was ready for that. He cooked-up 100 pounds of pork and 25 pounds of potato salad for the event.
Well isn’t that nice. Good for this guy. Cops get shot all the time in this country and we never hear a word from losers like Hillary Clinton or Goofy Liz Warren about it. But the second some alleged incident of racism (which more often than not turns out to be a hoax) occurs, we get this:
There's no excuse for racism and violence on a college campus. https://t.co/ADVghl4iEv -H
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) February 4, 2016
Obviously no one would have a problem with a civilian spending his own money and devoting his own time to honoring those who pursued a career that would put them in the line of fire so that others can live in safety….right?
LOL. Wrong. Let’s check out what some of these winners have to say….
Newsflash morons – “black lives matter” is code for “fuck the police.” That’s why “blue lives matter” is a great slogan. Because black lives matter should be mocked. Anyone associated with this bootleg movement of Occupy Wall Street leftovers is a joke. They are hear for our amusement. Blue live matter is in direct response to an anti-police movement that devalues and questions the actions taken by police to protect society from dangerous criminals.
Meanwhile at the Ivy League campus of Dartmouth College, campus Republicans posted blue lives matter stuff on a campus bulletin board for National Police Week, which was instituted by President Kennedy in 1962:
This was immediately deemed to be racist:
“In case recent news about inclusivity and diversity had you fooled, Dartmouth is still racist. Located in the student center atrium.”
So it was destroyed:
Replaced with black lives matter propaganda:
And physically protected by bullies who would do physical harm to any student who wished to use the public bulletin board to express their free speech:
Then the following email was sent to students all over campus:
Our goal is to illuminate the severity of the violence people of color face on this campus. In not challenging this oppression against our bodies, instead reproducing this narrative is actively partaking in this violence. Silencing our narratives. If we didn’t take down the display we would be reproducing a violent narrative that works to silence us in masses.
People are tired. People of color are tired of being made inferior to their peers. We are tired of conservative rhetoric reproducing the same racial stereotypes that have positioned our bodies in a violent, inhumane fashion since slavery.
We have reclaimed the board. We are reclaiming our space, in Collis, in Class, and on this Campus. We have proclaimed “Black Lives Matter”—we do in fact matter, and we are here.
Fuck your comfort, there is no such thing as neutral existence. Sitting in the library with your headphones in, intensifies this violence against people of color, muting the voices of the movement, the cries of your peers, and the history of inequality. Posting Blue Lives Matter reproduces the idea that All lives matter, again intensifying the violence against people of color. Invalidating individual realities.
We occupy this space, in front of the bulletin board, to guarantee our presence at this institution. Reposting Blue Lives Matter reproduces this violent narrative against people of color, by silencing us. We will not be silenced.
So let me get this straight. Blue lives matter is bad because it reproduces the idea that all lives matter? And this “intensifies the violence against people of color?” Wait…..what? So all lives don’t matter? Saying that people of all shapes and sizes have value kills black people? Yea, these are the type of people we should be taking seriously.
Not even gonna waste time talking about how ridiculous all of this shit is. Same shit, different campus. Same LOSERS whining about feeling unsafe because of imaginary racism and “violent” words. Same IDIOTS telling people who just wanna go about living their lives without protesting that their indifference is not acceptable.
What’s really sad is that Hillary Clinton supports this garbage and people call Donald Trump the racist and divisive one. Wake up to reality – anyone who thinks blue lives mattering is at all a threat to black people is a complete moron, and anyone who entertains them is only perpetuating the madness.
