The only state worse than Massachusetts when it comes to ideological morons, is Minnesota. It’s a frozen tundra of PC and lakes. As you can imagine, the climate with the police in the capital city of St. Paul isn’t good. The protesters have been given free reign to block highways, roads, and even threatened to block the Twin Cities marathon. And when you give into this “fuck the police” fooey, stuff like this happens:
A teachers union plans to file a petition for state mediation, a first step toward a possible strike move over the issue of school safety, after staff members were attacked by students Friday at a St. Paul high school. A 16-year-old Central High School student has been charged with felony third-degree assault after police say he slammed a 55-year-old teacher against a wall, choked him and then threw him to the floor after the teacher tried to break up a fight. His 15-year-old brother also faces an assault charge after police say he punched an assistant principal when the administrator tried to help the teacher.
Good for the teachers of St. Paul. Go on strike. Why should you have to deal with this on a daily basis? All I hear about from hippies is the school to prison pipeline nonsense. Newsflash – if you think it’s OK to assault and choke a 55 year old man then prison is the perfect place for you to be. Because you are not fit to live in civilized society due to your status as a savage. For some reason this city, which is significantly larger and more urban than Worcester, has no resource officers in their public schools. So teachers are basically on their own. The most popular thing they are asking for from Santa this year is karate lessons.
Here’s some stats for ya: According to incident data from the St. Paul Police Department, police were called to public schools 118 times for assaults from Jan. 1 through the end of October this year. Over that same period, police were called 30 times for disturbances and fights and 26 times for weapons.
Yea, why have cops in school? They’ve only had to respond to 118 different assaults in the first ten months of the year.
Anyway, the teacher is still recovering from the traumatic brain injury, and guess what the Mom is doing? Making up excuses of course. That was an easy question. A more challenging question is to guess her son’s name:
The 16-year-old at the center of a St. Paul high school assault is sorry a teacher was seriously injured, but he didn’t realize the person who restrained him from behind was a teacher, his mother said Wednesday. Fon’Tae O’Bannon thought it was a fellow student and was trying to defend himself during a fight at the Central High School cafeteria Friday, said Venus Hall, the teen’s mother.
Fon’Tae. The kid’s Goddamn name is Fon’Tae. I swear to God, if some of these moron parents put as much time into raising their kids as they did into coming up with names, society wouldn’t be half as messed up as it already is.
And his Mom, who of course doesn’t have the same last name as him, is blaming everyone except her precious Fon’Tae:
O’Bannon reacted by picking up the man “to get him off him and threw him down,” Hall said. After O’Bannon realized it was a teacher, he calmed down, she said. But prosecutors have accused the teen of continuing to assault the teacher and an assistant principal.
“He did touch him, but it wasn’t maliciously; it wasn’t something that he was trying to attack this teacher,” Hall said. “That’s not what happened. My son is 16 and has never got in a fight before.”
She questions how well staff was monitoring the cafeteria, saying they could have stopped the bullying before it became physical. She wants to know why school staff restrained a student and says the teacher had not identified himself, so her son thought it was a fellow student attacking him.
“The teacher shouldn’t have grabbed him like that; any student would have reacted the same way.”
“He’s a hard worker. A mistake did happen and he’s sitting in there right now worried about what’s going to happen with his future because of it.”
Oh good, she’s blaming the teacher for not identifying himself to her savage son before he choked him out and put him in the hospital. Gee, I wonder why this kid is such an asshole. Can’t figure it out.
According to a fellow student, this was bound to happen:
She added that while she doesn’t think fighting is overall a problem at the school, she said too many kids are allowed to push boundaries and curse at teachers unchecked.
“Our fighting level is not that high, but the disrespect level is,” Montgomery said.
The hippies love to whine about punishing kids for “minor” offenses. Idiot politicians pander to them by forcing schools to cut down on suspension rates for “non-violent” offenses in school. Newsflash – if you stop the little shit, the big shit can’t happen. But if you let the little shit go, kids will keep pushing the boundaries because they realize you are powerless to stop them.
Oh yea, and a 13 year old at a St. Paul middle school assaulted another teacher on Wednesday too. Because this is what happens when hippies are allowed to have any influence on our schools. Someone call up Joyce McNickles and the Mosaic Mafia – St. Paul seems like a great place to sell some diversity training right now!!! You might even find some stressed out teachers who need their blood pressure checked!!
