Just saw this on the Facebook machine and it warmed Turtleboy’s heart.
Just wanna give a shoutout to Kelley Square Pizza for this story. There is no doubt in my mind that this is 100% accurate too. If you recall back in our Pizza Tour de Worcester, we visited Kelley Square Pizza. It’s owned by a great guy named George Mitre, and it’s a classic Worcester pizza shop. They do awesome business there and we highly suggest you go and buy a pizza there this week. Oh yea, and when you do, please tell them that Turtleboy sent you.

Yeah Smarty because all the pan handlers will see it after checking the news feed after they update their relationship status on homeless book
Nice. I’m going to dress up like a homeless bum and get my free pie tonight!
I feel good about the gesture, but putting it on blast on social media is going to bring every panhandler within a 20 mile radius to the door looking for a free handout. Then what happens? The owner gets sick of the begging and the beggars get nasty when confronted with the word no.
I wish I could be positive about this, but I just see disaster written all over it.
Great story, I love hearing things like this. I have always loved Kelley Square Pizza, sometimes lately the pizza isn’t as great as it could be but they get busy, it’s understandable. The only bad thing I have to say is that they used to have a delivery driver, (not sure if he’s still there or not) that would ask for a tip & then when you gave him the tip he would be like “that’s it”! I stopped ordering for a while after that……
Thank you for sharing this! I’ll have to make sure we order from there more often.
Too bad the pizza quality is a step over Elios, good on them though. We need more people like this
Yeah, I never understood all the hype about KSP. I’ve lived in Worcester for over 30 years and I always have people telling me that KSP is the best pizza on “the hill”. Nah.
Vernon Pizza is the best pizza on Vernon Hill.
You sir know nothing of KSP’s work
I’d go there for a pie but parking sucks and Pat’s is always on the prowl.
PS – Eddie Augustus should be indicted but unfortunately we do not have an actual Attorney General in this shithole state.
Way too true.
Last winter while waiting for my food they berated an African for complaining about the order. “Go back to Africa, I’ll deliver a bunch of bananas”. Guess homeless get more respect.
What? Were they complaining that they had to pay for it?
Ok troll
Yeah, that happened. Right.
You are one lying sack of crap
