Daily Caller: A report from Fox Sports analyst Jay Glazer has indicated that the San Fransisco 49ers are likely to part ways with embattled quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
“Regardless of politics or not, he has a very, very big uphill battle to make this team. I’d be shocked if he’s on the 49ers by the time this season ends. It has nothing to do with political views whatsoever. He lost a ton of weight this offseason, had three surgeries, couldn’t work out, lost that double threat, that size-speed ratio. No political views, he just hasn’t been effective. He’s regressing as a player. I’d be shocked if he’s on this roster by the end of this year. He may not be on it in the next two weeks,” Glazer said Monday on Fox Sports,according to Pro Football Talk.
So, it appears that perhaps if he is cut it won’t have anything to do with the fact he refused to stand for the national anthem, and instead is for football-related reasons.
HAHAHHAHAHHAH!!! Karma is a bitch ain’t it? It would be one thing if he took a misguided stance like this in a sport like baseball where the money was guaranteed. But instead he did it in football, which generally has the shortest shelf life, and is the only one where the money is not guaranteed. You actually have to try out and make the team every sing year, and if you’re not good enough the you don’t get paid anymore.
Colin Kaepernick just isn’t a good quarterback. He’s not even mediocre. Mediocre quarterbacks don’t lose their jobs to Blaine freaking Gabbert. He was an easy person for a team that is going nowhere to cut, and he just made it a hell of a lot easier for them to do so by being an asshole.
The part of this story that got me was this:

Don’t you get it? The fact that he sucked at football has EVERYTHING to do with his faux activism. Do you understand how hard it is to be a great NFL quarterback? Tom Brady, and even Peyton Manning, have done what they’ve done because they eat and breathe football. You didn’t hear their opinions on politics because they didn’t care about politics. It was because they didn’t have time to be an activist. You have to constantly be working on reading defenses, studying opponents, watching game films, working out, etc. Meanwhile, this is what Colin Kaepernick’s doing when he’s at home:
He just sits there all day, follows a bunch of BLM idiots on Twitter, and retweets all the dumb shit they say. If you have time to do this then it means you don’t take your job very seriously. This is what he’s not as fast. This is why he’s not a dual threat. This is why the amazing quarterback who stole Alex Smith’s job and nearly won them a Super Bowl is now Blain freaking Gabbert’s backup. Because great NFL quarterbacks don’t have time to be armchair politicians.
