Fifteen month old Noah Larson died after he suffered a traumatic brain injury while in the care of a babysitter in Woburn in August of 2016. A medical examiner ruled the case a homicide, and his parents, Paul Larson and Lindsey Keane, continue to push for justice:

Paul and Lindsey also said they demanded test that revealed Noah’s twin sister, Emelia, had multiple recovering fractures throughout her body. “You go day by day hoping that one day you’ll get justice for your son. But in the back of my head, I honestly don’t think that’s ever going to happen,” said Paul.

“The investigation into how and when these injuries were inflicted and who did it remains active and ongoing,” said the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office.

Just this month, the parents finally obtained Noah’s entire Department of Children and Families case file. The case worker summary concludes that Noah’s injuries were, “…. most likely to be caused during the time frame at the babysitter’s home due to the massive extent of his injury causing his death.”

I don’t get this one. How can the baby’s death be proven to have happened from injuries at the babysitter’s house, and no one is charged? His twin sister had multiple recovering fractures. They didn’t die by accident. It was a homicide. So either it was the babysitter or someone she knows. Is there something I’m missing here? I can’t even find the babysitter’s name on any articles. I’m sure if the cops had anything on her they’d arrest her, but……I just don’t understand how a 15 month old can be killed under circumstances like this and no one is accountable for it.

Anyway, the mother wanted to march in the Woburn Lion’s Club Halloween Parade with a banner for their son. Nothing blaming the babysitter or demanding justice either. Just something simple to show the world how much their son was loved. Seems like something any normal person would allow. But apparently the Lion’s Club wasn’t having none of that:

Da fuq is wrong with these troglodtyes? How is commemorating a dead child controversial? What planet am I living on where celebrating the short life of a human being is a political issue? This isn’t free trade or gun rights. It’s a 15 month old child. We all agree that’s sad. Is there another side to this issue that I’m missing? Is there a pro-dead child contingency out there who would be offended by it? Or are they just trying to protect the feelings of the babysitter?

They even went so far as to tell the mother that her surviving daughter can’t wear a shirt that commemorates her “superman” brother in the superheroes float. They’re literally gonna be watching a float to make sure one child isn’t celebrating her deceased superman of a brother. Do you realize what a piece of shit you have to be to do something like that?

And the really fucked up part about that email is the overall tone. You’re dealing with a grieving mother and a sensitive topic. If you’re gonna say no, then at least ATTEMPT to be respectful about it. That email had no name on it so I assume it for a reason, so I’m assuming it was written some Cunty McGee. Yea, we get it – you’re sooooo important because you’re in the fucking WOBURN Lion’s Club. You have this epic small town parade to put on that’s SOOO expensive, that you don’t have time to return an email to a grieving mother. We understand this was a HUGE inconvenience for you, but heaven forbid you let her down nicely.

Look, I don’t know all the details of this, and it sounds like the reason they rejected her is because whoever the babysitter was has probably been attacked in the local media. But the Mom isn’t asking for a float that demands the babysitter go to jail. The Mom just wants to celebrate the life of her son. What kind of fucked up, demonic people would even think of turning down a grieving mother like that? Here’s some of them:

    Including President Tim Mooney

    First VP Paul Schmiedel

    Second VP Kevin McCall

    And third VP Terry Littell

See those chuds? That’s what you look like when you let a small, tiny bit of power go to your head. Guarantee one of them knows the babysitter too. Why else would they possibly vote against this?

According to what Mom was told, only “enjoyable and entertaining” floats were allowed, yet a domestic abuse advocacy group will be marching:

Because everyone knows that domestic violence is both enjoyable and entertaining. At least according to the Lion’s Club of Woburn.

Oh, and if commemorating the dead is something that is frowned upon by the Lion’s Club, then why are they commemorating the dead on their own parade Facebook page?

At least one float in the parade is taking a stand against this madness:

Way to take one for the team Angela!! I love how she’s doing this because it’s putting the Lion’s Club in the position where they’re going to have to forcibly tell a parade participant to take down a memorial for a child who died at fifteen months. That’s a great look for the Lion’s Club.

Anyway, here’s the Woburn Lion’s Club Facebook page. By now you know full well what NOT to do.

        You mean like yourself

Child abuse and murder is a little too risqué for the Lions Club so they focus their efforts on “eye research”. Fucking eye research!

If anyone can put me in touch with anybody that may be making t shirts or something commemoraring noah, please let me know as i will pass them out to as many people as i can and show up on the sidelines wearing it

      1. Jaime Ferraro

We could always set up a t-shirt campaign and all proceeds can go to Noah’s family. I know there are many companies that do it. Hell let’s start it then advertise it on the Woburn pussy clubs I mean Lions club Facebook page

Hi Mike. Search the Justice For NoahJ Facebook page. They will point you in the right direction

WTF roles are the ‘Tail Tugger’ and ‘Lion Tamer’? Sounds like the some of the queer shit Terry LePage tried to bring in the Legion hall until I called him a sally.

    5. Frisco Speedball

Wouldn’t it be great if a thousand or so people showed up at the parade with Noah shirts on. They can’t stop people from wearing them on the sidelines.

    6. F your Lions

The tone of the first paragraph of the “email you’ve been waiting on” says volumes…

There is a way to address things in a professional and compassionate manner. Note to the
high and mighty Lions – that is not it.

I am curious as to why the self-proclaimed “I am a busy person” is so busy and high and mighty as to not to sign his name, but instead sign the email from “The Woburn Host Lions Club, Inc. Parade Committee.” Coward.

Hmmm, and no name of the accused- but- not- charged- baby sitter has been released..but the Lions are AWFULLY touchy about this…who’s connected?

Dead (no pun intended) wrong on this one.

You let one”grieving mother” on and before you know it, it’s a rachet parade.

The Lions club is one if the last non-political civic organizations left and want to keep it that way. The email says it all. It’s their parade. What gives her the right to rain on it?

      Very un-turtle article.

You sir and your club are complete assholes!

I can understand them not wanting it to turn into an episode where families will have to explain to their children about a baby being killed via child abuse, etc. There is a time and place for everything. I suspect maybe “a banner” was not correct for this setting.

“They even went so far as to tell the mother that her surviving daughter can’t wear a shirt that commemorates her “superman” brother in the superheroes float. ” – That could have been a compromise; a shirt showing him as Superman seems reasonable; a shirt declaring he was murdered…not right for this setting.

Regardless of the right/wrong of them ‘allowing’ anything, the BIGGEST issue I have is the whole tone and attitude of ” “I am a busy person / The Woburn Host Lions Club, Inc. Parade Committee.” It reeks.

        1. Sterling Turtle Rider

If that is truly the concern, then why didn’t they at least attempt to meet her halfway and have a meeting about just what would be on the banner first? At least that is a defensible position – but this delaying tactic is what makes them look slimy in all of this.
If they are really this concerned about the ‘optics’ of it, they sure did the worst possible job at making themselves look like the good guys here…

      3. Shazam

They made it a political issue. It’s not that they said no it’s the way they said it

      4. Lauren

Its the WAY Bryan wrote the email………………………

    8. Homonym

Apparently, The Woburn Lion’s Club doesn’t know the difference between “weather” & “whether”.

    9. Anonymous

It was written by Bryan Murphy

The Woburn Host Lions have a lot of power in our city. Careful going against him. He has made life difficult for others.

I encourage you next time to do some digging next time. As the e-mail says his name is Bryan and that he is on the committee for the Parade, there is only one Bryan.

I used to be involved with the LIONs, until I realized there were some shadiness. None of the people you shared in the article are bad people…

      1. Joan Jones

Who is this babysitter? Time to out the babysitter publicly.

      2. Lauren

I wholeheartedly agree. Bryan Murphy is a VERY corrupt man. He is very shady & should be investigated himself…….

    10. […] we blogged about how the Woburn Lion’s Club wasn’t allowing the mother of a deceased 15 month old boy […]

    11. Turtle Dick is for Losers

You people are far worse than the Lions Club. You’re exploiting a tragedy to create click bait. Then your publication is for the lowest common denominators and white trash. You’re not anyone’s champion. You’re only in it for yourselves, loser white massholes.
