Self-Important Woburn Lions Club Sweathogs Won’t Let Grieving Mother Wear Clothing Commemorating 15 Month Old Son Who Was Murdered Last Year

Fifteen month old Noah Larson died after he suffered a traumatic brain injury while in the care of a babysitter in Woburn in August of 2016. A medical examiner ruled the case a homicide, and his parents, Paul Larson and Lindsey Keane, continue to push for justice:
Paul and Lindsey also said they demanded test that revealed Noah’s twin sister, Emelia, had multiple recovering fractures throughout her body. “You go day by day hoping that one day you’ll get justice for your son. But in the back of my head, I honestly don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” said Paul.
“The investigation into how and when these injuries were inflicted and who did it remains active and ongoing,” said the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office.
Just this month, the parents finally obtained Noah’s entire Department of Children and Families case file. The case worker summary concludes that Noah’s injuries were, “…. most likely to be caused during the time frame at the babysitter’s home due to the massive extent of his injury causing his death.”
I don’t get this one. How can the baby’s death be proven to have happened from injuries at the babysitter’s house, and no one is charged? His twin sister had multiple recovering fractures. They didn’t die by accident. It was a homicide. So either it was the babysitter or someone she knows. Is there something I’m missing here? I can’t even find the babysitter’s name on any articles. I’m sure if the cops had anything on her they’d arrest her, but……I just don’t understand how a 15 month old can be killed under circumstances like this and no one is accountable for it.
Anyway, the mother wanted to march in the Woburn Lion’s Club Halloween Parade with a banner for their son. Nothing blaming the babysitter or demanding justice either. Just something simple to show the world how much their son was loved. Seems like something any normal person would allow. But apparently the Lion’s Club wasn’t having none of that:
Da fuq is wrong with these troglodtyes? How is commemorating a dead child controversial? What planet am I living on where celebrating the short life of a human being is a political issue? This isn’t free trade or gun rights. It’s a 15 month old child. We all agree that’s sad. Is there another side to this issue that I’m missing? Is there a pro-dead child contingency out there who would be offended by it? Or are they just trying to protect the feelings of the babysitter?
They even went so far as to tell the mother that her surviving daughter can’t wear a shirt that commemorates her “superman” brother in the superheroes float. They’re literally gonna be watching a float to make sure one child isn’t celebrating her deceased superman of a brother. Do you realize what a piece of shit you have to be to do something like that?
And the really fucked up part about that email is the overall tone. You’re dealing with a grieving mother and a sensitive topic. If you’re gonna say no, then at least ATTEMPT to be respectful about it. That email had no name on it so I assume it for a reason, so I’m assuming it was written some Cunty McGee. Yea, we get it – you’re sooooo important because you’re in the fucking WOBURN Lion’s Club. You have this epic small town parade to put on that’s SOOO expensive, that you don’t have time to return an email to a grieving mother. We understand this was a HUGE inconvenience for you, but heaven forbid you let her down nicely.
Look, I don’t know all the details of this, and it sounds like the reason they rejected her is because whoever the babysitter was has probably been attacked in the local media. But the Mom isn’t asking for a float that demands the babysitter go to jail. The Mom just wants to celebrate the life of her son. What kind of fucked up, demonic people would even think of turning down a grieving mother like that? Here’s some of them:
Including President Tim Mooney
First VP Paul Schmiedel
Second VP Kevin McCall
And third VP Terry Littell
See those chuds? That’s what you look like when you let a small, tiny bit of power go to your head. Guarantee one of them knows the babysitter too. Why else would they possibly vote against this?
According to what Mom was told, only “enjoyable and entertaining” floats were allowed, yet a domestic abuse advocacy group will be marching:
Because everyone knows that domestic violence is both enjoyable and entertaining. At least according to the Lion’s Club of Woburn.
Oh, and if commemorating the dead is something that is frowned upon by the Lion’s Club, then why are they commemorating the dead on their own parade Facebook page?
At least one float in the parade is taking a stand against this madness:
Way to take one for the team Angela!! I love how she’s doing this because it’s putting the Lion’s Club in the position where they’re going to have to forcibly tell a parade participant to take down a memorial for a child who died at fifteen months. That’s a great look for the Lion’s Club.
Anyway, here’s the Woburn Lion’s Club Facebook page. By now you know full well what NOT to do.
