President Trump has weighed in on Dave Roberts’ decision to pull Rich Hill in the 7th inning, even though he was cruising along, only had 91 pitches, and had allowed only one hit.
Watching the Dodgers/Red Sox final innings. It is amazing how a manager takes out a pitcher who is loose & dominating through almost 7 innings, Rich Hill of Dodgers, and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked. 4 run lead gone. Managers do it all the time, big mistake!

I mean, does anyone debate this? The facts speak for themselves – it was a terrible decision. The butthurt in the mentions is everything you knew it would be:
11 Americans were slaughtered today while celebrating an eight-day-old baby and you're tweeting smack about baseball at midnight? What is wrong with you? I've resisted saying this since the election, but you are not right in the head. I wish we could bring in a reliever for you.

Our beloved leader. 11 people are murdered celebrating the birth of a child and all you can do, when you are not defending Saudi murderers or trashing people who get bombs mailed to them, is FUCKING TWEET ABOUT BASEBALL. You are such a disgrace.

Oh snap, it’s the chick from Hangin With Mr. Cooper!! Someone might wanna tell her that that’s not how you spell Pittsburgh, so it kind of defeats the purpose of using a hashtag. P.S. Your city is a joke.
The moral indignation never gets old.
“Trump is talking about baseball, oh no!!! How dare he comment on current events and sports. Obama would NEVER do that!!!”
Oh wait, I forgot the rule is you’re only allowed to talk about sports on days when tragedies didn’t occur. Like all these self righteous assholes are sitting on their couches crying about Pittsburgh. Not one of them actually gives a shit. They’ll go on living their lives tomorrow, getting their bagels, sipping their lattes, and reading Vox, while virtue signaling on Twitter.
What I wanna know is, who is this stupid, fake news buttmuncher who asked Alex Cora, after one of the most amazing comebacks in World Series history, what he thought of Trump’s tweet, and if there was a place for that in baseball:
“Dave Roberts is a good manager. David Price is starting tomorrow.”
Jesus Christ, there is no escape from these people. Such a Tomase/Trenni question, but luckily they weren’t there. These people insist on ruining EVERYTHING by infusing politics into things that have nothing to do with politics (sports). Is there a place for it in baseball? What the hell is the answer to that question? His tweets aren’t actually a part of Major League Baseball. He’s sharing his opinion about a game that millions of people were watching. This is why he resonates with people – because he says what other people are thinking.
Anyway, Cora doesn’t like Trump but he handled that like a boss. He gave him the “who the fuck gave you a press pass?” look. Then he dropped a bomb that was so unreal the idiot commentator assumed he was kidding – David Price is pitching on 3 day’s rest tomorrow. He said it with such confidence and authority that you know Price is going to take care of business tomorrow. The next time this team returns to Boston will be for a duckboat parade.
But seriously, who was that reporter? I’m searching everywhere and can’t find it. They should have their press pass taken from them for life.
