The Southbridge Public Schools have needed help for a long time now. The town has been a ratchet magnet for the last 25 years or so. With more scumbags moving in and reproducing at rapid rates the schools are tasked with magically fixing socioeconomic problems that no reasonable person would think any teacher could fix. That’s why they brought in Jessica Huizenga, a career hack who hasn’t taught in decades, to be the “receiver” as part of the state takeover. This despite the fact that less than two years ago Mrs. Huizenga was accused of a very serious charge of plagiarism in her administration job in Cambridge.

Screen Shot 2016-06-26 at 12.27.07 PM

But “fixing” the public schools in Southbridge is not an easy task. It’s gonna take a serious commitment from her, the schools, and parents in the community if they hope to see any real long term improvement. And how is she going about “fixing” Southbridge? Apparently by urging parents and students to resist President-Elect Donald Trump as his inauguration approaches. This letter was sent out to all students in the district on Tuesday:

“I can’t remember a time in our country where more people have felt greater uncertainty of what is ahead for all of us and wonder if in the future we will hold true to the core principles that have made us the greatest nation in the world.”

If you honestly believe that 2017, a time with no major world wars, no real threats of nuclear war, no threats of secession, and an unemployment rate hovering around 5-6%, is the point in American history were “more people have felt greater uncertainty of what is ahead” then you are a complete ignoramus and have no business being in education. Your complete and utter lack of knowledge and facts when it comes to American history is sad.

Franklin Roosevelt inherited a country in 1941 in which Imperial Japan was encroaching from the west, Hitler had just taken over France, was actively bombing Britain, and was preparing to invade the Soviet Union after murdering millions in Eastern Europe. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because people are saying mean things on the Internet.

Screen Shot 2015-12-28 at 1.20.12 PM

Harry Truman inherited a country in 1945 where a four year war in which over 20 million people were killed, seemed to have no end in sight. He had to make a decision whether or not to drop a nuclear freaking bomb on civilians in order to end it. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because people are sharing fake news from Buzzfeed.

Abraham Lincoln inherited a country in which millions of black people lived as slaves, half the country was leaving the Union, and the rest of the world was chomping at the bits waiting to watch the grand experiment of democracy crumble on itself. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because Trump wants a wall.

George Washington inherited a country in 1789 that could hardly be called a country. A nation of peasants and white trash that had just overthrown the most powerful military force the earth had ever seen. A nation that Great Britain was still planning on fucking with by impressing our sailors into their never ending wars with France. A nation of 13 states, all with very different needs and goals, which he alone was tasked with keeping together. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because a Muslim woman lied about someone stealing her hijab on the subway.

Ronald Reagan inherited a country in 1981 that was mired in a 35 year cold war with a trigger happy, nuclear capable country empire, that had been aiding acts of aggression against America, and just invaded Afghanistan, prompting an American withdrawal from the Summer Olympics for the first time. Oh yea, and 50 Americans were still being held hostage in Iran, just as they had been for the last 443 days. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because Michael Brown got shot after trying to take a gun from a cop.

John F. Kennedy inherited a country in 1961 in which black people were being burned out of buses and beaten as they road peacefully through the south. A nation that had just seen a Soviet-backed dictator seize power 90 miles south of Florida – the same nation which would aim nuclear missiles at us a year later. But please, tell me more about uncertainty in 2017. Because a white guy in your Gender Studies class committed a microaggression by asking you out on a date.

We must push back against rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division.”

This is what we are paying this woman a six figure salary to do? This is how she’s fixing the Southbridge Public Schools? By DEMANDING, not asking, parents and students to “push back” against Trump. Because in case you couldn’t tell, that’s the “fear, hate, and division” she’s referring to. First of all, who the hell is she to tell parents what they MUST do? Their job is to parent and your job is to help them learn. They don’t have to push back against the President of the United States because you don’t like him. But if you’re really concerned about pushing back against “rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division,” I know who you can start with:

Your racist white friend from Cambridge who profited off of the slaughter of indigenous people so she could get into grad school.

Would Jessica Huizenga have sent this letter out if Hillary Clinton won the election? Nope. Would she be worried about how the diverse community of Southbridge would handle a President who once called black males “super predators?” Would she be worried about black and brown kids who had to look up to a President whose policies directly led to the mass incarceration of people of color? LOL. Of course not. Instead of a letter like this the taxpayers of Southbridge would be getting a letter about what a historic moment in American history we were about to have because a connected, corrupt, multi-millionaire white woman, who got to where she is because she fucked the 42nd President and shamed the women he cheated on her with, was about to be inaugurated.

The bottom line is this is grossly inappropriate. What makes it worse is that this idiot was sent to Southbridge by the state to do one thing – fix the schools. Instead Southbridge has apparently gotten a social justice warrior who is looking to divide the community along ideological lines. Here’s the email for DOE Commissioner Mithcell Chester:

And here’s how you can contact them by phone.

Its time for Governor Baker to remove this Race Baiting dufus. That Letter should be the end of her career. Huizenga’s job is about A’s and B’s, dotting “I’s” and crossing “T’s”. Multiplication tables. But NO she wastes her credibility and message to the Southbridge “Academic” community on National Politics.

This is a great example of “why” the Democrats lost the election. Huizenga puts Her Political Views ahead of the Well Being and Education of the Kids of Southbridge.

    Huizenga Staff meeting Notes, 1/9/2017:
Lets write a letter asking people to have their kid read out loud for 5 minutes a night at the kitchen table. OH, NO WAIT! Lets write to them about Trump, lets create EXCUSES, lets talk total nonsense, lets talk about what HUIZENGA thinks is MORE IMPORTANT.(than education)
    …….she is a ASSHOLE.

Progressive Liberals use a tool over those of Low-Intellect: FEAR

She knows exactly what she is doing: Using Fear and racism to suppress her district who is clearly a great example of “Low Intellect”….That’s why she is there in the first Place. This is another Great example of how the Progressive Left are THE REAL RACISTS.

Trump won 58% of this country. His message resonated: JOBS and Wealth. Progressive Liberals are struggling with this Bottom line fact: the majority of the country has REJECTED what they believe in. They put Political beliefs ahead of what is best for American Citizens.

I know this is an opinion piece but seriously do you really believe you’re authorized to gripe about the receiver when your own facts aren’t even straight? Honestly do you know when Roosevelt was elected? Pretty sure all of that escalated while he was in office trying to fix the disaster an unregulated “free market” had on the American people also presided over by a republican president who did absolutely nothing to lessen the impact it would have on the American people. Oh and in the mid thirties Roosevelt had to deal with a huge environmental issue caus d by our technology and that very same unregulated speculation in the twenties. That’s when hitler was gaining power. He invaded Poland while Roosevelt was president in 1939. Roosevelt pissed Churchill off by not moving. We had bigger economic problems here to deal with after all. We didn’t join that war until we were attacked and Roosevelt certainly didn’t inherit that environment he presided over it. Any substance you had in the article was lost after that misstep. And I am probably wasting my words trying to re teach you American history. Southbridge is a blue town surrounded by red ones sweetheart. I am sure she is speaking to her population but the schools should be separate from a political argument. Politics should not impede education. And yes we are in uncertain times. Probably about as uncertain and as nationistic as the times were at the turn of the twentieth century. Russia meddling in an election is very frightening and having a big oil guy as Secretary of State is not exactly my idea of awesome or qualified. He is lining his pals pockets. And all of your are so blind you refuse to see it. Syria is Bosnia in 1914 but this time it’s worse because Russia won’t be on our side. I don’t expect you to understand that reference but before you try to educate people about how “safe” and “prosperous” we are currently by saying that everything that came before was “worse” you might want to fact check. Most Americans don’t even realize what the hell is going on because cuts to public education have taken that away from them too and they don’t realize it. You are a perfect example of that.

I just read BBirdie’s post, pretty funny stuff.

Hey BBirdie you fear War in the MiddleEast?? Too Late Hippie, its underway.

Obamafurher has been running an illegal war in Iraq for 2 years now. 15,000 soldiers are in Iraq fighting side by side with Iraqi forces, and killing ISIS. Now they are classified in BS ways via Pentagon: Advisors, Security, ect. ect……remember Vietnam? same thing…..

Obama’s Endless War in Afghanistan rolls on………8Years, thousands maimed and killed….a country in Chaos.
Hopefully Trump ends these “Obama endless Wars”

so you reference “Uncertain” times?? well, when you refuse to call something what it “IS”, yes I agree then that’s “Uncertain”……..what is it??? a War? Terrorism? Islamic Terrorism???
Uncertainty indeed……..and those days are soon OVER!

Huzienga does EXACTLY that as well.

If this past election and the fallout from the results (and some of the comments here) have proven ONE thing, it is that the willful ignorance and delusional behavior of the democrats/libs have absolutely no bounds. They’ll create more false narratives and deny all facts and truth just to keep their over inflated, narcissistic, snowflake egos intact in their echo chamber mentality. To the detriment of our country and its future. We truly are living in Orwell’s 1984.

Am I missing something, or are you all just completely illiterate? I read the entire letter several times and I still can’t find where she “urges students to resist Donald Trump”.

The statement reads “We must push back against rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division.” Not once does she mention Trump. The message is meant to unify and not let the negativity that came out of the presidential election divide us even further, regardless of who started that negativity.

I understand that you hate Southbridge and are ignorant enough to hate all Puerto Ricans but you’re pushing it a little. I know many families from Southbridge and well-educated Puerto Rican professionals and this is unfair. Most of them own beautiful homes in Southbridge and have worked hard all of their lives. If you don’t know people, stop spreading such hate about this community.

    • Duke Westwood
      January 13, 2017 at 2:36 pm

Again… Read the first sentence. Does it mean anything? Or is it a throw away that doesn’t need to be there. I assume that the writer would open the letter with a statement that sets up the letter or, at least the paragraph. You have the entire letter in front of you, yet you choose to take things out of context. I suppose this is the fallout from living in a soundbite world. 2+2 doesn’t equal 2. You need to consider all parts of the equation. Yes, the “statement” reads “We must push back against rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division.”. In the very same paragraph that opens with “On January 20, 2017, we will inaugurate the 45th President of the United States.”. Paragraphs build on a topic. So, yes, if she took out the very first line, it changes the tone. But that line is, in fact, there. We really can’t ignore that. And yes, you are clever, she never says “Donald Trump”. But, she does say “the 45th President of the United States”. I don’t know if you saw the news, but (spoiler alert) Donald Trump is the 45th President of the United States!

      • Jc24
        January 13, 2017 at 2:42 pm

So are you telling me that since he has been elected, we should all follow his racist, hateful lead because he’s the 45th fucking President? You cannot tell me that his campaign tactics were not hateful towards many classes of people.

Aren’t we now supposed to support him on his job, not because we agree with everything he says or stands for, but because we want our country to succeed and ignore of leave out the unnecessary hateful and divisive speech?

I did not vote for him. Not because of his personal choices, statements, or agenda but because I felt that a President of any country should have experience. Now that he has won, I have to support him as President when conducting the country’s business but I will not support the “rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division.”

        Why is that wrong?

        • Duke Westwood
          January 13, 2017 at 2:51 pm

Completely different argument. “Am I missing something, or are you all just completely illiterate? I read the entire letter several times and I still can’t find where she “urges students to resist Donald Trump”.” Has now turned into “So are you telling me that since he has been elected, we should all follow his racist, hateful lead because he’s the 45th fucking President?”

Ok… new argument…. Where the fuck did I say “we should all follow his racist, hateful lead”? Please do not put words in my mouth.

You are completely off topic. Shouting CNN talking points. No one can debate someone that just changes thoughts… It’s useless.

          • Jc24
            January 13, 2017 at 3:00 pm

No, it is not a completely different argument. You are saying that because she referred to the 45th President and asked them to “push back against rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division”, she is asking them to resist our President.

Again, she is asking them to resist his hateful, divisive behavior, not him as the President. We all know we have to support him now whether we like it or not but it is a responsible suggestion to be asked to leave out the negative (fear, hate, and division) and unify as a country.

I still don’t understand where you see the issue aside from your own one-sided understanding but maybe my doctorate degree isn’t enough to understand your logic.

          • Duke Westwood
            January 13, 2017 at 3:12 pm

Please point out where I said that (You are saying that because she referred to the 45th President and asked them to “push back against rhetoric that instills fear, hate, and division”, she is asking them to resist our President.)… I can directly point to your statement “Not once does she mention Trump.” (I cut and paste that directly from your comment. And then showed that yes, she was in fact referring to Trump. To further my point, you are now arguing with me about Trump!) So… yeah, she did. I guess we’re not all completely illiterate. But the arrogance that oozes from your need to point out your doctorate degree just hammers home the fact that libtards just love ride in on high horses and simply forget what they were arguing about in the first place.

    • Duke Westwood
      January 13, 2017 at 2:17 pm

Stephanie, maybe I can help you out. Her lead is “On January 20, 2017, we will inaugurate the 45th President of the United States.” Are you really trying to sell that the opening line of the letter, didn’t set the tone for the letter? So, she didn’t say Donald Trump. She said 45th President of the United States. If you have an attention span that lasts long enough for the first paragraph, you’ll understand what it’s about. See, when you are writing, there is a thing called tone. She sets the tone in the very first sentence. So, don’t hate yourself. Practice reading comprehension and retention techniques. It may even help with memory later in life. No need to thank me. I just don’t want to see people go through life ignorant and self-hating.

Our country is seriously divided right now, and both Trump and Hillary (and their supporters) widened that divide. Obama may be blamed for starting it but people on both sides should be searching for some middle ground rather than drawing battle lines. I’m an independent. I lean left on a lot of issues, and right on others. I am concerned that Trump will only be looking out for the wealthy and his own interests, and I’m worried about what backwards steps and damage he will do to the environment. Only time will tell. I’m hopeful but he is a wild card and I’m sorry but that is scary. He definitely doesn’t seem cool calm and collected. And he seems to think he knows it all. Scary combination. Let the down votes and insults commence! And before anyone says it- no I didn’t want Hillary or Bernie, but I just don’t feel like Trump is the answer either. I hope I am pleasantly surprised.

On board with you Lola. Your political status means to me that you are open minded and realize that sometimes you have to move in the direction where the issues are at rather than stand in some corner stomping your feet. That is what extremists do in my opinion.

No one NEEDS to be a staunch republican or an extreme liberal democrat. The truth to me always seems to lie in the middle somewhere DEPENDING on where we are at as a country at the time. Flexibility = a moderate political posture whether democrat or republican in my opinion.

Follow through thought to Lola and Steve V. I think what President elect Trump brings to the table that has been lost for too long is COMMAND PRESENCE. Leadership. Large and in charge. A proven success and winner. Showing the world that we are no longer pussies.

We had a snowflake for the last eight years in the oval office that couldn’t even put out the racial fires escalating from Chicago, his supposed home city, that sprung board him into politics to begin with. Way to turn your back on your peeps Mr. President.

Look – I watched his speech the other night. When EVER he said something to the effect (from memory) that race relations, believe or not, is better now than it was 10, 20, 30 or 40 years ago, something to that effect, I almost choked on my chicken soup.

That right there is proof positive that he was living in la la land the. whole. fucking. time.

Fun fact: BobnMic who swore up and down that he wasn’t the retired worcester cop commenting on the turtleboy story below has just changed his AVI. And guess who’s AVI also just so happened to update to this exact image when he did this? But yeah…they’re not the same account or anything. It’s just a coincidence.

Lola is what is called a flip-flopper. Unable to decide what she stands for.Unable to make a decision.Unable to do what is difficult and looking to appease everyone.
Things don’t work that way. You have to decide which side you are on, and make a decision, and own it. You can’t play both sides.

And you are what is called a cry baby when you do not get your way. Go ahead and stay in far left land or the far right corner. And when things do not work out for you – you’ll stomp your feet into a hissy fit as opposed to realizing the changing tides with time. The truth always lies in the middle my friend. Open your eyes and realize.

          Hey Bug,
I know 100% what I stand for. Not sure where you came up with that assumption. I do “what’s difficult” every fucking day, trust me. I can see merit in “both sides” so why should I pick one? To make you happy? Isn’t the whole SJW issue now that they are intolerant? Well I’m not seeing a whole lotta tolerance from anyone right now dude. Sorry if I OFFENDED you! Lol

Lightning bug… people intelligent to not buy into everything an ideology tells them because they are intellectual enough to understand there are grains of facts and logic between both sides doesn’t make them a flip flopper. Someone who subscribes to a political ideology but was too intellectually lazy to question the holes in some of those ideas themselves makes them (you) a simpleton
