This story out of Southbridge represents everything that is wrong with America in 2016:

On Thursday August 18 at approx. 1145hrs officers were dispatched the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) for a report of a male subject who was arguing with a security guard and had dropped a gun on the floor during the confrontation.

Upon officers arrival on scene they encountered 28 year old Ramon G. VAZQUEZ of 650 Main Street apt#2 in Southbridge, MA and 28 year old Courtney A. HALE of 66 Brookfield Rd in Charlton City, MA in the waiting room of DTA. There were also numerous women and children in the waiting room. Officers were told by security staff that prior police arrival, they noticed that VAZQUEZ had two knives in his possession at which time they approached him to ask him to leave the building because weapons are not allowed on the premises. An argument ensued between VAZQUEZ and the security guard during which time VAZQUEZ allegedly dropped a gun on the floor. Security then contacted our department and requested assistance.

Un-freaking-real. This story is Southbridge it hurts. From the comments we read she was just a normal girl from Charlton who went to Bay Path to become a beautician. Then she met a guy from Southbridge. That’s how it always begins. They take a trip down 169 and the next thing they know they’re collecting welfare and getting arrested for gun and heroin possession at the DTA office.

You know how I can tell these two lovebirds are real winners? Not one person on the Southbridge PD Facebook page has responded with “free my boi.” It doesn’t matter how much of a slug rake you are. If you get arrested for something and the cops post about it, there will be a never ending sea of local muffs who are lining up to say “free my boi.” Not these two though. They’ve burned bridges with EVERYONE!!

First of all, what the hell is an able bodied man like Ramon Vazquez doing at the welfare office with an able bodied woman like Courtney Hale? Oh that’s right, collecting money from the taxpayers. Because….fuck work. And even though they clearly do not need the assistance because they have plenty of money for guns and heroin, they keep collecting anyway. But i mean, why wouldn’t they? They live in a state where idiotic bleeding hearts like Jamie Eldridge, who have never once in their sheltered lives been exposed to scumbags like this, continue to deny that people like this are abusing the system.

But they could’ve kept this scam going if Ramon Vazquez could’ve resisted the urge to be a hardo 24/7. Seriously, he just HAD to bring his knife collection AND his unregistered handgun to the welfare office. He couldn’t just….leave them in the car? He needs his knife collection and heroin with him at all times?

But even after they saw his knives he could’ve left. However, instead of just leaving and letting his 28 going on 50 year old girlfriend collect the checks for him, he just HAD to get in a confrontation with the security guards. Because when you have hair like this:

You always have to prove to the world how much of a badass you are.

Here’s my question – why is she allowed to collect welfare if she has outstanding warrants? Why did it take a gun and a bunch of heroin in order for her to finally get caught? Do they not screen these winners when they come in for their checks on the first of the month? Or do we just hand over money to people who are clearly high so they can spend it on booger sugar as soon as they get out of there? Do you know what the T in DTA stands for? Transitional. As in, it’s supposed to help you transist into a lifestyle that doesn’t require taxpayer handouts. But instead too many people use it AS a lifestyle instead of using it to transist themselves into a self-reliant lifestyle.

Oh good, there are children involved!!! What were the odds that two deadbeats at the Southbridge welfare office would have illegitimate children involved in their lives? Then again, reproducing is the best way to make sure the checks keep coming in this state. We basically incentivize deadbeats like this to never get married but keep pumping out kids anyway. Single Mom gets paid for doing nothing, makes a couple bucks on the side, and pimp Daddy slangs a little H in Webster. You get a section 8 apartment, which leaves you with plenty of cash left over for big screen TV’s, tattoos, and other really important things. This is what we subsidize as taxpayers.

But in Southbridge “engaged” just means he had Chinese food delivered to the apartment and didn’t make her tip.

We can see what Courtney Hale finds appealing about Ramon Vazquez too. This dude might as well have “destined for success” tattooed on his forehead:

That man just oozes sex appeal.

The funny thing is that Southbridge used to be a really nice town back in the day. Ask any of the old timers, or even the people who live on the outskirts of town. But one day they opened up a welfare office there and the rest is history. You open up one of those in your town and you’ve essentially set dooshnozzle bait.
